  1. I guess they'd be happy to pay 3Mil credits to unlock the level 10 speeder for all their characters when 5 of them already have speeders. Or Perhaps 2Mil credits for warzone XP bonus when they only intend for one character they got to really be leveling through PvP. That would be oh so AWESOME!
  2. This is a matter of opinion. I don't believe stuff like ship amenities should of been free or cheep. Why? They encourage anti-socialism. Think about it. With a LFG tool, med bot, mail box, practice dummy and whatever else on the ship players no longer need to leave it and even accidentally interact with another player. Now tell me why should that be encouraged more than it already is in an MMO. The character only perks is cool because I'll save money. I level my characters differently so I have a different experience on them. What is the point in spending a lot of credits to give all my characters a buff to Warzsone XP when only 2 of them would be PvPing heavily? Speeder @ lvl 10? Doesn't help my 5 chars over level 25. I'm saving money. Now granted they should of had an option to buy it for single character or Legacy wide but it was known (because it was sitting plain as day since 1.2) that some would be character specific so I don't get the shock NOW.
  3. Rule #1 of Patch Day: Do not log on the day of patch. Rule #2 of Patch Day: Do not F'n log on the day of the F'n patch. Well those are my rules cause every MMO I've ever played has issues the day of patch and that day sucks to play. I'm surprised after years and years of experiencing this servers are not ghost on patch day.
  4. This is what had me chuckling hard. Esp with the complaints that the CHARACTER perks are not account wide. Like I need a perk to give a character I have no desire to PvP on the perk for extra XP while PvPing or the ability to get speeders @ lvl 10 on the 5 characters I got @ lvl 30ish. I'm saving loads of cash by only buying what I want for that character than spending 2Mil on something for my whole account 3 more characters is gonna use.
  5. Haha I'm laughing hard. Why? Due to my experience from other MMOs I've learnt not to bother logging in on patch day.
  6. When you quit your subscription you are given an option to provide this very same feedback. There is no need to come to the forums to do so. Also even without a subscription you can give feedback by e-mailing support@swtor.com
  7. To the OP But damn 2 months. Epic troll by BioWare. That droid mini game wasn't even remotely interesting enough to want to play. Now that Bard Heroic Class Blizzard put down one year for April's Fool was win.
  8. Sometimes that isn't an option. Origin doesn't even look at customers from my country. I have to Western Union money to a friend just to get the game and time cards.
  9. You know what's funny? I was on TSW beta this weekend. They got 3 factions. Know what players said? "Everyone been saying how 3 factions will solve the faction imbalance. It didn't."
  10. Sounds like someone should of hit escape earlier in his dialog.
  11. You stole my idea! FORCE SHOCK!!! ... ... I can't believe I said that.
  12. Make up your minds people ... ... ... Whew... For a sec there... I almost gave a ~cough~
  13. So true... So true... And I like nice things...
  14. ~blink~blink~ I had no idea BioWare created those characters for you spread out among multiple servers.
  15. Here here. On my old server I spent 6hrs to run 3 warzones and because I lost one of those 3 I couldn't get my daily done. What about those who didn't win at all? It's sad how people complain about everything. I can guarantee you the more people are happier with full servers than those who are not.
  16. Yes I think they would and no I don't think they deliberately place restrictions for "looking good" however they have a certain vision. Some may agree some may disagree however I and some others (don't know if it is the majority or not to be frank I don't care if majority or not) believe that light armor classes shouldn't look like they're rocking heavy armor. That's just my opinion and I believe BioWare is right with keeping that for the gear outside of social gear. If they change it I'll just disagree. I'm not gonna cry, I'll send them an e-mail stating as such and that's that. This issue is not game breaking as many of you all are trying to make it out to be and in regards to the cost in swapping mods I don't find it to be that bad. I got a couple mil on my char doing nothing and I don't swap my looks on a daily basis. Each character I got has a signature look and I keep that going. But that's just me.
  17. You seriously underestimate the average gamer. Esp here. I can tell you right now give male characters the ability to wear the slave girl social gear and that same day you'll see at least 5 male characters with body type 4 wearing it. Let's keep some restrictions in place please.
  18. Dude I so agree with you. I leveled a Shadow and kept the same custom gear all the way up because I liked the look. That means every time I get new gear I would yank out the mods and pop it in the stuff I'm wearing. The only gear I did not do it for is the Battlemaster because I was losing the set bonus. Swapped it for War Hero though and never have I been unable to buy what I wanted, level my crafting skills, buy my class skills or anything. The cost for swapping mods is a money sink and not that big of one because most people don't swap mods daily. How characters look due to their armor class and faction should be different. Sure they're looking the other way for social gear but you gotta earn the levels to wear it. Outside of that it'll just seem wrong a sorc rocking heavy armor or a Commando in a robe. Now I agree more options is a good thing there should still be limits. Do not compromise the look of the game more than necessary.
  19. This is the truth. Now there are some review sites I value their opinion but at the same time I try to make my own decision esp if I see a concept that interests me. I like Xplay and their reviews on what they consider bad games are funny but they also know when to be serious and straight forward. However I would not use them as the end all be all of game reviews. The MMO Report is jokes from start to finish so I cannot take what is said there seriously at all. The site I give most validity to is IGN and even them I like to make my own decisions because there have been games they gave a 6 to that I enjoyed. What I do like about IGN is that they have a list of criteria for their review. Their review is based off of that more than the reviewers personal opinion. One time I read a review where the guy said he flat out do not like the genre of games but it still got an 8.5 because the game were reviewed off of those criteria. Bottom line what was said in the MMO report was mildly amusing but something no one should really bother with. People who play the game know the real deal and while some may not be happy most are about the transfers.
  20. It's called a money sink. There is enough complaints that there's nothing to spend money on and how players have so much money sitting on their toons. The cost to swap out mods isn't so bad unless you're doing it often. It's a way to get credits out of the game that's all. I agree that it shouldn't be the exception to the rule. I'd say once in every 3 flashpoints. So you get a heavy dose in BT/Esseles then light in Hammer Station & Athiss, Mand Raiders is prime for a lot of conversation. good smack talk between you and the leader of the Clan or back to base with status updates and or suggestions to move forward.
  21. Not really. These people may not even be interacting with the npc or terminal. My suggestion is not to have terminals in the "corridors" and once you get in areas where the terminals and vendors are located you dismount.
