  1. Wrong. You obviously live in the states. When you are sleeping and BW is patching we've just come home from work and looking forward to play. Saturday @ 2 PM, some weeks ago, not ideal. Friday from morning till lunch, then another downtime to fix what they set out to fix in the original patch. It's now almost 8 PM, Not ideal.
  2. You can look forward to keybinding 30+ abilities if you plan on tanking. And they all make perfect sense in what you are trying to achieve. Don't like it? Play something else, there's 9 other advanced classes to have fun with. I suggest you stick to mercenary if 13 buttons is too much.
  3. I believe the "op'ness" comes from being able to chug out too much burst healing. Healing Scan -> Rapid Scan -> Thermal Sensor Override + Power Surge -> Rapid Scan -> Emergency Scan. Assuming all spells in this rotation crits, which it often does, you'll be looking at +20k healing in 5 secs or so (depending on gear and alacrity values) and ending up at 0 heat in the end. Ontop of that you can still have a free Kolto shell on target ticking in the background. The other healing classes aren't able to do that. They all have different niches, and I for one wouldn't mind being tank spammer. Tho imo they went abit overboard with the proposed changes. It's no doubt going to be adjusted. We'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out when we go live.
  4. Surprised they didn't cut all healing in half while they were at it, and make so it didn't scale with aim/power ontop. I like it rough, no lube.
  5. Writing a ticket to complain about it... crew skill pop up, ticket gone!
  6. N and choose your preferred crewskill
  7. Jumps to a target, impaling it for 734 - 915 weapon damage. Strikes with both weapons if dual wielding. IF being the key word.
  8. Reusable stims/adrenals are biochem perks and should remain so. If they change that, there would be no use for biochems at all. Subsequently making all biochem schematics redundant. What need fixing is the mats required to make all the on use stuff. In it's current state it's cheaper to make epic implants than a blue stim. Implants sell for 30-150k on my server depending on mastercraft or not. A stim sells for 20k as an absolute max. Same with adrenals. And they require more or less the same mats. Another issue is crafting times. It takes me 20 minutes to make a blue quality stim/adrenal. I'm not going to spend 20 mins waiting to lose money. Alternatively could make the green ones persist through dead aswell, they only take 4 mins to make.
  9. Also had several slicing missions fail this week, even with Mako(+15 efficiency) doing them. Ticketed it twice and no reply yet, they are still open.
  10. Just this week I made 4 bracers before crit. Then 6 belts before crit. This was done with Jaessa which has +5 crit synthweaving
  11. Open for addons instead. then we can choose whatever we want of what's available. Not what you think we want or what a minority has given postive response to. This will also give you time to work on other things that actually needs fixing, like combat responsiveness, proffessions/crafting, about half the bosses currently ingame are still broken and needs workarounds to be killed. These are much more important issues.
  12. No threat meter. For retarded dps to know when to use their threat dump. No target of target. No proper focus target. No way of actually seeing any dispellable debuffs apart from blowing up the ops frames so big you can't see anything of what's going around you. No mouseover macros. No combatlogs. No way of knowing what actually killed you or where the dmg is coming from, either because missle travel time is off and you die before you actually die and the flytext doesn't show, or flytext is blocked by your release button. Messy flytext, numbers stacking ontop eachother. Blinding and annoying UI, to the point where it becomes a medical issue for some. Annoyingly small, alternatively REALLY BIG nameplates. Awful hotbar options, on the plus side you strengthen your neck muscles looking from right to left all the time. Clunky pet control, unless you have an olympic gold medal for finger acrobatics. No way of rebinding pet controls. Horrible horrible auctionhouse features. Annoying chat functions, where you can't have 2 convos going in /w without going out of your way and scroll click some name, or type in the persons name each time you want to answer. Mail system could also use some work. Like when you're sending several mails, you get booted back into inbox for each mail you send. Many small things that could've been fixed in week 2 if they only opened for addons. Instead we are test subjects, paying for playing what is effectively still a beta. You, or someone you know might think this is ok. On the other hand, I and many I know don't. And all points made about how/why addons are bad, is moot. Nobody's forcing you to use them. On the other hand that would also take some of the workload off BW which are obviously struggling. Making them able to focus on other stuff which clearly needs fixing, like every other bossfight. Itemization, and loot systems. Balancing out proffesions and crafting. And so on and so forth.
