  1. Aaron Rodgers would stay on Swiftsure.
  2. Based on your UI and quests, you seem to be a fresh 50 that got ownd by a premade. You should be glad the loss credit exists. People are lazy by default, with or without credit for losing. Chalk up the loss and hope to get on a better team next time. If you don't, you'll still get your daily done.
  3. Level10 PT I hit 290k. At 12 I broke 300k. Have the pics on my PC to prove it...but posting from iPad.
  4. Have the augment table require a catalyst to infuse the armor with an augment slot. Make the catalyst craftable by the non-augment crafting skills. To craft a catalyst would require some rare BOE mats obtained though HM FP bosses or the like. Everyone wins
  5. Being ops leader means squat too; not being it shouldn't hold you back from guiding your team. It's best to at least say some basic strat in the prep time. Good advice or not, it will either push the team in a concentrated effort or spur others who are more experienced to speak up. Be objective in ops chat instead of condescending. If you start whining, people stop listening. Just use uncommon sense.
  6. I'm the best because my mom tells me that every day!
  7. Fixed. And being the best is relative to your competition. If you're playing with below average casuals, you could easily look like king ****, then get into a real match and get stomped. Gear has added another vail over your ability to determine the best. Optimally, with all other things equal, skill should be the only factor. I define skill as many things: Communication skills Twitch reaction (reaction delay) Reacting properly to a given situation (cooldowns, fight-or-flight) Skill spec and skill rotation Team play Maximization of gear through modding Situational awareness (as stated by someone else) There are so many more, but these are what I attain to when I PVP. If you lack in any of these areas, you my friend are not the best. Ps. Everything in the match summary report means jack squat.
  8. You managed to generate a third page all by yourself. We should have that guy calculate the portion of your salary that went to making these posts.
  9. Baddies that can't ball the ball will survive longer with better gear, thus hurting their team even more than before. Just two days ago we lost a match solely because some moron kept picking up the ball or getting the ball from a kill, and "couldn't find the ability to pass the ball". But I still agree with this change. It makes my life much easier if I happen to get 6+ losses in a row (not uncommon on my server); although, the weekly is still win-dependent.
  10. 10-49 PVP is casual, while you run class quests. Putting exp in the gear would put a significant portion of players (questers vs PVP-to50'rs) at a disadvantage, assuming only WZ comm gear has exp. On topic: The separation is needed...period. You cannot have the best of both worlds by only participating in one of them. To be effective in PVP you have to progress through PVP; same goes for PVE. Yes I know you hardcore pvp'rs hate the word 'progression' but there needs to be something to aspire to besides fancy duds; pure enjoyment of PVP'n isn't enough for most people: however, there's plenty of non-MMO games out there that are PVP with no progression if that's what you want. As a business, progression keeps the money flowing...make sure you understand and accept the fact that this will always be a factor.
  11. So many have said it: all depends on play style. One person said it best...wish I could find the post to link it: If you can't multitask at a high lvl, Anni is not your best option. You'd probably see better results rolling rage or carnage. I'll admit I'm not ready for Anni yet; lvl 42 mostly through rage, and after a few WZ after spec'n to Anni I still need a lot of practice. Worst part about it is attempting to apply dots, watch dots, dps, twitch move to break los, watch opponents cast bar, and use cooldowns as necessary. This is why Anni marauder is so OP when played at a high level. If it gets "rebalanced" to bring the expert players in-line with everyone else, the other 80% of Maurader players will be nerfed. If I can't break the skill cap, I'm okay with that. (To the tune of Power Rangers) "Go! Go! Mundane Rage spec!"
  12. For a Merc to hit 5k heal you almost need to spec for it and it helps if your target has spec'd for healing bonus as well. And to be effective in PVP as a healer, a number of things need to happen: YOU have to be good at your job. Need to be left alone or guarded. Have a competent team that focuses ppl down. Have a team that doesn't average 500 expertise
  13. Right now I have a 42 ST PT and 90% of the time I'm the top medal-getter of the entire match. Just because you're a tank doesn't mean you can't dps. I guard, taunt, AoE taunt, oil slick, charge/grapple, all to help the survivability of my team; all the while I'm top 3-5 in dps. Best part of this game is that the classic tank & heal roles can dps while still doing their job; hai2u DFA on raid trash mobs. P.s. in this case, the "don't use 10-49 as a reference" card doesn't apply here. I roll a healer in a premade and my assassin tank always has the same result; 14+ is common for a competitive match.

    PVP weekly

There are several posts/quotes from BW reps that clearly state their intentions about fixing open world PVP. There's even a poll that asks the community what they'd like to see.

They know that...hence the complete overhaul of the system.
