lmao u know how many MMOs dont use damage meters and do fine?? a lot of them... i played FFXI for 5+ years and there were no damage meters, no dungeon finders etc and the game was full of intelligent players who actually knew their classes from trial and error instead of just being hand-fed everything.... so the game doesnt NEED damage meters to be a success, it needs a good community

GRATS!!! im just about 30 and i am also having a great time wish PvP was bracketed, bc the Empire on my server loves to run a guild of 50s w PvP gear and rolls the Republic side a ton but meh glad to hear ppl are enjoying the game as much as me!! about the queue though

Here is what you could do: 1) go home after your long "working" 2) turn on computer/lap top 3) log in, get in queue 4) go fix something to eat/pay attention to your wife/husband/gf/bf/kid/dog/cat/plant etc that you are about to ignore for the next few hours while you play 5) when queue is finished, begin to ignore ^ 6) be happy! geesh plus $15 is going out to the movies one time, so if you play the game for more than 2 hours (which is the average time for a movie) than bam, made money!

Solid launch (best i've been in!) loving the game and actually have withdrawal when im at work not playing it (but on the forums ) only complaint is the laggy Taris and the random lag spikes i've been gettin since the launch update!!! but they r bugs that i can suffer through and know they will be fixed soon!!!

so basically, i have to re-spec to get more efficient leveling going? and rush to nar and get my 3rd companion? how well does the kinetic tree do for leveling? im not really the infiltration type of player, i was only looking to tank/hybrid dps with my shadow, not be all sneaky/backstabby

Hey all I am looking for some ideas/opinions as well as experience as questing/leveling as a shadow. I like to play solo for quests etc, but i am finding i have a really hard time trying to kill elites/groups of strongs as a balance shadow at lvl 24. (0/0/15 for skills) my gear is good-ish, i have a few orange with up-to-date mods and as i am synthweaving, my gear is = to or above what should be. Now i have been using c2-n2 as a healer when im out there, but he really seems to suck.... his heals do next to nothing for me and his damage is not existent. so i was hoping to hear what other people have been doing and what they have been accomplishing. PS- what skill rotations have you been focusing on while trying to kill mobs; trash, strong, elites?

This game is about the journey NOT the destination so if you are in it to rush to 50 and play end game, then i am pretty sure its the wrong game for you right now, maybe in the future, with some content updates and expansions, they will evolve the end game stuff, but BW has said this game is about the story and right now the story is about going from level 1 to 50 and developing your character and being a part of the universe they have created. so if you are all about end game (the destination) then prolly not the right game if you are about the story (the journey) and in the future the end game, then yes

SR also said that the condensed dates of wave 1 was due to the size/amount of pre-orders then, so its more likely that the dates for each wave in the next coming days are going to be a little wide.... ie July to Sept Aug to Nov etc but i think BW is doing a good job so far and i think that the long delay between the last wave today and the first wave tmo was to assess the stability and strength of the servers after 24 hours so they can get more ppl in over the next few days edit: my personal guess, i have no real evidence for it, but a feeling, is that everyone will be in by Saturday, so that everyone who pre-order will get 2 days in, before the real launch on the 20th

all i can say is GOOD! sick of ppl acting like morons/trolls bc its the internet and bc there are no consequences to their actions maybe if more games did this instead of just bending over backwards for anyone who would drop a dime on their games, the internet community might be a little more stomach-able but im just a dreamer i guess

Meh, i dont mind either i have been watching some ppl play live over stream and checkin my email, but i pre-ordered a lil late, bc i wanted to play the beta first and not pre-order based on faith/screenshots plus i have this thing called a life; gf, friends, dogs, hobbies, other video games, TV and job that take up my time, so ill play when i can but since the game doesnt actually LAUNCH for another 6 days, im not that upset that im not playing it yet..... as IT DOESNT LAUNCH FOR ANOTHER 6 DAYS!!! see you all in game!
