After a bit of recruiting, I was able to assemble a team and we made it as far as the laser gate/turret area. On our first try, the laser gates would not open after downing the turrets. After resetting, the gates dropped but the droid and control panel were no accessible (the traps remained intact). Frustrating to say the least. It takes a while to get a group for this mission. I fail to see why it remains a Heroic 4 after all this time. Are there any workarounds besides resetting over and over and hoping for the best?

I was doing a bit of exploring/achievement hunting on Mek-Sha when I hit a dead end. I need to scan the Friendly Frond and the Original TaunTaun Steak locations (I think). Anyone have any idea where these are? My asking in chat was met with eerie silence.

Earlier today, I sent in a ticket regarding the Conquered Exarch’s bracers that, at one time, used to drop from random mobs in the Star Fortress missions. I was told they are now obsolete and no longer drop from mobs at all...as I feared. Being that these are the final pieces needed to complete our Legacy sets we receive as mission rewards, please add them back to the game. Perhaps consider adding them to one of the vendors or as part of the Weekly reward.

I will pay a Hutt's ransom in credits for these codes. If anyone has spare unused ones please send a PM to Ba'rin Trenru (Rep) or Depraedus (Imp) on the Star Forge server.

And a few more: 7) Please consider bringing back the Chevin event if only once a year. I enjoyed this event and would like to see it return in some form. 8) Please make it so fun that pets and mounts from the Cartel Coin cards or Cantinas can be obtained in some way. For example, I missed a Prinawe mount simply due to fact I was unaware these rewards even existed. As for the Cartel Coin pets, some of these were a beast to track down (and still are). 9) Please allow an alternative way to purchase the old SE Green Crystals and Cartel Certificate items. In the case of the crystals, it’s been many years since the Razer promotions and it’s basically impossible to get these now. 10) Return the Reverse Engineering of crystals giving schematics ability. Trying to obtain a Magenta Hawkeye schematic these days is brutal. So, just a few more suggestions. Please consider these as well.

I thought I'd compile a short list of things I'd like to see implemented or returned to the game (as the reasons for the removal were baffling to me): 1) Reverse engineering of Crystals such as Magenta, etc. With the current population of the game being lower than in the past, there are fewer people running ops and World Boss hunts. As such, I have not seen the elusive Advanced Magenta Hawkeye crystal schematic in some time. It would be nice to once again be able to obtain the schematic for this and other crystals as we were able to before. 2) Address the Star Fortress loot drops. I have ran both story and veteran modes several times and it appears the bracers for the Exarch sets no longer drop. This needs to be addressed as it is no impossible to complete these sets. If anyone has had them drop recently please let me know as last I checked this was a known problem. 3) Cartel Certificates should be returned to crates. Another baffling choice as there are now more strongholds than ever yet the decorations that can be purchased using Certificates are effectively cut off being that that currency is basically dead. 4) Although it was by no means stellar, I would like to see the Chevin event return just once. Call it nostalgia but I don't see how it would hurt. 5) It has been many years since their removal but I would like to see the Tionese, Columi and Rakata armors return in some fashion. I would also like to see the named weapons return as well. The newer armors and weapons don't have the same meaning as those obtained years ago. 6) As you can tell, I'm on a nostalgia kick and, as such, would like to see the old PVP armor schematics return as well. There simply aren't enough crafters of these older sets left that make these items (same with the crystals) and it would be nice to see their return. 7) Adjust the loot tables in general. Gifts are fine and all but I miss trying to complete the older sets which are now virtually impossible to obtain (Vindicator, Battlemind, Ardent Blade, Ardent Warrior, etc.). That's all I can think of for now. Just some things I'd like to see returned or added. It would be great to see some of these things return if only for a limited time.

