  2. I would like a little more range, we are a sniper after all, snipe, ambush and followthrough should be 5m more.
  3. ^^ 50 Sniper - 31 Valor - MM/EN - PVP Crucible Pits Same boat different server. Although it is getting better as i get more Champ gear. Someone tell me if i am doing a decent rotation? I start with Ambush > Explosive probe (goes off same time as Ambush)> Followthrough > Crit Snipe (using the ability for 100% crit also instant snipe)> Series Shot > Snipe > Followthrough> Takedown if low.....This is obviously at range with little threat of being attacked that changes with a flashbang and leg shot and what not if someone is attacking me... Any stuff would help I am marksman
  4. I enjoyed seeing a possible different way of playing. There is no one way to play a class. Good for you going out there and trying something new.
  5. The sniper volley is alright, i don't notice it much really. I have a relic and the level 50 ability to temp increase alacrity for when we are in a raid and the boss is close to his enrage timer and we all burn the cooldowns for it. Also it is nice if you know you could die from say a person in PVP you burn those cooldowns cause you gonna die if you don't and energy management goes out the door. I don't go out of my way to get extra i would perfer to get myself some Crit and Power.
  6. Well for one are you fighting them in a WZ? or Open World? In the WZ you both have the stats of a level 50 so the level difference is null only thing is talents and skill available. The amount of burst an Operative has is insane but you can counter it if you are fast enough.

Kailyo is one of the better companions IMO, right now I use Doctor Lokin since he can keep me alive longer and we both can live through level 50 Elites, But once he is capped on affection i am gonna go back to her and work her up the last 2k she needs to cap her Edit: All the companions are good in their own way. I can kill an elite with each one, it is all about changing your play style to fit with that companion.
  8. At the end of the day you will not match the amount of Cunning with Aim after changing out all your stuff. We get Cunning bonus from talents for a reason. So you could say ya it would be better if i had 1356 aim instead of cunning but GL getting that high without the extra from the talents and not to mention Snipers and Operatives get .9 Aim per level and 4 Cunning per level. So your base Aim will be far less then your Cunning. You will never be able to top the total amount of cunning you can get. he base stats at the moment are Aim, Cunning, Endurance, Presence, Strength and Willpower. Aim improves ranged/blaster attacks, and is an inferior stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, increasing by 0.9 Aim per level on average. It is the dominant stat for Bounty Hunters. Note: Aim is not to be confused with Accuracy, a wholly different stat, which is discussed below. Cunning improves tech attacks, and is the dominant stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, increasing by 4 Cunning per level on average. Endurance improves health, and is an auxiliary stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, increasing by 3.5 Endurance per level on average. Every point provides 10 health points, and every 5 points provides 1% health regeneration. Presence improves Companions, and is an auxiliary stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, providing 3.5 Presence per level on average. Every 1 point provides 2 health points to Companions, and every 20 points provides a 2% bonus to Companions' damage. Strength improves melee attacks, and is an inferior stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, increasing by 0.9 Strength per level on average. It is the dominant stat for Sith Warriors. Willpower improve force attacks, and an inferior stat for Smugglers/Imperial Agents, increasing by 0.9 Willpower per level. It is the dominant stat for Sith Inquisitors
  9. of randomness, just threw the level number out there out of randomness is all. All i knew was they were nerfing the burst dmg and did not know the name and level of skills being nerfed. Basically it was a poor example on my part
  10. As a sniper i find myself using Doctor more then any other champ now, He is able to keep me alive in most situations even vs Elites. All other companions have taken a to the bench for now.
  11. IDK how everyone else is running it, but i choose the armor with the higher cunning if possible and get power and crit on the items. But from experience save all your comms until 50 to get champ bags cause in the end Expertise is what you want

  13. Currently at work or i would get one for you. It isn't geared up yet so i am wearing mostly modded level 40 PVP set.
  14. The IA story was amazing, but you have to let yourself get into it. Be drawn into the story and be as if it were you going through the emotions. If you just played the class to play the class then it will not be fun. I have played most story lines on the Empire side past level 30 and did not like them as much as the IA. All were fun but the IA one i really feel like a Agent
  15. The nerf is for Operatives being able to drop someone before they are unstunned. Level 20 operatives dropping the 4k crit bomb on level 50's in PVP. It is just gonna bring it to balance with assassin style class. Not gonna kill the fun of being an Operative. IA is so much fun I just hit 50 on my Sniper and love it and might roll an Operative again just to see the lightside of all the quests. Though i gotta say the armor is ugly does not look cool.
  16. I just did this fight, Don't tank the mob. Switch out your companion for a ranged dps or the Doctor and just range him down, interrupt his heal when you can using your ranged interrupt, stun, knockback. Don't get into melee range with him cause he does hurt. Did this as sniper my first try. For those operatives use your Ensign she is good ranged dmg even without the uber gears.
