DOMINUS is coming

I hear ya, you should check out the game DOMINUS in development, looks like it will have awesome open world PvP.

I was putting up with/toughing through some of the issues I was having at release (like not being able to read chat dialogue and crappy animations that made the game frustrating)...then a CSR had me do something on the tech. side which made the game unplayable for about 2 and a half weeks, I finally got it fixed (with no help from BW) and then they did a major patch and it messed up gameplay so badly I wasn't able to play for another 2 weeks until this most recent fix. Essentially I haven't really been able to play for a month by no fault of my own irrelevant of downtimes... that's the issue I'm having, not the actual downtime, but the fact that it went from "ok I can bear to play this" to "umm, nope" and essentially lost a month of potential playtime that I paid for. I would like complete compensation for the entire game (CE and 6months paid), however I simply feel gullible for having purchased it and don't expect a refund, and for that I will never buy another EA/BW game again, ever.

there is no hope for this game I feel as far as world PvP goes, it's just too far gone... however, there is hope in the game DOMINUS that is currently in development, check it out!!

have you looked at anything about the game in six months? should I ever bother to try and have an intelligent back and forth with you about it?

my solution is that I'm going to forget PvP for this game and play DOMINUS when it comes out for real PvP...

you folks need to check out the game DOMINUS coming out later this year by the sounds of your various issues and gripes!

DOMINUS is going to be the place for open world PvP...

I stopped playing for a couple weeks until you did your major update, now I'm having more issue with the game than I did previously....how did these issues get past testing in the first place? ....the fact that they did does not give me any confidence that subsequent "testing" will provide better results...also, you need to do a full tuesday update to update the test servers, that seems very inconvenient and a slow way to do things.

yeah....all this talk of bringing story to MMO....all of the stories I've played so far, all the subplots and little quests...seriously bad writing/story-telling, at least george lucas' bad writing had good story behind it, these all just are lame...and then add the dialogue 'options' system and, ugh...horrid

hilarious want good PvP?...DOMINUS should do it right, not out yet but in the works for later in the year...

took me several levels to see the 'keybindings' option, I kept going CRAZY that the binds were not customizable and that there was no auto-run...

I'm tired of people saying "it's an MMO there are going to be problems", well duh, but then there is inexcusable stuff like crap UI options and oh you know, the whole PvP fiasco...their beta-testing was a joke, they barely listened to their testers and neglected to find things out that very well could have been found out and addressed prior to release if they'd simply had half a clue and cared about anything besides being able to market and make money.

you should be mad, at yourself, for never learning reading comprehension...maybe try and re-read it and see what important detail you may have missed (like the fact that they say it may take up to 7 days for it to appear.)

They'd have to completely redesign from the ground up. This game is WHOLLY designed to NOT be conducive to open-world PvP. Making an entire zone PvP and calling that zone a planet and therefore calling it world PvP is an absolute joke and shows they have NO CLUE on how to do open world PvP. You should check out DOMINUS which will be out later this year, it looks like it will have the sort of meaningful, open PvP that you desire.

should have all been done and taken care of prior to release inexcusable though, I know your greed knows no bounds and you just wanted the money ASAP/before 2011's end and didn't care about anything else more than that

I asked in beta...still no response, wouldn't really expect one, but it would be nice to know why they decided to do it this way . I figure the answer to the "why?" questions for this game are ultimately coming down to "because they suck at making games and don't care."