Anyone remember the old Heroic Space Missions from 1.6? The brutally hard ones? I play them once in a while before becoming frustrated and give up on them for a year or two. As of this writing, I have only been able to complete the Escort missions on both sides. Now, because it's the only reputation chain I never completed, I felt like revisiting them and am trying to max that out. Because it's going to take a hundred plus runs of The Impossible Sector to even get this close to complete, I was wondering if they ever plan on nerfing these a bit as they have all other Heroics in the game. I would suspect not as the last update to Space Missions was 1.6 but it would be nice if they released more components at the very least so those who struggled with these mightily might have a chance to finish them (the warning for each mission states you require Grade 7 or HIGHER. We never got the higher part). So, to the dev team, any chance you could toss out some Grade 8 components? Or higher?

When the Heroic quest givers were returned to the game (after being removed for some reason), I noticed that Travi Pott on Ord Mantell was not in her usual spot. The Heroic terminal states I can speak to her to accept the mission but she simply is not in her usual spot near Savrip Island. Has she been moved elsewhere as some of the others were or has she simply not been reinstated for some reason?

Granted, very few people do the Space Missions but I do them from time to time on certain characters. Recently, I noticed the Starship Upgrades were removed from the Cartel Market and Collections. I have no idea how long ago they were removed or why but I would like to see them return if only for a limited time. I understand there was probably very little profit to be made off them but bringing them back for a week or so every now and then wouldn't hurt. What I found odd is that the Grade 7 upgrades on the GTN specifically state they are unlocked in Collections from a previous purchase but they have been removed from there altogether it seems (and I couldn't unlock them for all characters as it was for some reason). Any chance they can make a return?

After having collected every scrap of pixelated goodness the Cartel Market has to offer, I set my sights on collecting the older class-specific prestige sets. Now, I am one piece away from completing them (in their current state): the TD-17A Phalanx Headgear. If anyone has one stored away somewhere I am prepared to pay a ridiculous amount for it. I am currently on The Ebon Hawk but will transfer one of my alts over to pick it up if need be. I am offering 5 million credits for this one piece of gear that isn't worth a fraction of that. Yes, I know there will be vendored versions released in May but I would like to complete the sets as they are now. Any takers?

I am a somewhat avid collector of armor sets, weapon sets and Motorized Leaf Shutters. Primarily, I have been trying, in vain, to complete the tier one prestige sets. The chestpieces to these classic sets were formerly quest rewards for completing the Coruscant/Dromund Kaas planetary quests. Now, they've been replaced with some silly hat or pantaloons or something like that and have been, from what the interwebs inform me, moved to the random world drop category. Unacceptable! The problem with them being moved isn't just the fact that they have a ridiculous drop rate in comparison to the flood of gifts being dropped by the bad people (why do these people carry around so many Sleen Tails anyway?). The problem is that these armor pieces were, apparently, never changed from BOP to BOE so they never will appear on the GTN. Ever. It makes it nearly impossible to complete these sets as it is now. The other pieces of these sets are still popping up on the GTN so it would make sense to make the full set attainable. I'm sure I speak for the one or two other people worldwide who might be trying to complete these sets when I say please fix this egregious error and complete miscarriage of justice. Make it your top priority! All those other bugs and things people complain about can wait. I would really like to complete them for my alts. Today. If you do, I promise to not only pay for my subscription next month but maybe even the month after that as a sign of my eternal gratitude and devotion (did I mention I am a beta tester, founder, former Legendary Player (thanks for ripping that away from me, by the way), cartel coin purchaser, hypercrate buyer (the chance cubes suck), spaghetti connoisseur, a titan of industry (not to mention I may or may not have had a hand in winning World War I)? Surely, these meaningless accolades mean something and you will no doubt immediately rush to complete this task because you wish not to offend my delicate sensibilities (namely entitlement)). The sets you must immediately adjust/give to me out of pity are as follows: Omenbringer's Battle Expulsor's TD-17A Talon RD-07A Spider Battleborn Saber Marshal's Blade Tyrant's TD-07A Panther TD-17A Imperator Bladestorm I know there are look-alike pieces out there (I have scoured TOR Fashion to find a workaround) but I am a collector of these things. I would prefer not to have six original set pieces and some random green piece thrown in just because. It would be like trying to complete a vintage comic book set but using only reprints to do so. My thanks in advance for addressing this matter. You are truly some of the greatest people who ever lived. Legends! Truly. I'm not just saying that... Oh, and while I'm here: please make it so the original Heroics quest givers have their original dialog restored. The last thing I want is for me to get yelled at from the heavens by some guy I barely remember telling me I did a nice job as soon as I click something that ends a mission. Are all these people watching me on hidden cameras or something? How do they know when I've defeated a Drunken Flesh Raider World Boss of Regurgitation at that precise moment? It's immersion breaking and it's intrusive.

