I agree hybrid specs are bad, but TD is extremely overrated. If you have trouble killing healers without TD, then you're not making the most out of your class. We have so many tricks to almost perma interrupt any caster class. Not saying TD is bad, but not worth taking over 9% aim.

I used TD spec for a long time, but since I augment for aim rather than power, this build is what I'm currently using. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301McZfhrbzGhMcZhMh.2 Although I lose a tad bit on TD burst, I gain a lot more in overall dmg due to extra extra aim and the aoe effect on explosive dart. Not to mention healers can't time their shield with TD bomb ticking away.

You're either a troll or grossly exaggerating. There's no way you are hitting 7k with only 700 expertise without adrenals. Unless it's the visual but that happens, which is not the true numbers. Also, Mercs don't have taunt or guard.

With the buff to expertise, PvE gear is a downgrade now, even with increased primary stats. You might as well buy recruit gear. The only way I see that crit happening is the Merc having full WH gear with augments popping relics, rakata stims/adrenals and the pvp expertise buff on a fresh 50. Which is probably what your gear equates to if your using Rakata. or It's latency and the game recognized two attacks as one. Which has happened to me several times.

Can you post your parse? How much accuracy do you have? You should be doing around 1400-1500 dps with full Rakata. And just ripping those mods out shouldn't make a difference. I'm assuming you are maximizing your dps by using unload everytime it's up. But ya, hard to see what's wrong without parses. Or additional info.

Anyone have any parses from PVE encounters? I ran with a pug for KP norm yesterday and was wondering how my dps stacks up. This is not an epeen post, but a discussion and hopefully some rotation improvements with feedback/testing. I’m also interested on how Arsenal stacks up against other dps classes. I have a Rakata geared PT that I will be doing parses on this weekend so I’ll post those in the PT forum when I get that done. Info on this character: Been 50 for two weeks and mostly PvP due to guild dying and I generally hate pugs. As far as gear…. I was using 2 pc Columi (chest, legs), weapons are Tionese grade and the rest is Champ gear with BM implants/earpiece. So for all intents and purposes, this character is the “in betweener”. Not hardcore, not super casual, but probably a good representation of the swtor casual raiding scene. Few things I noticed when studying my logs. 1. Never thought I would say this, but WTB more accuracy. Especially since a good portion of our dmg will be unload. Not sure what my current accuracy % is, but pre 1.2 I believe it was around 100% ? Will confirm when I get home. 2. I hope they introduce a /stopcasting function in game because when unload procs Its usually after I've already started casting a TM. And I've noticed that stopping TM mid cast bugs out my character to where I cannot see unload channeling. I like to think I manage my heat well and almost never have to spam rapid shots because of it. The OP is level 30, he doesn't have HSM. Also, Fusion Missile is an underrated skill especially in aoe packs. If you use it with TSO and Power surge, u can increaes your DPS significantly for zero heat cost.

I run an i5 2500k with the same GFX Card as you (Twin Frozr GTX 560 Ti) and with all the game settings to max and shadows on high, my cpu temps never go above 50c and my GFX card peaks at about 59c. So its most likely your machine setup, you don't have proper airflow and/or your fans are working against each other (bad setup).

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 on my I5 2500k and it looks to be the same size as yours. Install was fairly simple except I had to move my ram to make it fit properly. Other than that, was a breeze and now on full load my cpu doesn't go over 50 degrees

This. People forget WoW started with almost zero endgame and almost nothing for rewards in PvP. We used to run Upper BRS 10-15 times per day just because there was nothing else to do. Molten Core and Onyxia were bugged for months. So besides running BRS over and over we would spend hours at Tarren Mill PvPing just because it was fun to kill people. Here are some of my goals/wants for playing this game • Completing every class storyline quest (both sides) • Attaining the highest PvP rank • Beating the hardest bosses the game has to offer • Crafting the best item my chosen profession has available • PvP’ing for the fun of it just to try out my new gear and/or cause it’s fun. • Finding a Krayt Dragon and killing his ancient arse so I can see what he drops. • Owning different ships/housing (hopefully) • Being able to mount the aforementioned Krayt’s head in my personal housing wall or ship. I know I won’t be able to do all of these, because I have a full time job, family etc.. And I’m okay with that. But maybe that’s why I enjoy this game so much. I’m not trying to finish it, just enjoy what it has to offer and hope for more fun things to do when I run out of my current list.

Works fine for me GTX 560 ti everything on high including shadows. Min FPS is around 60, avg FPS in the 80's.

So your quitting because you can't crit for 35-40% of someone's HP in one shot? LOL
