  1. I also cannot get the code to work. I put in the code on the redeem code page, check the accept terms box, hit continue, and the page just blinks, clears the accept terms checkbox and greys out the continue button. No error message, no confirmation, no acceptance of the code, nothing. I hit SUPPORT from my account page, which only brings me to an EA page that says their support page is broken. This is the URL I get after I hit Continue when trying to submit my code: https://swtor.checkout.ea.com/lockbox-ui/checkout/redeemCode/showPostConfirm?productId=2&code=LotSKrovos&isValidationRequired=false&captchaEnabled=false&isPromotionalTextEnabled=true&userMail=<my email>&gameTimeCardRedeem=false (obviously I replaced my email listed in the URL with <my email> for security reasons)
  2. Three years later and it's still bugged with no meaningful reply from BioWare It definitely appears to be a respawn issue/bug. The only work-around, WITHOUT having to threaten Tseekoli, appears to be to wait until there's a low population on Mek-Sha and transfer to the PVP instance (which frequently is empty, at least in my experience) and hope you are the only one doing the quest in the PVP instance so you're the first to click it until the instance empties out and is "reset". Technically this would also work with a PVE instance, but it's a LOT harder because we can't force a second PVE instance to appear, and it's difficult to be the only one on the PVE instance, especially since they've consolidated servers. To BioWare: quit having your devs look for bugs in isolated instances/dev-environments when players are saying this might be a respawn issue, because of COURSE you won't be able to replicate the bug then.
  3. Looks like this still will not be fixed in the 7.2.1b patch on 4/25/23
  4. This one has been a problem since we were first able to create our own chat channels. I don't know about other servers, but Star Forge has a couple of "global" player-created channels, and my entire chat box is completely spammed all day every day by "xxx has joined yyy channel" "xxx has left yyy channel" - it's a constant stream. Most infuriating about this is these messages are lumped in with "System Feedback" so you can't just eliminate the chat join/leave messages without eliminating other important system info you want to keep tabs of like READY CHECKS during a raid. There is no reason the channel join/leave messages can't be tagged as something like Channel Info, and then give us a toggle in our chat settings to filter that out. Why this hasn't been remedied over the years I will never know, but this channel spam needs to stop! Even better would be the ability to choose which channels we wanted to block the join/leave messages, and which ones to leave on. Perhaps the toggle for Channel Info would automatically apply ONLY to channels you have selected for that chat tab. For example if I have a chat tab that contains the channels SisterGuild and BrotherGuild, and I have Channel Info toggled on, I would only see channel join/leave messages for those two channels, and not for a third channel called RaidStars that I don't listen to in that chat tab. Please stop the channel spam! Give us a channel filter that isn't shackled together with actual system feedback that we want/need to see. 🙏
  5. I also have this same bug. I have PH4-LNX as my companion, have done her quests, have turned in GAME modules to her, done the True Purpose conquest missions, claimed GAME reputation, increased my influence with her, etc. etc. etc. But when I go to my Cartel Collections to try and unlock her for my other characters, the collections says I do not have her AT ALL (despite the fact that she's my companion and standing right next to me), and thus does not give me any option to purchase the unlock. @Shayddow it is not required to have her at influence level 50 in order to have the cartel unlock option. I really would like to see this bug acknowledged and fixed before the season ends! Other possibly pertinent info: I have PH4-LNX on my Jedi Consular Sage - I do not recall if I claimed PH4-LNX before reaching level 80 or not I have NOT done the Training in the Force (dual spec) quest yet
  6. Related to this: Can we please have Felix Iresso stop imitating Aric Jorgen and using his voice for certain statements? (He likes to use Jorgen's voice for such statements as "The battlefield is the best teacher" and "You got this!"). I mean, I know he's had his mind severely messed with, but every time he uses Jorgen's voice, I want to turn around and slap him. He really doesn't deserve that kind of abuse after what he's been through , so help a poor soldier boy out, would ya?