I did indeed check TOR Fashion for comparable pieces and even asked the same questions I asked here on the forums. I was informed they may indeed world drops. This might be a problem. I have yet to see any on the GTN and I check for all sets regularly. They were originally BoP and if they never changed them when they removed them as quest rewards then they simply cannot be sold. If that is the case, I hope the developers can adjust this so that the sets can once again be completed.

Well, after finally receiving two very different replies from Customer Service on the matter (one rep stated they were removed while another said they have been moved but wouldn't state where they have gone), I decided to run through every mission on Coruscant as well as the solo version of The Esseles. Nothing. Now, I'm seeking the help of the community. Here are a few questions as a longtime subscriber/founder/beta tester/purchaser of way too many Cartel Coins/pillar of the community/heir of Revan/master of ceremonies/incredible smell discoverer/captain of industry/meatbag: 1) Are there plans to return the Heroic/Flashpoint quest givers to the game? Example: Do Zonn has given up on his meditating on his failure/standing by tents for years on end and has wandered off. There are titles, codex entries and light side/dark side choices attached to these missions (which remain in the codex entries for each planet) and it's sheer lunacy they were removed. Please bring them back. 2) The tier one Prestige chestpieces (Battle Expulsor's, Omenbringer's, Blade Tyrant's, Saber Marshal's, etc.) were removed from the game with 4.0. The rest of the pieces for each set remain active in the game as loot drops. Now, no one can complete these sets (I like them for nostalgia purposes) and the seven other people who may want to are now sad. Any plans to restore these so some people can actually complete these sets? 3) While I didn't mind the PVP grind for companions and actually kind of enjoyed it (I can count on my hand the number of times I PVPed since launch), I can see why others are balking at the notion. Any chance we can find a middle ground? Perhaps 10 matches instead of 20? 4) Speaking of grinding companions and gifts: too much. It's overwhelming to those with far too many alts. I've never given that many gifts in my entire (real) life as I have to these mostly mute groupies. Affection max of 25 wouldn't be so bad. Any chance this will be changed so we aren't spending the remaining lifespan of the game standing in one spot handing Space Raid and Moldy Tacos to our Probe Droids? 5) Crafting changes. Why, for the love of toe crust, why? That's all for now. Just a few questions from one who never really had questions until 4.0 was released.

So, I was about to start the Heroic 2 The Chamber of Speech on Tython, checked the Heroic terminal and noticed I could speak to Do Zonn instead of simply accepting the mission there and ran off to talk to that guy. He wasn't there. Very rude. I understand the quest givers for Heroics on the starter planets were inexplicably removed with 4.0 but this, apparently, wasn't very well thought out or implemented. In Do Zonn's case, there was both a title and a codex entry obtained when the mission was turned in. Now, there is nothing. Between this and the removal of the tier one prestige chestpiece rewards (Battle Expulsor's, Omenbringer's, etc.) from the Gree/Revanite missions (removing the chestpiece from the game while leaving the other set items as loot drops is lunacy.), I am getting annoyed with the haphazard way things were removed with this latest expansion. So much was taken out with seemingly no thought as to the repercussions of removing said items. Please fix these annoying issues.