  13. It wasn't perfect to begin with, but this new design is just plain awful. The way to more clearly show what ability is on/off cd is not by blinding the player. It's just not working. I would strongly suggest you don't try to fix anything about anything at this stage. The more you touch the worse it gets. Solution: Open up for addons so other people can do you work for you for free and we'd end up with whatever we want, not what you want us to have, or whatever you think we'd like. Chances are we'd be satisfied and you get lot less of these whiney posts.
  14. Happens with all classes and specs. If my guarded target dies and I don't, it bugs on that same target until we both die. If I die and my guarded target doesn't, it also bugs until we both die. I get an error messsage saying "target is already guarded" when it clearly isn't, as I can guard any other group member, just not the same target that I had guarded in the first place upon either of us dieing.
  15. Orange all the way, RE them and use the same mats to make the same item which are now yellow, RE that and use the same mats to make the same item which now should green. Next tier, rinse repeat. Whole prossess is done in a matter of hours if you have the mats required. If you don't have the gathering skills for it, the price varies but you'd be looking at about 200-400k in total to max it with all mats bought.
  16. Not even the rakata weapons have their proper hilts/barrels, why should a proff then have it if it doesn't exsist? Besides the fact that Artifice already has rakata relics.
  17. Seem to get more investigation and diplomacy than the others. Drop rate is about same.
  18. You're partially wrong. Willpower/power scales with all our force attacks, including the barrier. Get the willpower datacrons, but don't choose gear with willpower.
  19. If retaliation procd off shielded attacks aswell, we'd propably get a cd/lockout on it aswell. Not sure what's best tbh. Not being able to use it on that one boss or it being clunky all the time.
  20. Same thing if you are ranged and open up with a channeled ability. Mob is engaged on keypress rather than after missile travel time. It's especially annoying when you charge a whole pack and smash, but then end up on the other side of the room before it goes off, effectively smashing nothing.
  21. And if they do drop, you can't learn it cause it's bugged like everything else.
  22. This. If poeple actually bothered to make their bracers/belt/relics properly they will have more gain through that than the stims themselves. 2 augment slots pr proff is 56 more of any one stat, compared to 32 +power/defense from the stims. Medpacks you already ruined. Biochem is fine! The fact that you now lower the value of the stims instead of making bracers/belt/relics require their respectively proffesions to wear/use changes nothing. People will still choose Biochem just because it's not a money pit in the long run. The hardcore players will power lvl their artifice/synthweaving/armsmech, make their items with augment and then go Biochem anyway. If you want to make things more equal try cutting mats for the stims/adrenals in half. Mats for 1 stim is the same as an epic. Where's the logic in that? They also take the same time to make. Red goo alone is up to 5k pr on my server, every stim need 4 of those ontop of other mats which are also rising as demand gets higher. Also why have you made the stims mats lvl 5 missions? Not like people are going to Quesh/Voss to farm, or do low lvl missions for mats (which are 2/5 since you can do missions to get what is already cheaper from the proff vendor) when they get more in return just doing augment missions for the one time mission drops? Which sell better than any stim cause everyone already are Biochems cause of the ridicolous mats so no one can make them for profit. See where this is going?? So bottom line is: Almost all proffs are fine. Stop fiddling around before thinking! Make BoP items exclusive to the proff they belong to, and add equal values gained for any proff. Half the mats on stims, and make them all top tier lvl mats, and cut crafting times significantly. Make removing of mods from drops impossible. And lastly Armstech? What the hell where you thinking? Are they able to make BoE legendary guns in some patch in the future? Still wouldn't be a fair tradeoff.
  23. Black Talon soloed @11 as a sorc. Khem Val ftw! The bosses that hit hard and manage to kill my beloved Khem are also buggable so you can play the LoS game and dot dot dot until they die.
  24. Only thing we would ever need is Smash being high threat ability, and Retaliation being moderate threat ability.
  25. Scaling gets better. But you're not going to get threat on every single mob in a 5+ pack. They can wait for you to get in your 2 moves with decent threat, and you will still make the enrage timer, if they don't get aggro your healer has a less stressful task and can join in. Also every single dps'er has a threat dump, they probably aren't using it.
