  1. At least Blizzard was smart enough to make this crap optional.
  2. 1. I had to choose dark dialogue options just to get rid of companions i don't care about. (Arcan and his mommy BS in first chapter). 2. My mercenary who has nothing to do with the force is stuck in Valcs force games and DvL idiocity. Chosen cliche in general. 3. Walker "new" "gameplay" that is not optional. 4. Top menu design fail. 5. Stuck with Lana Failiko as a companion for too long. 6. Cutscene camera angles showing us all these terrible textures. (Never payed that much attention to this before, so im not sure if its just me or their bad design decisions). 7. 250k credits for a companion gift... even half of that is way too much. 8. Waves of... not only skytroopers.
  3. No and no. Alliance ranks doesn`t affect game progress at all. There are no reasons to grind it right now. It just gets higher and higher as i progress through the game. High companion influence is not needed right now. All soloable objectives can be achieved with lvl 10 influence or even lower. You can do it just for fun as there is no use for basic coms anyway.
  4. Level sync still makes it possible to outlevel any content. For example if you will outlevel Yavin 4 (level 58 story area turned into "challenging" daily zone for outgeared 60's) game will sync your maximum level to 62 (4 levels higher). If u will visit Hutta, you`ll notice that all mobs are grey and you are able to one-shot almost anything, same with any other planet. When you propose to turn off abilities, unsummon companions or use bad gear, you are talking about LIMITING the playstyle not the playstyle itself. In other words - all you say is "i don't want to be limited and forced but i want to limit other player's experience just because they presumably can do what i can't", kinda egoistic, don`t you think?
  5. First of all... What`s wrong with increasing difficulty just a little bit? Was Shadow of Revan challenging? Well... it was definetly harder then KOTFE but It wasn't challenging at all. The only piece of challenging content back then, that comes to mind, is soloing Commandant Jenarian. So what are you afrid of? You think that if game will be just a little bit harder you will fail? Even i think you are not that bad. Probably you will never see the difference. Majority wants it as it is bacause its kinda fun to see how your sidekick erases entire batallion of opponents with two shots. What will you think when it will get old. How will you play a game that doesn`t need you to participate? Second. About playing solo and experiencing storylines. Thats what i want. And i don`t really want it to be hard. All i'm interested in, is to make it believable and immersive. Now its not. When you are warned by the story (and im not talking about KOTFE only) that you are about to get into a big trouble you SHOULD get into trouble. When story tells you that you will fight with a group of "republic's finest" and in the end you just get a bunch of one-shotted puppets thats just wrong. When your companion is supposed to be a former slave and failed smuggler who got cought and you get a secret imperial superweapon that can threaten Republic's stability while you have a sandwinch thats wrong indeed. The current state of story in this game is a lie and that is what increasing difficulty can change. Third. Options. Noone is trying to take away anything from you. People experience problems. They want to talk about it. Everyone has an opinion. Relax. Fourth. Majority and loudmouth minority. Majority likes it as it is at least for now. Majority either likes it or doesn`t care. Majority is not even here on this forums. Majority will play, get bored and unsub... or maybe not! On the other side there are people who don`t like some changes and want to discuss. Yes, some of them don`t want to read forums and create the same topics over and over again. Thats annoying but thats what people do all the time. In the end, there is a loudmouth minority - those who are hiding behind "what majority wants" and trying to stop any conversation spamming it with the same hysterical and illogical garbage over and over agian.
  6. Some people want to play solo, some want to play in group. Soloing or grouping has nothing to do with difficulty setting. Some people want to overcome challenges alone and not interested in group/guild content. Considered by you? Challenging for you is easy for others. Some people think challenging is fun. Others think chellenging is annoying, people need options.
  7. I remember when the birthright kits were new, I was confused i can't just sell it and have to delete it. Maybe when you have 22 chars per server you can use these kits. But when you are fine with 2-3 chars you have and have enough money to support an alt you might create one day (especially with 12x and the fact that planet comms are absolutely useless now) these kits are trash.

First of all, leaving is not rage quitting its i-don't-care quitting, i personally call it "scrolling down" as it's like searching for news you like or some articles you want to read, u skip **** moving further. Ragers are bads trying to justify their own fails. They moan in chat, complain about leavers and premades, blacklist people, etc. Even come here with some ridiculous ideas. Penalizing and any other kind of forcing will never work. Some people will always find a way to abuse the system. Check WOW - bots, afkers, middle farmers, double def teams waiting for 15 mins to get their loss simply because they cant quit. U don't want this, im sure, and most of those who need penalties now will find a reason to complain after they`ll get it. I leave sometimes, overheal games mostly (dps fail on one side, overheal on another), don't care about leavers myself. Let people have fun, find your own fun. Can`t? Stop playing. Easy as that. Ranked games probably have to be penalized, with a warning in the beginning. U choose to play ranked - deal with consequences. Don't want to be penalized - play randoms.

Got Treek a month ago, was using her for two weeks on my slinger (55 dailies, levelling to 60, 60 dailies), switched back to Akaavi Spar, in situations where you need a healer (heroic 2 on Oricon, bounty week kingpins) your original healer will be better as Treek has only one good healing ability but it has 25 sec cd, another one is weak (heals for 2000 in full 186 gear) has 2 sec casting time and depends on positioning, as a tank she has problems with aoe tanking as her aoe abilities have low priority, normally she just hitting one mob while you are attacked by others. Wearing full 186 dps gear she does nearly two times less damage then Akaavi. In fact you don't really need a tank, u have your Defence screen and Dodge to avoid almost all damage. Treek isnt bad, and probably the best choice for levelling, at least to the point where you'll find out how your class works.

  12. You will see this type of playstyle in every warzone as soon as Bioware will give you deserter debuff you all moaning about. Get ready to report em all.
  13. Huttball is less about ballkicking and more about holding mid and keeping your ramp clean from pullers and passers. You need damage there too.
  14. I always liked these guys speaking about objectives to hide their incompetence (i`m not speaking about you personally). Tell me why all of my teammates deal less then 150k damage when we need only one or two guys to def (probably stealth or tanks). Just realise that damagedealer`s objective is dealing damage. You can kill cappers; come to help; interrupt, cc and kill enemy healers; protect guys who heal you; plant bombs; carry orbs and deal 300k+ damage at the same time almost in every warzone. Unfortunately most of them are running around like headless chickens or dancing around overhealed smashers. And then they come here to speak about objectives and whine about leavers and premades. Pathetic!
  15. You can bind abilities with the same mechanics to one key. Here is the example. I play Mercenary and Gunslinger so powershot=charged burst; death from above=freighter flyby; thermal detonator=sabotage charge etc. No you are not. Try binding and you`ll see the difference very soon. in fact you need good, easy to use binds only for your main abilities. 7-10 is more then enough. You can also try alt, shift or ctrl combinations. Or even move to ESDF from WASD to have access to more keys if you need it Yes
