  1. Holy love of pizza. I enjoy your passion. But you need to cut it back. No one will read all that friend.
  2. I suggest reformatting OP into bites they can eat. Apologies if late. I definitely didn't read this thread.
  3. Yes, Snipers are horrible. Please, to continue. Leave our weak squishy useless ac alone. Thanks!
  4. A lucid and coherent argument. +1
  5. That. Can't count the number of times we clear a door and I begin to plant, and then 3 other guys click the door as the other team drops down and interrupts unmolested. w...t....f... Also, buffs. Keep buffing, it's free. Don't just wait until you die. Keep those buffs up as often as you can afford the click.
  6. Nerf sniper! You'll be 50 soon, don't sweat it. Snipers have it rough in the 50 bracket, you'll get revenge.
  7. Sniper isn't 'ideal' I suppose, but I have a lot of fun playing mine.. /shrug FF mid targets, control mid targets after a score or pick up the ball if alone and rush to the pit. Move up offense/defense ramps unnoticed to AOE chokepoints and burn healers/carrier. Occasionally (very rarely ) find myself moving into the defense endzone in cover (can't be jumped to) to try to burn up the ballcarrier in a last ditch effort , or into the offensive endzone outside the zerg to facilitate a pass. Certainly a support class, but if played right, can be tons of fun. MVP medals mean people notice the little things!
  8. Chat bubbles? Please? Socializing in Fleet is a bit stale, being relegated to channel /1 and such. Spatial chat bubbles would only serve to further increase immersion, and remove the social chatter from /1 which is being spammed for trade and group. Not sure if asked in the past, if so, update?
  9. Did we read the same blog? I saw nothing that suggested this. Do you assume they will not guide the process to ensure fuller servers? The hysterical rhetoric on these forums is out of control.
  10. Hmm? Anyway, to the poster about anticipating losses based on understanding of the game. I suppose that's true, and it's clear when a team is outmanned or facing poor class comp. But I've also been in those situations where the team figures out a way to win. When you see the lightbulb go off and players begin playing better. Who cares if the other team is better? For those moments when i HAVE been outclassed, and we've managed to scrap out a win. Those are the ones I remember, and the ones I talk about in guildchat. Dunno, maybe I play for different reasons.
  11. Ah, 'mods' meaning armor + enhancements too. Got ya
  12. Maybe it takes 4 hours to run the scripts to backtrace all the credits/players? And trying to run scripts concurrently during an active economy over dozens of servers and hundreds of thousands of accounts simultaneously is impossible/impractical? Who knows... I know I don't. So why get upset?
  13. At 33k each you can do 15 pieces for 495... For your 5 it's only 165k. Where did you get half mil?
  14. That last part kinda ruins any chance your thread has of being anything other than ridiculed.
  15. 50bracket, edited op. Not the first time I've seen it in 50, I've experienced it in closer games where I suspect people assume an eventual loss even tho we're still up 4-3 3-2 or tied and the other team has gotten their act together and is stringing together goals. Still just find it bizarre. The close back and forth games are the fun ones, right?
  16. Pug Huttball 50bracket. Up 4-0, other team recovers from our initial surge and gets 2 on us. 4-2, 6 minutes left. Competitive fun game.. But immediately on the 2nd enemy goal, some guy leaves? Maybe he has irl to deal with at that moment, but sure didn't say anything, and didn't dc. Anyone else seeing this?
  17. ^ that, and ROFL at this thread and the OP's "FU BW I QUIT" Epic, I lol'd.
  18. What? ^ This. Sigh. Every MMO I've ever played has tracked transactions, down to the credit. In SWG, each credit has it's own unique "serial#" if you will, and could be tracked no matter who it went to, and where it went to. I can't prove that BW can track transactions, but historical evidence based on years of MMO's including indie companies with a fraction of this budgets, would suggest they can. Please, please stop throwing out these outrageous claims.
  19. Of course, once the GM's see (on their spoofed accounts) the dupes show up on the paid exploit private forums, they have to act. That's when it snowballs.
  20. "Assuming?" And couple that with 1 person's assertion of 750. It's just a big number, and people freak to things like that. Just breeds hysteria.. We know NOTHING other than 1 person made an unsubstantiated forum claim. And I'm not saying it didn't happen. It's all just such conjecture. Don't want to argue, however, and do I get your overall point.
  21. Where in the world do people pull these types of statistics from? Kinda silly.
  22. (Can't even make it to page 2 before it's already an off-topic flamefest. Can you children take it somewhere else?) Nice tool! Can't wait to give it a try.
  23. Exactly, and this is what drives me nuts. Players whine all day there's no Open World PvP in this game because the artificially manufactured Ilum zone is dead. But it's not true, there's PvP to be had all over the place, but people are like sheep, and will only be herded into the zones created for them that give them their little carrots. SWG, as an example, had some of the best OW-PvP I've played, because it was organic, unpredictable, and massive. 50 people raiding a city for hours, finally getting pushed back by calls to other mayors for help, and then retaliating with a huge strike force. There were no flashy medals, no shiny explosions over your toons head when he got a kill, it was just FUN. People have gotten way to lazy, and conditioned to this idea that PvP has to be structured, and that it is pointless if not rewarded. An attitude that has really damaged the most entertaining element of MMO's.
  24. No, it's not. I've seen a response from a GM in-game to a report of 50's camping lowbie shuttle zones, preventing players from enter/leaving a planet. The response was essentially "X Server is a PvP server, you should recruit high levels to clear the shuttles." On a PvP server, all PvP is fair play. You guys decrying immaturity and whatnot are entitled to your opinions, but it's not a breach of ToS, and reporting it is pointless.