  7. I did all kinds of searches and came up empty.. finally found the updated post here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9253564 Of course I stumbled on that while looking for something completely different
  8. Can someone please point me to where the updated drop list is? Or can Eric please update this thread to reflect the current drops? (because I know Soa drops the off-hand now, not implant/ear)
  9. The Tier 4 command crates are bugged for tanks. The Tier 4 crates award incorrect relics for Jedi Guardian and Vanguard tanks, giving us dps/healing relics (such as Serendipitous Assault and Focused Retribution) instead of tanking relics (such as Shield Amplification and Reactive Warding). Command crates below Tier 4 are working correctly.
  10. Personally, and along the lines of what Bant did, I'd just update this thread with the new findings, and update the original post (like you did before) with an update date and note saying it's and update for X version. It's much easier to keep track of the changes in one thread (which people likely have bookmarked), rather than changing the thread for each minor version and having to track down which thread is the most current. Just my 2 credits worth of input on the subject
  11. Closing the loophole was why I understood the reason for the change (unlike most, I'm not opposed to BW/EA making money), but I don't know why they couldn't have applied the additional part - unlocking it for those who have the account-wide unlocks (which I'm glad to see they will do in August, though August now can't get here soon enough) - at the same time so there would be no unhappiness from those of us doing it "right". Thank you for posting a reply with the note about the August fix - greatly appreciated!
  12. Quote: Character bound Color Crystals and Weapon Tunings from the Cartel Market (direct sale or packs) can no longer be moved across characters via Legacy Weapons. On one hand I understand a reason for this change, but on the other hand I don't see why you would suddenly backhand all of your player base who have multiple toons using the legacy weapons/offhands as intended, when we've paid real cash for crystals/tunings to have our characters look the way we want. Why make the legacy weapons/offhands essentially bound to a single character IF we have paid to unlock said crystals/tunings for our entire account? Please change this so that Legacy Weapons and Offhands can be transferred ONLY IF the equipped cartel crystal/weapon tuning is/are unlocked account-wide. Otherwise you have completely defeated the purpose of legacy weapons/offhands, as well as the ability to allow us players to customize the aesthetic look of our characters.
  13. Here's the bug report I placed in game, as it's not just a label issue, but the original item is no longer listed in the decorations list and therefore we can not decorate our strongholds with it: The original Luxury Wall Sconce, found in both the Luxury Decoration Bundle (page 1 of decorations) and sold by itself (page 7 of decorations) on the Cartel Market, can no longer be previewed, nor found in the Personal/Guild Decorations lists for placement in our strongholds. There is another decoration named Luxury Wall Sconce in the personal/guild decorations list, but it is of Zakuulan design (looking VERY different from the original luxury wall sconce), and is from the Eternal Command Pack. Could we please have the newer one (from the Eternal Command Pack) renamed to Zakuul Luxury Wall Sconce, and have the original (from the Luxury Decoration Bundle) Luxury Wall Sconce restored back to the deco list so that those of us who own the original ones can decorate our strongholds with them once again? As it stands now, you're asking for people to spend real money/cartel coins on the Cartel Marketplace for an item which can neither be seen nor used in any way. This bug/issue is still present on May 4, 2017, and it looks like the OP of this thread was from back in December of 2016.
  14. Thanks for the information! Found the issue I was having with the links as well, and now everything is fixed. *whew!*
  15. I need help with my account but all the support links here lead to unloadable pages, the contact us link goes to an unloadable page, even when I go simply to http://www.ea.com and try to go to help or even MY ACCOUNT there, unloadable page (obviously EA has borked part of their web site). So where can I get help with my account? There's not even a phone number listed on the SWTOR site for me to contact...
  16. Could we please get a slider bar in our preferences for the chat panel fade out timer? With the Pillage and Plunder patch it seems like my chat panel is taking much longer to fade away. I'd love for us to have an option to set the idle time for how soon the panel will begin to fade if we have selected the fade out option in our preferences. Perhaps in a slider bar fashion similar to, and possibly next to, the Alpha setting for the chat panel that is currently in our preference options. Thanks for considering our ideas.
  17. This bug is still happening in game - very frustrating when we pay to look a certain way (outfit designer tabs, color dyes, etc.) and it does not stick. In addition, could we get an updated post on Known Bugs for 4.0? Last update to that post was October of last year. A quarterly update does not seem too much to ask...
