im taking a similar route. instead of giving the game 6 months of playing to get it right. i cancelled and if the game is still around in 6 months i may give it another go.

more like, if only 10 reps are in ilum: only allow..12ish imps. etc. maybe not exactly 1 for 1 but managable odds.

and yet (and i dont want to defend wow too much, it did get steadily worse) that game's subscriptions continued to rise for years. it is difficult to really compare swtor and wow, i think wow has had such an impact on the mmo market that honest comparisons are impossible. but just because it is and will be more difficult for new games to be successful doesnt mean im going stick with a game im not enjoying just because the playerbase is harder to appease

canceled today. because of pvp. maybe they'll make some radical fixes in the next 3 weeks and I'll resub. I'm not holding my breath.
