I wanted to give this a bump, but also discuss my experience for AL so far: I recently moved to this server from a PvP one to start enjoying the raid aspects of the game, until about 2 months ago I had practically ignored this aspect of the game entirely. It was mostly just leveling characters and PvP. I brought over only one of my characters to this server and started fresh with a trooper\healer as my new main. AL has taken me in, helped me learn what I need to know, assisted with me with running through raids to get gear and to watch me and help tweak my skills within the raids. I've now started to become part of a regular raid group and am having a blast with it. The guild has been very gracious and patient with me (PvPer noob mistakes sometimes in raids lol). Again I want to thank AL for a being a great guild and encourage others who maybe looking a for a raid guild to come check us out.

I'm a recent addition to the guild, and must say it's filled with an awesome assortment of guys and gals.

I did the pre-order the day it hit, not really worried or upset it will now be free. I would be upset if I had paid for a 50-70 dollar expansion and they gave it away only a few months later. If they ever do release a "high cost" expansion, I would be wary of it due to their actions with Hutt Cartel, but if they keep wit the model of a 9 Dollar expansion then free 6 months+ later, don't think I will worry about it as much.

Only times I see people who get kicked are the ones who constantly don't listen. CC breakers being the worst.

Most I have seen have already been mentioned. The one that bothers me the most is when they ask to kill XYZ boss for their class quest on a non-starter planet. Jedi Knights are notorious for this on Coruscant for example, and their final boss fight, seen people spam for help with that on the fleet..... Not only have they potentially spoiled the story for someone, in most cases they are several levels lower than they need to be for the fight and are begging for help because they don't want to wait to level or are space bar kings. Scrubs like these turn into bad 50s if they make it that far. My Ignore / Ban from raids list is getting larger every week it seems. I can tolerate person's newness to MMOs or this game to a degree, but not lazy. Too lazy to level, do bonus missions, pay attention to tutorials, read up on subject matter on the net or the forums.... well I'm to lazy to give a damn about you then.

Welp have fun with other games if that is where you are headed. I took a few months off from this game to try out a few others but eventually ended up back here, just like this game more then I realized I guess.

Your behavior as a Jedi Knight will have a impact at the very end of your class story.

Doesn't matter when you have a small pool of talent drowning in bads. I don't pvp on my 50 tank so i don't know how that bracket is yet, but my shadow I am working on has to compensate for players 20-30 levels above my level 15 becuase they suck harder then a hoover. If it's different in the 50 bracket that is good to hear, the pre-50 bracket is pretty bad with a few exceptions.

Not really their fault so many pubs suck at pvp. Like that on several servers from what I have seen.

Other thing to look out for is there are groups talking, but jsut in say or emote chat as they are in character. You will see that around the rep fleet bar sometimes, bumped into a few groups or events the same way.

Yes how many times in beta did they say we were testing out things they would add back in later? Yeah they took advantage of it with the market place, but they stated a lot of what we messed around with would not be in release. Content and items were removed before release. Republic Reconstruction quest area being removed from Taris as an example of content being removed if you need an example of that.

Bought it, it's 10 bucks, don't care about any issues on how it was done or whatever the debate is around here on it. House, car, food bills, family to take care of... 10 bucks is nothing compared to everything else in my life.
