  1. I thought it did already. Belgoth's Beacon has around 50 or less players on the Republic fleet after 7 PM eastern. If there are 30 people on Ilum that's a good day.
  2. I have had instances where I have stunned someone in the flames and they do not take any damage. I'd say it has happened 4 or 5 times in 2 months. I assumed it was a bug, like everything else.
  3. To what end? I can fly past them to take an objective that gets me no closer to finishing the daily or weekly. I can honestly say that a majority of the time I can't just circle the center b/c there are more imperials doing the same thing. I usually can get the daily done in a day, I would however expect it to be equal among both factions. If there was a buff so that Republic can be competitive vs. Imperials outnumbered 8-14 vs. 20+ I wouldn't have any complaints. Imperial responses always boil down to, "I don't care how much easier/more fun it is for me on Ilum, you should do A, B, and C things to get yours done. What? It's a very unfair. QQ."
  4. I absolutely love the Imperial responses to these threads. "You're trapped at your base?" suicide yourselves as us so we can get valor/comm and then leave when the dailies finished. Gearing up faster than you and then rolling you in premade warzones. Ilum isn't worth a republic players time. If you want to fight it out get into EVEN groups and have organized EVEN battles between 8 or 10 players if that's as many republic as there are. I doubt that most are able to contain themselves from the zerg.
  5. Those are the things I enjoy. I usually buy single player games for things like storyline and voiceovers....
  6. If you aren't having fun now, it isn't going to get fun. If anything for me the game gets worse at 50. I don't understand Sallakat's response. You're forcing yourself to continue with the expectation that it will get better. There are interesting flashpoints and Eternity Vault normal is pretty easy. I'm hoping they balance Ilum.
  7. If all the data isn't taken in a close enough time period he could get duplicate users. Bioware could just release unique users that have logged into a certain server in a 3 day span to show faction bias.
  8. They're working on a new buff to Imperials to snuff out those pesky remaining Republic players.
  9. It's is more like 15 dignity dollars a month than it is $ 15 USD.
  10. Waiting in que's to get rolled by premades. Waiting in que's. Getting rolled at Ilum. Being on a low population server. Not renewing my subscription.
  11. I absolutely require a buff so that the overwhelmed team has a chance at winning. It is pointlessly boring to be outnumbered in Ilum for 22 hours out of the day everyday. I secondly want people to be forced into an ops group when entering the PvP part of Ilum. This might not be necessary if you remove the Warzone buff. If those two things are added, this is a plan that I can absolutely support.
  12. I can't wait for SWTOR to be 1 year old. The games only one year old give them some time, blah, blah, blah. I expected this game to be fairly on par with other games of the genre and period. I understand comparisons with other industries don't always hold water but they make sense to me. Such as if a new car were not working ppl would be upset. It is retarded imo to compare SWTOR to anything other than MMO's of this time period plus or minus 1 year. I fully understand that there are copyrights for coding such that new developers have to create the same code from scratch but they have employees who have done it before. If I designed an airplane out of wood and it crashed I don't think anyone would say, "Well the Hindenburg crashed give it some time." That being said, the only complaint I have with SWTOR is a lack of players on my server. Everything else is fine. I just can't stand the we have to wait mentality and comparing SWTOR to ATARI 2600 games to convince others how good it is.
  13. I've found that tie are decided by who got the farthest the fastest. If both sides breach only the first door and the bridge, and imperials did it with 5 min remaining and republic did it with 5 min and 1 sec remaining. The republic side wins. I've never had a case where neither side didn't breach the first door. Whoever got the farthest the fastest has always been the case for me. I don't really know if something else happens for other people but this seems obvious to me even if I didn't already know by having played Voidstar.
  14. Thanks Lewt. I was hoping I could trade up commendations but I guess my companions are going to have centurion gear.
  15. Que for PvP or Logout for 15 min, he'll get bored soon enough.
  16. I disagree. Call of Duty's multiplayer content is definitely player vs. player which I would also consider a form of a MMORPG. There is gear progression in that all possible equipment is not available to everyone at the start. Call of Duty is successful and I think that in a traditional MMORPG sense reflected towards TOR, PvP in TOR is successful as well. I concede that losing is not fun. I think there need to be better rewards. I also would warmly welcome RvR objective type game play akin to Warhammer, I don't wholly support Ilum in it's current form. One distinct point that I think is valid is that in CoD one person can overcome 4 with skill where in an MMORPG environment it is much harder but not impossible to do so.
  17. I'm level 44 but forgot about space missions and now most are greyed out. It's too late for me but it would have been cool to have a space mission levels like the titles for space missions work.
  18. I've never declined a blind invite. Typing /invite $$$$$ and trying to spell your 14 character name right takes longer than for you to kill the mob we both need which would have completed both our bonuses giving us both 1500 exp. extra. It will only take you longer to level questing alone. With you obvious rebutlle that you're not trying to level quickly, sounds like you'd rather play a single player game, it'll certainly cost you less.
  19. If I'm engaged in 1v1 I use Force Shield and Rejuvenate on myself. Then apply weaken mind talented to slow 20 %. Use Benevolence talented to take 1.4 sec after Rejuvenate is used. I generally always have to focus on myself and using LOS to get breaks to heal myself. You need a teammate to kill someone. If it's 1v2 forget about you have to run away.
  20. If there was a petition that 100 % of the republic player based signed saying that they were dissatisfied with the armor design you would just fabricate another excuse. I play a Jedi Guardian and the Champion Gear is like a light trooper suit with samurai hat. I wish I could get my robes back.
  21. I'm a Republic Jedi Guardian. I don't think that Sith Inquisitors need to be nerfed. There are certain strategies that a team needs to employ regardless of the other teams class. A - It's easiest to win playing with a group than by yourself. Don't give up and disband after a few losses you can't win them all. B - It's easiest to win when your team uses Team Speak, Ventrillo, Mumbles, to talk to each other. Communication = Coordination, locating healers, focusing healers, calling out objectives. C - It's easiest to win by playing for the objectives vs. killing just for medals, i.e. fighting in the pit, fighting in a room already breached D - It's easiest to win when you are geared. Do your PvP dailies on Ilum and in Warzones and you'll have centurion/champion gear in a week or so. - Only focus on two objectives in Alderaan, don't spread yourself too thin - Pass the ball in Huttball, so easy, major advantage - Watch the doors in Voidstar, ping them with dots/AoE - Also use your CC breaker intelligently, use your CC to interrupt healers Inquisitors stuns and roots are annoying though, but what are you going to do.