  18. For myself, as the original poster to this thread, yes, the items were ones I myself crafted. Either way, if the item says it can be reverse engineered, you SHOULD get some form of material back for reverse engineering the item (this is how it's suppose to work since BETA). Whether or not you can learn a pattern from it is a separate issue altogether and has no bearing on receiving materials back - except in this case where it's broken/bugged and not giving you materials from Reverse Engineering items that are ineligible for pattern upgrades. I've even found instances where I have crafted an augment, but then cannot Reverse Engineer the augment I crafted with the toon who crafted it.
  19. A few suggestions to make our lives better and the game a little more balanced: 1. PLEASE let us sort the Companions frame and the Crew Skills frame! I love the addition of so many new companions - it adds a lot of variety to the game to see people running around with so many different companions! However, with the amount of new companions introduced since 4.0, and those yet to come in Fallen Empires as the new chapters are released, the companions list has become completely unwieldy. Part of the problem can be alleviated or at least reduced by allowing us to sort the companions - both on the Crew Skills frame and the Companions frame - preferably with the following sort options: Name, Influence level, Role. If we can't sort the list ourselves, or by this many fields, at the very least please have the game sort the companions by influence level from highest to lowest. Having the companions sorted as such will allow us to more easily identify who our strongest companions are (for either crafting or for combat), and which ones we need to work on more. 2. Please give us an indicator on the Companions frame to mark which companions are busy on missions. I cannot count the number of times I've accidentally canceled a crew skill mission/crafting queue in progress because I summoned the companion not realizing they were busy with a crew skill. Please give us a clear indicator on the Companions frame marking companions who are out on missions. With the vast number of companions available now, it's unwieldy to have to scroll through the companion frame for the summoning button, and then have to scroll through the same list, but even more unwieldy, on the crew skill frame to double-check if they are free or busy on a mission. Ideally I'd like to see the summoning button back on the Crew Skills frame like it use to be, but even so, we need a "Busy" indicator on the Companions frame to help avoid canceling missions by mistake. 3. Please put the influence wheel on the Crew Skills frame. The influence bar below the companion portraits is insufficient, and any crafter with two brain cells to rub together is going to want to know which companions have the highest influence to produce the best results. The influence wheel on the Companions frame is a wonderful at-a-glance indicator - but it'd be more useful to see it on the Crew Skills frame. 4. Please remove the requirement of slicing from all the advanced craftable items. This has to be one of the worst balancing issues to come out of 4.0. No one crew skill should trump all others - which slicing has become since you can't do any advanced item crafting without it. If you want to introduce co-dependence for advanced crafting items, there's a better way to do it (see #5 below) 5. Introduce blue quality bonding components. Rebalance crafting for all the crew skills by introducing blue quality bonding components that require blue quality mission items from the primary symbiotic mission crew skill, and from 2 secondary mission skills. These would replace the slicing items that are currently needed. Example mission crew skill pairings for blue bonding components: Armormech Bonding Agent (Underworld, Treasure Hunting, Slicing): 2 cloth, 2 metal, 4 gems, 4 slicing parts (i.e. 2 Lashaa Silk, 2 Mullinine, 4 Marilite, 4 Augmentation Chip) Synthweaving Bonding Agent (Underworld, Diplomacy, Slicing): 2 cloth, 2 metal, 4 medical supplies, 4 slicing parts Cybertech Bonding Agent (Underworld, Investigation, Slicing): 2 cloth, 2 metal, 4 compounds, 4 slicing parts Artificing Bonding Agent (Treasure Hunting, Underworld, Diplomacy): 4 gems, 2 cloth, 2 metal, 4 medical supplies Biochem Bonding Agent (Diplomacy, Treasure Hunting, Investigation): 4 medical supplies, 4 gems, 4 compounds Armstech Bonding Agent (Investigation, Diplomacy, Slicing): 4 compounds, 4 medical supplies, 4 slicing parts An advanced item could then require something like 1 artifact (purple) mission item, 2 blue bonding agents, 4 green bonding components (i.e. cell grafts), and 2 crew skill vendor materials (i.e. flux). This would revitalize the need for ALL mission items (giving much needed help to the investigation skill in the process!), help keep the crew skills in balance with each other, and help level the market value between crafting materials. I hope you will give these suggestions some consideration and work on implementing them. I think they would alleviate a lot of complaints with the new influx of companions, and help balance the crafting portion of the game as well.
