  1. To be honest, I'm not even impressed by the content itself - ridiculously low amount of it that there is. Meet Kaliyo, watch Kaliyo do Kaliyo dumbf**k stuff, BIG MORAL CHOICE about kicking puppies or not, Kaliyo sticks around whichever way you decide....entirely forgettable, especially with the self-renewing, irritating-as-hell slows that make the whole "chapter" feel three times as tedious as it actually is. Oh, and some more bugged-up missions that won't disappear from the alliance alerts, that I can't activate and....oh, wait - another fetch-quest to (re)gain a companion I already had! This is three months' work? Really? A team of monkeys could type Shakespeare faster!
  2. You're rather missing the point of the Banite Sith Order. If and when an apprentice becomes strong enough to slay their Master, the Master views it as a triumph, not a defeat.
  3. I chose Dorne - her obsession with forms and procedures can be put to use, that way (instead of irritating me no end in the field). Jorgen always seemed to prefer action.
  4. SWTOR has a full server? Just wait a month, at the rate people are dropping.
  5. Translation: "Too bad, suckers! We might fix it next month, we might not....till then, you can't get Lokin back! -trollface-" Seriously, it's bloody appalling - the dev team gets 6 weeks off, in a block, each year. What other kind of non-seasonal business just shuts its doors for a month or more at a time, then expects the customers to stay loyal?
  6. Bioware/EA are just too fat, lazy and stupid to do anything right, when it comes to SWTOR. It's almost like they've just written the game off. Oh, wait: they have, what with EA developing its own title for Star Wars.
  7. So the incompetence is on management side. It's still incompetence.
  8. Wow. So, let's take stock of recent changes: 1) All your old companions taken away, replaced with second-rate wannabes who have zero connection to your storyline. 2) Some of your old companions (but NOT all) "may" come back later, but if they do, they'll be gated behind others you have to unlock; now 3) Unlocking one is now no longer possible, because BioWare can't run an event that they've run a dozen times before without f*****g it up. Welp, now I regret resubbing at the last minute to enjoy KOTFE. So much potential for awesome storytelling, ruined by Bioware's incompetence and arrogance.
  9. How many attendees do you expect on this dying server? 5? 10? I must commend your loyalty.
  10. Mmm, no. TEH is on life-support, and I strongly suspect it'll be merged soon. Mind you, the way SWTOR's shedding players, there may not be many servers left for it to merge into soon...but of course Bioware can't be bothered with that. Gotta release the latest reskinned Cartel Market rubbish, after all!
  11. Remember - in Fallen Empire, the only times that the Emperor can control you is when you let him. Let's face it - if he could assume control against your will, he'd do so. Planet-eating abominations are not, as a rule, known for respecting the mental integrity of their hosts - which means he can't do it unless you agree to it. This is borne out by what says after he :
  12. The Empire broke the treaty - the Sith Warrior storyline, Chapter 2, is all about that. There were skirmishes and proxy wars beforehand (i.e., the Republic trying to recruit Imperial defectors, the Empire sending ships to kidnap Republic agents), but general warfare wasn't happening until Darth @##$$!@#$!! Baras mucked it all up for everyone.
  13. Too much effort for Bioware to actually have your character voiced. Then again, it seems to be too much effort for Bioware to do ANYTHING relating to SWTOR. But they're damn happy to take peoples' money!
  14. No - the level of Force sensitivity you are born with is what you will have for the duration of your life (barring certain accidents that might make it go down). Next question, please.
  15. I'll put one inbetween each of their eyes, given the chance. Frankly, they both are not only cruel and vicious, but liabilities. Mind you, I think the end of SWTOR will come before we're past about Ch.15 or so. Between the announced schedule - 4 months to make 20min of playtime - and the inevitable slippage, I'm over SWTOR.
  16. She could also decide that she's bored, and blow up a chunk of your base for the lulz.
  17. /signed, for all the good it will do. Bioware's track record of listening to people (*coughMassEffect3cough*) isn't that great in recent years.
  18. Does it matter? We'll die of old age before finding out - one 10-minute "chapter" in five months is just pathetic, even from Bioware's established low standards. Kotfe had me resubbing, then I found out that it's that slow...what does Bioware have on the storyline team, one writer and a half-dozen monkeys typing Shakespeare?
  19. He didn't want to be. Malgus despised politics, preferring direct action under all circumstances.
  20. And I suppose you want a brace of unicorns afterward? That's about as likely as Bioware giving a tinker's curse about what their customers want.
  21. Pffft, like Bioware would bother. The only think they move their behinds on is cartel-market stuff. Pay up, little suckers...oops, I mean "valued customers".
  22. Why is a big increase in hook allowances limiting? It's not like flagships contribute points toward conquest as strongholds do! But in any case, it's a moot point - we'll see snow on Tatooine before Bioware pays a blind bit of attention to such unimportant people as the customers. They'll do what they want to do, when and how they want to do it, and all that us peons can do is take their s**t and pay them for the privilege....or just decide that SWTOR's not for us. It'd be the first thing STAR WARS-related that I'd walked away from in 20 years, but...you can only take so much crud before getting fed up.
  23. So only PvPers should be able to meet their conquest goals? Good to know, *******.
  24. You should be able to solo silver and/or gold mobs at appropriate levels as is...in fact, you're required to for many world/class missions. The purpose of the level-sync, AFAIK, is to make visiting low-level planets somewhat less....boring than it is now. And frankly, it -is- kind of boring. Perhaps I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who's had to mindlessly shoot his way through WAY too many Death Mark conquest events, but I was getting sick of the sight of Nar Shaddaa. No stimulation, no challenge, no effort - just staying glued to the screen. I cautiously approve of level-sync, although I think it could be improved by making it optional rather than mandatory. Incidentally, level-sync is one of the -few- changes I don't hate, per my post on another thread:
  25. Well done, Bioware. Well done. You are progressing beautifully in answering the question "Just how pathetic do we have to be before we can turn STAR WARS into a money-loser?" I've been subbed since launch - just cancelled due to this blatant, obscene cash-grab. And since I am of the philosophy that any gaming company is only as good as its last transaction, I'll be particularly wary about purchasing any other Bioware/EA products. So, yes - do keep reaching deeper and deeper into your customers' pockets, giving them less and less in return. Any idiot who sticks with you afterward richly deserves all they get. Adios.
