You aren't "evolved", you're a regular everyday person. The whole you can't see more than 27.5 or 28 or 30 fps myth is just that, a myth, complete and utter lie. As someone mentioned earlier tv and movies run at a much lower fps and look fluid due to motion blurring. Video games don't have that and as such need a higher fps to look fluid. It's been proven time and time again that people can see much higher than 30fps, I think some have even gone as high as 200fps, though admittedly that's rather rare..

With the new Scroll of Resurrection, you get one character automatically leveled up to 80. You also get 7 days and the entire Cataclysm expansion for free if you didn't already have it.

From a single server that wouldn't be much of a loss, but it depends on how many actually are low pop. If the doom cryers are right and 80% of the servers are very low pop, that would be a HUGE financial loss. But just 5 or so, wouldn't.

Well results are pretty much the same with vsync on or off. Avg of 55 with dips down to 50. Fleet on the other hand runs a pretty consistent 75-80. Everywhere else still gets around 100 which is pretty much the limit. Can it be better? Of course. Is it still "broken"? Hell no.

I play windowed mode, so my max fps is only 60..a 10fps drop is almost impossible to notice at that level, so it's still smooth. And my computer specs are in my sig. Edit: I think I'm gonna try a few warzones later today on fullscreen with vsync turned off, see what I can get with that.

Well, I've done about a dozen warzones now, and I havent had my FPS drop below 50, and this is with every graphics option on max. Not sure how well it'll do with large word PVP battles, but for now looks like everything is running great, at least for me.

Only have a lvl7 toon on PTR, but I can say spamming your bags has 0 effect on fps. That's a good sign. Have yet to see if theres any improvement with large groups of people fighting.

I've been on Harbinger since Crevasse City died. It's not just the trial weekend, that server is always full.

If WoW is any indication, they'll never leave. Oh well, they're entertaining at least.

If you thought they were adding new races, that's your own fault. BW has been crystal clear on what they were and were not doing with races in 1.2.

D3 has gotten bad reviews from the latest round of beta because of all the changes they've made in past year or so. There's also the fact its NOT AN MMO. ffs you can only have 4 people in one game, even D2 had more than that.

And why exactly would they crash into things? Every Miraluka "sees" with the force, its a species thing. Doesn't mean they all have to be Jedi. A Miraluka BH is entirely plausible.

What exactly is the point of that? Earnings call was on Feb 4, with numbers from end of January. Conference was on March 8, with numbers from end of February. What you just posted has NO bearing on anything I've said. When he says they are two months into launch that means they've hit the two month mark, ie Feb 20. Which means the number is from after that point. But at least the investor report doesn't ignore half the server.

Oh god, not this again... **Note: whenever I refer to total server population or total population in here , it is the total population of 7 planets + fleet + 3 warzones, not the actual server population. IT'S NOT THE ENTIRE SERVER, ITS ONLY ABOUT HALF OF THE ZONES I wish people would stop using things like this in ways they aren't meant to be used. It's like Torstatus all over again.

Read on and you get to this: "We're two months into the launch, a lot more to go, but 1.7 million, vast majority now, are recurring subscribers." 1.7M are recurring which means add in the free trials and it's over 1.7M. And neither of those numbers include the people from the Asia/Pacific launch.

Considering the 1.7M is only people paying and not free trials, it most certainly is bigger than that.