  20. I knew about the parcels, I was looking for the trees again and that part is what appeared to be broken, and I thought that I remembered the droids spawning was more scattered/random last year (instead of them ALL popping at once and then ALL disappearing at the same time), but I must have remembered incorrectly. Of course, this could also have been affected by the lack of people chucking snowballs this early, as it seems to have finally straightened itself out. Now I just need to wait for the snowball tank and canon to show up...
  21. It appears the Life Day Event is bugged on Coruscant on the Ebon Hawk Server. The gift droids ALL appear, stand around for a couple minutes, then ALL disappear. And none appear to be going into the overheated state. Please look into this? I want my new toys for this year! (I've been a really good girl, really I have!)
  22. Zenith now loves Military Gear, favors Underworld Good and Weapons, and has no "likeable" gifts. So they did some shuffling on him. The most disappointing thing is removing the imperial memorabilia as ONLY Zenith and Ensign Temple loved those. I really wish they would have mentioned in the patch notes that they were changing around which gifts each companion liked/favored/loved - now I'm paranoid and going to have to try and check ALL the companions again. I never saw mention of any of this in the patch notes. If they're going to change something like this on us, a heads up in the patch notes would REALLY help! Hopefully 4.0.2a will fix this issue with Zenith?
  23. Bug Report: Reverse Engineering not working properly. There is currently a bug with reverse engineering items you craft. When I reverse engineer an item I have crafted, and the tooltip says No Research Available (but that it IS reverse engineerable), I will occasionally get some of my materials back as normal, but most of the time the reverse engineering bugs and I get an ERROR message saying: "No reverse engineering information for item '<item name here>'." and I receive NO materials back even though it destroyed my item - and yes, it's the same named item that's gone both ways with the reverse engineering. This is not how it's suppose to work. This inconsistancy is highly frustrating and a waste of our time/materials, especially when the only way to get Augmentation Slot Components is to Reverse Engineer stuff we craft, and we need ten of them to make one augment kit. Please fix this bug so us crafters can get back to providing goods to people that can't be obtained elsewise.
  24. I've had this bug on a number of characters as well, and reported it originally in game on 10-29-2015. I've refused to talk to him/recruit him on other characters until this bug is fixed, as the bugged flag does change how he interacts with you.
  25. Bug Report: Broken Coloring on Agents/Smugglers On both my Agent and my Smuggler toon, if you have a dye in your chest piece and it's on your Outfit Designer first tab (active), EVERY time you teleport or load into a new zone (i.e. going from your ship to a planet/orbital station, hopping between your Strongholds, teleporting to a companion/contact's location, etc.) your clothes change color. On my agent, she has a crafted Black/Red dye in her chest piece. When she teleports/loads into a new zone it will change from Black/Red to Red/Black and the next time she loads into a new area it will change again to being undyed. It cycles through those options every time she jumps zones. My smuggler has the Black/Yellow dye from the Collector's Edition vendor in his chest piece, and his goes from Black/Yellow to undyed and back again when he jumps zones while having the Outfitter Tab 1 active. You can correct the color temporarily by activating another outfit and switching back, but as soon as you jump zones again your clothes change color, so it's not really a fix. Additional info: 1. The bug does not happen if you do not have an outfitter tab active (i.e. your actual worn gear is your active set). 2. Both of my affected toons have only the first outfitter tab purchased. (I don't know if this is an issue with just the first tab) 3. Both my Agent and my Smuggler are of the healing spec (Medicine/Sawbones). 4. Agent/Smuggler appear to be the only classes affected. 5. The color change is also present/can be seen at the Character Selection screen I know Agents and Smugglers are shifty characters in general, but their clothes color shouldn't be - not when we're paying for our characters to look a specific way.
