  1. I like the idea of leaving @ 49 like you do. Also though I would like a lower bracket level so that there could be rated WZ brackets with a lower level cap. I enjoy the PvP in this game with less special abilities and expertise, and I think I am not alone in that. Being overpowered and beating up under-geared people is not appealing me, it gets boring quickly.
  2. I would love to be able to have (a) More than one <50 pvp bracket and (b)the ability to toggle earning experience from pvp off and on for my characters. I am sure this sounds familiar to a lot of you. I would love this feature, love building twinks with mod-slot orange gear, and dare I say, this would be relatively easy to implement. PvP is my favorite type of game play in SWTOR and this feature would increase the ways people can enjoy PvP. Adding this feature would probably keep me as a subscriber until I decide if GW2 will deliver the best PvP in MMO's as promised or not.
  3. +1 to the OP and pretty much everyone else for being spot on and hitting the big ugly Biofail nail on it's head. ...see you all in D3 and GW2.
  4. The fact that pets are allowed in WZ's and have healthbars to begin with was stupid. That is has not been fixed already, well, I would say it has more to do with the triage method of the allocation of resources going on with EA/Biofail. Allocate enough resources vs effect on subscribers is the name of the game for them now. It is obvious EA/Biofail stopped trying to make a great game and just put their efforts into making money with this game with the decision to launch it when they did. But yeah, fix this ****.... as if you care Biofail.
  5. servers will merge about the same time things go free to play. The sooner you unsub the sooner the game will be free.
  6. no as for reasons why I wont, just browse these forums, most of my reasons are here.
  7. Yes all MMO's have grinds and yes there are games with worse grinds than this, so effing what!?!?!? my point is, is that there are also things in other mmo's that are only obtainable through merit and achievement. Right now I can get the best pvp gear in the game as an imperial by afk'ng outside the republic base on Ilum. If you think there is nothing wrong with that or "so what all mmo's have grinds" then I pity you.
  8. yes but then they will put them back in the game at some point in the future - and the white crystals are just one more symptom of what a lot of people think is a serious flaw in this game - from and end game MMO standpoint, and that is it is just a grind. Grind your white crystals, grind battlemasters, grind that last piece of gear. There is not a lot that is particularly difficult in this game, and that sucks, all there are just different grinds
  9. Making white color crystals available from a vendor is a terrible idea and endemic of a design flaw and a faulty paradigm in use (group think from the old guard?) by the developers. The White Color Crystals should be obtainable through achievements and merit. For example make the pattern and materials rare drops from nightmare difficulty bosses. (pattern and mats BoP, white crystals BoE obviously) This would kill 2 birds with 1 stone in it would keep them rare and therefore maintain their value and it would throw a bone to a crafting profession that is not Biochemistry. Put white color crystals in the next, highest tier of PvP gear, and FFS make the gear obtainable through merit and not some senseless grind that is proportionally imbalanced along server population differences - Ilum. If the devs still need a high end credit sink, then might I suggest a C2-N2 voice box removal kit.
  10. - meant to post this in general disc. riposting it there so feel free to delete this.

  12. Based on the stats presented in this website http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us/trends and EA's history it is clearly a mater of when, not if. EA is after all a pioneer of the free to play micro transaction paradigm. This post will likely be deleted before the game is free to play however

    Hacks:

*please sticky this so we can have one thread where people can post hacks & exploits they have observed. Speed Hack Permanently Stunned with no debuff (dunno if this is actually a hack or an "undocumented feature" - hence the necessity of this getting sticky) Healing while invisible/cloaked - a stealth healer class actually healing other people and those abilities not breaking stealth.

Once you land one must then wait behind the force field. This essentially and literally defeats one team and hands victory to the other team. My question is this: Why is that dumb ufkcing Voidstar speeder ride still in the game? p.s. if u reply with a "umad bro" post the only thing smaller than your mind is your genitalia. Warnings serve as a reminder to you of the forum's rules, which you are expected to understand and follow. All the best, STAR WARS: The Old Republic Really, so criticizing the fail in this game gets you a warning?
  15. You missed the point, during some games people are stuck on a speeder to the extent that the game starts with a numerical disadvantage thus deciding the outcome of the war zone before it even starts.
