As of logging on today after patch, I have cast bars that appear for a split second, then disappear. I also have abilities not showing on cooldown when they are. Every time I port in somewhere via teleport item or from speeder, I am stuck and unable to move in any direction (Though my character will Flinstone in place) until I jump. There is also extreme pop-in of player characters/NPCs with massive slowdown as they pop in. The game shows 34-57 ms latency all throughout this. I have not had this problem since I came back a month or so ago. It showed up today. Settings have not changed since flawless performance yesterday. If anyone knows a work around that doesn't involve throwing my PC in the trash (i7 10800, RTX 3060, 32 gigs RAM, 1 TB SSD), I'd be happy to try it out. Edited to add since I can't find a delete button Game "fixed" itself after I completely exited game, then turned computer off and on again. Tried and tested secret IT trick works!!!!

Allow people to download the launcher and then choose between streaming and a normal, functioning client. That would save some people from having to install 30 gigs worth of data (only to lose it due to a patch while data reorganizes for 13 days), thereby forcing us to download again, close launcher, then "fix" your launcher setup files. I stupidly assumed the launcher crap was corrected over the last 5 years. Silly me. BitRaider strikes again. I am sure someone in the community can create the edited text files and such that developers could then just insert into the launcher if some help was needed. A simple drop box would suffice. ST for "Use at your own risk but you get to play on starting planets while the game continues downloading for another 9 hours" and FL for "Functioning game that patches properly but you'll have to do something else for an entire day". I also suggest you sticky the fix in EVERY forum section plus put a link to the fix on the swtor homepage.

I did a quest last night on my Sorcerer where I utilized rocket launchers to blast ships out of the sky. Why must I be limited to a useless lightsaber when I can use heavy weapons? I DEMAND BioWare to unlock AC restrictions on weaponry and allow my Sorc to use Commando heavy weapons IMMEDIATELY. If I don't get this now, I will post an "I quit" rant on the forums, NOT give away my stuff, and just be back in three months hoping nobody remembers who I am. So THERE!!!!

I thought they were pretty stupid, until I noticed how many fricking free Cartel Coins I got due to already unlocked achievements. I think I got almost 800 CCs just by alting around to my various characters after this silly patch/xpac business began.

Make characters with only gathering skills Sell mats Have a few hundred thousand credits by level 20 with a decent time farming instead of leveling OR have around a million credits at 30 if you play your cards right.

It's an easy way to score free loot, get help (before they hear ya over Vent), have stuff bought for you, etc.. People can try and break gamer stereotypes but, c'mon... the sheer amount of basement dwelling trolls in MMOs is staggering and they can all be taken advantage of with ease.

You people are so wrong. World of Boredcraft was the first MMO ever created. In fact, Blizzard created the Ford Model-T as well as the sledge-o-matic.

Wait until Belsavis Dailies and use her exclusively for those. You'll get OODLES of affection out of her as long as you make the correct choices. Other than that, don't waste the metric crap ton of gifts it takes to max her out.

SoE games are the only MMOs I have played that allowed outright class changing. SWG pre-CU you could just rebuild skill boxes through easy, afk grinding. NGE you could pay credits and just change your class so you could FotM in PvP, since that's all the game offered for the first few years of that build. EQII allowed a "faction" change so you could play your mirror class that could be different enough as to be considered an entire different animal. Since this game fits into the "World of Boredcraft" style of MMOs, it would be as if you changed from a Warrior to a Paladin, so you could be FotM off and on for the last few years in PvE AND PvP. If they allow AC changes, it will be through the Cartel Market to soak up a lot more money when they could actually be working on something worthwhile.... not that much content is being added beyond Cartel Market swag :S

This is a new and exciting thread. People have yet to suggest an insertion of SWG into TOR. I am glad to see someone is using some forethought and will be spear-heading the discussion to end all discussions by wanting to change an optional rail shooter into an optional space simulator. It makes more sense to ramble on aimlessly through space, following a constantly changing way point until you stumble upon your objective than it does to actually start your mission at your objective, blow stuff up, then leave. SWG is dead. It was dead in Alpha and was in Beta stage for the first six years of it's life. It had a declining player base BEFORE CU/NGE and anyone who misses it that much can play The Sims for all their decorating needs.

The least they could do is paint your house, wash your car, mow your grass, or do your homework for you. I mean, I've been in since launch and I think I should at LEAST get a title... something along the lines of, "King of Australia". I like the sound of that. With all the hours I have spent playing this game from my mother's basement, filling my face full of hot pockets, mt dew, and funyums, you'd think EA/BW could give me SOMETHING to show how special I am that I started playing a video game before other people. The nerve of this company not handing out things to make me feel special. I should sue!!!
