  1. So far I'm running 5% Accuracy (2 enhancements), ~70% crit multi, and the rest on Alacrity. I've noticed that power/mastery augs are noob traps atm. Tetriary stat augs are the way to go. Though I'd like to see some inputs on Accuracy in PvP, seeing that a lot of classes now have.. well, stray defense stats from their abilities. Would anyone argue that 0 accuracy is better than 5%+ accuracy?
  2. Exactly, since propulsion round is supposedly a projectile from the ability description, I don't see the reason why it shouldn't be able to function while midflight just like every other abilities.
  3. Here are some suggestions to tweak commando's new ability to make it better in terms of both balancing and RP: 1. Allow propulsion round to be used with Blaster Rifle 2. Allow propulsion round to be used while in air
  4. That's due to the lack of medical probe (bug) during early access, in which gimped commando healers (specifically commando, not mercenary) in many WZs as well as operations.
  5. Viable, but not above every other class, in which the point is moot since PvE should never be the basis of how the classes are balanced. Not only will that further alienate the PvP population, now that the Devs have decided to not make any more new operations, they should really take care of the PvP aspect of the game. They have neglected many specific classes (Not just commandos, but gunslingers, as well, as they both have never been FotM pvp class at all for the past 4 years) Don't get me wrong, but most of us talk about PvE as in Hard Mode / Nightmare operation level progression such as the now on-level Nightmare Council/Brontes and HM Revan (nerfed, again). Not solo or story mode where ALL classes are expected to be viable and do well enough without scaring off the casual players. Again, let me reiterate, there is nothing wrong with being casual, we all enjoy the story here. But once the stories are done, what's left are the end-game contents (PvP/PvE/RP) where PvP is the most sensitive one.
  6. To all the naysayers about new class possibility: 1. People once said guild flag ships won't happen 2. People also said BioWare is only going to focus on end game content and there will be no more new stories 3. Others claimed that the game will never be balanced and the devs continues to laugh at Commando's demise in pvp Well, #3 is still true, sadly. I'm still waiting on that cross-server ranked queue and new class to happen, even if it's just mirror SIS agent, imperial trooper and universal bounty hunter/smuggler.

Commando/Mercenary: You will enjoy the worst possible PvP experience as well as being constantly hit by unintentional/intentional nerfbats while you drool at other classes and how well they perform in pvp - all the while those other classes get buffed even more! It's been almost 4 years since launch and I wonder if it's gonna take another 4 for the devs (2nd set of devs, mind you) to realize that commandos/mercenaries need some love. Edit: After some thoughtful reading I just realized I've been barking at the wrong tree. Apologies, I can only ask for your understanding that how frustrating it can be when one's main class has been in the oblivions for almost 4 years.
  8. It's okay guys, it's only been 7 days that the commandos are gimped. We'd be lucky if it'll be fixed within the month or 2, seeing how it took BioWare a year to figure out that the trooper's ammo system is different and harsher than that of bounty hunter's.

  10. Let's face it guys, even with 2 different set of devs since launch and the same complaint/statistics, they're still not gonna do jack sh*t for us.
  11. You need to make sure there are no more 'locked' boxes in your bank first before trying to purchase it off the vendor.
  12. Oh no, someone is posting the harsh truth! Everyone, cover your eyes and ears, do not let this elitist sway you away from subbing the great game that has been around for 4 years! And no, I am not on denial nor am I a hardcore fanboy of this game, even though I do own the collector's edition and have closed beta tested this game before its release as well as following the forums/development long beforehand.
  13. There's that, but the previous titles/achievements will not be available. Kind of bummed me out since I can't have the title "Jedi" on the newly created lvl60 consulars now.
  14. Star Wars: Return of the Casuals I jest. The new story is amazing and the choices definitely felt more weighted than the vanilla contents (Save for agent storyline, that was on-par) Although one thing I gotta mention is the fact that Commandos (and commandos only, not even merc) has their ability, medical probe, bugged out. This renders them the least favored healing class in any form of current content, both PvE and PvP as of this patch. Need I remind everyone here that since the early access in Winter 2011 Commandos have been inferior in the past due to: 1. Lack of Combat-Rez in 1.0 2. Lack of Interrupt in 1.0 3. Unjustified Nerf in 1.2 4. Difference in resource management compared to mercenaries pre-2.0 (12/12 ammo system instead of 100/100) 5. Worst healing class in ranked PvP during 3.0, higher skill cap with less, if no rewards. It took BioWare a year to figure out that commando's resource system was different than mercenary's (harsher and unfair in that aspect) and 2 years to fix the codices from vanilla content. Please don't tell me it will take months to fix commandos, again. Come on BioWare. I've been playing this game for so long and the first thing you do to my beloved commando class is to make them unviable in the expansion?
  15. Really depends on whether you prefer humility and green/yellow colored buttons for sages or extravagance and purple/red colored abilities for sorcs. I personally prefer sages, but the Republic players are generally lacking in the aspects of pvp as what my experience is in 3 servers.

  19. If you guys let a tradition almost as old as the game itself die out, you may as well pronounce the server PvE-dead! Just wanted to be dramatic once in a while, pay me no mind.
  20. Funny thing is during 1.0 people complained on how everyone looked the same and the armors are all cloned from WoW with their massive shoulder pauldrons. That was long before color dyes and matching colors were introduced, mind you. Of course, people just didn't appreciate their lightsabers being named Justice and Mercy (that was awesome, lol) Now everything is bland and named "Dread Forged Vindicator's Lightsaber" or "Revanite's...", I still have a collection of specially named weapons such as "Draay's Legacy" or "Force-Multiplier Five". With the introduction of legacy weapons, it didn't help the customization aspect of the game any further. The names on the weapons are only good for when people inspected your gear. If only they'd have introduced character outfit designer sooner than 3.5 years after release, I'd be running around in my centurion or recruit MK-1 gear.
