  2. really niggles?? u should urban dictionary things before you type them.. This guy.. wow
  3. oh damn the word Glee was thrown in. we got a pro troll on our hands.
  4. This is the droid your looking for... And these!!
  5. Chat bubbles no thanks, Role players this isnt the game you have been looking for... move along...
  6. i give the OP a lot of credit for taking his time and writing this all out, I hope Bioware has at least read through his post and realized that what he said alot of people agree upon...
  7. Parsing on a scale from 1-10 is about a 4, which is guess is well enough. Eventually they are going to have to improve upon this, because most people i talk to think of it as a joke. either add one to the UI or allow add-on's. Parsing is just an excuse for we didnt try our best but this is what u get for now.
  8. pointless post... move along nothing to see here..
  9. ^this they even said at the guild summit they want to make more and more things themselves.. which is a bad idea for them to make.. allowing add-ons/macro would allow bioware to make there game better in other places and stop having them spend there resources on a UI that a third party player can do a much better job on . Also a parser that takes more time to use in the long run then a damage meter that only takes a second to update every major patch they put out.. Eventually bioware will let these come into the game, they just feel with them people will get pointed out for not being good, but when in reality its easy to spot who is bad, ( if you back peddle to move out of something your bad, if you cant research any fight or your class your bad, if you think add-ons/macros make a game worse.. your bad), all top players pve and pvp use them because it helps them min/max there dps and heals on a character, among various other things add-ons allow you to do..
  10. snow and grass, if you dont understand that when ur in the warzone you shouldnt be playing the game, i know people that are color blind and get the point..
  11. I dont think you know what your talking about. a Competitive gamer likes to min and max stats and dps/healing.. But they dont need sponsors to do that. a competitive gamer can be anyone that strives to be better. As a person who has had many server firsts in various games and even above 2200 in arenas in that other game... it was also done with casual players... you dont need to play 15 hours a day to be great at this game or other ones for that matter, but bioware can let the community handle the add-on/mod part for them and they can spend there resources on better areas of the game. Your add-on comment is sub par at best, because as for myself someone that has played mmorpgs for over 9 years i realize most people i played with try and want to be better, they ask questions and get what they need to make themselves better... Whatever game you play people will have pros and cons about something and those are the people that aren't competitive gamers and dont care how they play as long as they payed their 15 dollars a month, they dont want to be told how to play... but thats why there are different guilds for those people and servers for that matter... What your saying is competitive gamers or players for that matter have to do something to its max or be sponsored to be competitive, which is frankly hilairous... so sports teams that arent sponsored nor do the players practice everyday for hours on end, they are not allowed to be competitive.. or heck what about kids in gym class they cant be competitive because its only gym. this can go with alot of other things, its just in peoples nature to be competitive.. again more importantly im supporting what this player has to say because there is always the choice or using them and ignoring the add-ons all together..
  12. i'll agree with this add-ons are needed for competitve gaming and games that will want to do well for a long time.. and sadly most of the anti add-on users that post on forums are not competitive gamers and mostly RP'ers or people that aren't very good at the game to be begin with and dont want to be that last person picked in dodgeball. on my server alone we have people that dont wear helmets because they cant find the tab to hide it, then when u tell them how to hide it; they have the excuse is i still do good without it. If Bioware wants to be a competitive game at the end of the day and wants the top end game PVE guilds and PVP guilds to stay they need to open up add-on/modding to the community. PLUS that way they dont waste there resources on a UI team when its cheaper and easier to have the community do it for them..