As one who has collected all of the three tiers of the Prestige armor sets for all classes (example: Battle Expulsor's, Jedi Myrmidon's, Jedi Battlelord's) for current and future alts, I've noticed the tier one version chestpieces that were obtainable for completing the planetary quests on Coruscant and Dromund Kaas (Battle Expulsor's, Omenbringer's, Blade Tyrant's, etc.) were removed from the game with 4.0. Please return them so that the twelve of us who are interested in completing these sets can do so. These can simply be added to a Special Goods vendor or thrown back in as an optional quest reward or even as loot drops. The other pieces of these sets continue to drop as loot but now no one can complete the sets at all. As someone who has been here from the start, sometimes I give in to nostalgia and feel like wearing some of the classic sets (and not all of them were that hideous). Now that the smoke is (hopefully) clearing after the companion affair, this will get noticed and addressed.

I have been urged by Customer Service (in response to a ticket created a week or two ago) to use the forums to create a thread that will catch the eye of the devs and, hopefully, address a couple of concerns/suggestions I have. So, without further ado... 1) I have been informed the tier one Prestige armor pieces that were given as quest rewards for completing the Gree (Coruscant) and Revanite (Dromund Kaas) have been removed from the game. I find this both odd and frustrating as I had collected all the pieces for all three tiers to give to alts only to now discover the tier one chest pieces are no longer available. What's more curious is the other pieces of the tier one gear sets remain in the game as loot drops. My suggestion is the removed chest pieces be once again added to the game so that those of us interested in these sets can once again complete them. Perhaps they can be obtain via loot drop or, even better, added to the Specialty Goods vendor on the starter worlds. Otherwise, it creates confusion for those who may want to complete these sets (there may not be many who would but I certainly would like to). The armor pieces removed are as follows: Battle Expulsor's Chestguard Omenbringer's Robe RD-07A Spider Body Armor TD-17A Talon Jacket Blade Tyrant's Chestguard Saber Marshal's Robe TD-07A Panther Jacket TD-17A Imperator Body Armor 2) I purchased a few Skip Tracer's hypercrates shortly after the conversion to 4.0 and, suddenly, I find myself buried under a pile of older, now obsolete, rare crafting materials (Rakata Energy Node, etc.). Being that there remains a considerable number of older hypercrates and packs on the GTN, might I suggest another conversion of these materials is in order for the stragglers out there? 3) This is more of a personal request: I was completely unaware of the Anaheim Cantina mount giveaway until well after the fact. While I was able to snare the final four Prinawe mounts, I would really like to complete the set. I ask that, at some point, these be made available in some form so that those that missed some of them can complete the set (perhaps similar to how items from the original Rakghoul and Chevin events years ago can now obtain the items they may have missed). 4) Last but not least: Forced PVP to obtain a PVE companion and the mass crafting changes in general. Don't like them. I'm not going to say change them but they require a reevaluation. For details, please see the 1,245,354 mostly angry and sometimes constructive threads concerning them. These were not positive changes on the whole. In closing, as one who has been here for years, I want to say I love the game and the expansion and look forward to more.

So, I have been amassing a cargo hold full of the old tier one prestige armor sets (Battle Expulsor's, Omenbringer's, Saber Marshal's, etc.) and ran through the Coruscant Gree questline just to make sure the chest pieces are still awarded for completing them. They are not. Has anyone happened to notice if they have been moved elsewhere (other quest rewards) or have they been removed altogether? I'm one of the few who may care about these items but I'd like to know nonetheless.

About two weeks ago, I decided to put together the tiered orange sets such as the Jedi Battlelord's, Sith Champion's, Jedi Myrmidon's, etc. After having a good run of success, I've hit a brick wall. I need three pieces to complete all sets for all classes but I have yet to see them on the GTN and I have no idea where to farm these particular items as my research has come up empty. The items in question are: Sith Archon's Belt, Force Magister's Waistwrap and TD-17A Colossus Gloves. If anyone has any ideas on where to find these particular items (something more specific than mobs or lockboxes), please let me know. It should also be noted that, if anyone should have these lying around the cargo hold and are on the Ebon Hawk server, that I will pay a hefty price to complete these sets.
