  1. Ok guess I am way off on this and am the only person that really would like to see something like this happen, cause now this post have over 200 views but only myself and 1 other have posted in response.....oh well maybe some day they will do this...
  2. No they sent it here because it was in the wrong section of the forums, and that was completely my fault. I thought it was better placed in the crew skills forum however I was wrong since it is a suggestion for the game. I have hope that it will get seen and considered, specially since just in the 24 hours after my posting it it was viewed over 60 times. I don't think it will go unread by those that can make it happen, it just may not happen any time soon, and I am ok with that. It would be nice to get a bit more feedback on the suggestion, only one reply is kinda sad. I was hoping to see a bit more feed back from the general public on this matter. Maybe I am way off base on this and no one else finds this as a problem like I do.
  3. I don't know if this is even possible to do or if it would be a simple add on to the code or whatever to make it happen but I just had to offer this suggestion. I would love for the crew mission window save the last level tier selected when sending out companions on missions. So that say I'm a skill level 400 Underworld Trading, and I am trying to gather lower level, Grade 2 materials. When I select my companion, I use the drop down menu to choose which level range the mission will be. I send them out then click on the next companion, my drop down menu/choices for mission would already be set to the Grade 2 mission choices instead of having to go back into the drop down menu and selecting the Grade 2 choice again. I know this isn't a big deal and it's not game breaking or anything but when I am in a FlashPoint or other situation where I am not just standing around doing only crew missions it would really help to speed up sending out my companions on missions, if the mission window would save our previous choices. You could even go as far as having a check box on the crew mission window that we could enable/disable the option to save our previous level ranges. This way if someone doesn't want to run the same level range for each companion they can select it with the drop down menu....I don't know, it's something I've thought about for a while and just decided to make the suggestion for it.
  4. On one server I have a guild that could, the way I understand it, with its current member numbers get the guild bank. However I don't think all of the members combined has enough to afford the cost of 600k. On my other server, I can easily get the 600k to get a guild bank, however I seem to be without a guild on that server, and even if my friends and I created a guild I don't think we could manage the 12 members needed unless that's 12 members total and not unique accounts needed. As for those that say splitting the cost of the guild bank between the members, I personally wouldn't force my guild to do that honestly I wouldn't even consider asking them to do that if I happened to be guild-master. I don't think something like that should be dependent upon the guild members unless they offer to help of their own volition. So currently I am rather ambivalent towards the requirements for guild banks in SWTOR. I do have to ask though, what games do those of you play that a guild bank costs to purchase? I can list at least 3 games I play that don't charge guilds for a guild bank....EverQuest2, Vanguard, Fallen Earth. I also happen to play DDO, STO and I'm sure I've possibly forgotten one I play. Anyway I am quite certain that none of those charge to get a guild bank, however DDO and STO I could be wrong since I am not a guild leader nor have I been for those games. So which games charge for guild banks, other than SWTOR. *Edit* I have been informed by my friends that play STO that you do have to pay for the guild bank, so that is 1 game I play out of 5, other than SWTOR.
  5. I was starting to wonder if anyone with a level 50 character would speak up about this agreeing with those that aren't level 50. I am glad to see at least one person who has managed to get to level 50 with at least one of their characters seems to feel that those of us, for one reason or another, that has not yet reached 50 with a character is getting the short end of the stick with this promotion. I am also one of those alt-aholics as well as a mother of 2 boys, 4 and 7, and for those with families you know how hard it is to play consistently through the day. Yes I may have many alts but that still doesn't mean that I would have gotten even my main to level 50 by now had I not made my alts. With my kids I have very little time to dedicate to the game. I often find myself soloing because I never know if I will be able to sit down for an uninterrupted extended period of time to do a Flashpoint or work on a group mission. This is why I make so many alts, because I do want to play but I also want to be able to do my missions without failing or trying to find a group and then have them be patient with me during my many AFK's that can last sometimes more than 30 min. Despite everything that people have complained about since launch I have stuck with the game, I played during beta and even convinced my husband to get him and myself both a pre-order of the game so that we could be apart of the early launch group. I have not let my subscription lapse no matter what, and I have only taken at most 2 weeks in one stretch from the game due to personal reasons with my kids. I think more than anything that shows dedication. No matter what you do for us, there will always be some of us who feel left out when it comes to specials like this. I know this and that's why before I saw the quoted post I wasn't going to voice my opinion on this matter even though I very much agree with what seems like 90% of the posters on this forum. I am happy to see that you, BioWare, are trying to make your players happy. Your trying is much better than I can say for many games I have played. So even though I feel left out I will keep hope that you will at some point reward the rest of your Dedicated player base in a way that is equally amazing as you are doing for those players that have reached max level already.
  6. Ok did some more gifting to companions Vette and Jaesa and found that....... For Level 3 affection amount, a Green rank 4 gift that is Favorite does give 59 affection points. (confirmed this with Vette) For Jaesa (Dark (Level 1 affection)) when gifting her Rank 4 Blue Luxury item she gained 135 affection which is in the Favorite column. So I would guess that Dark Jaesa only Favorites Luxury items and maybe Light Jaesa Loves them. (I can't confirm for light Jaesa I can just confirm for Dark). I hope this helps you with the chart
  7. I wanted to make note so that you could add it, for Vette you have it listed that she "Loves" Courting gifts. This may be true for Male characters however my Marauder is a Female avatar and Vette only "Likes" Courting items from her. I noticed this only because currently Vette's affection towards my marauder is in the level 3 range and instead of gaining 96 affection from a green rank 3 CG I gained 24 affection which would make that fall under the "Likes" category for her instead of "Loves". I'm not sure how much that really matters but I thought I would mention it so that if it's not to much trouble you could make note of that for Vette in her list of items.
  8. So I read the guide, thank you so much for this guide it was a HUGE help. I was wondering if anywhere out there someone has compiled a full list of schematics that can be crafted for each crafting skill, including trainable and looted or found schematics? Even something that just gives names for the items? I couldn't find one anywhere, yet, so I decided to start a excel spreadsheet to list all schematics for each crafting skill. One that will show each prefix tier and which they branch off from. As well as listing the custom schematics for each crafting type that has them. Just names for the items no stats or anything just something that can be referenced when looking at the schematic list on a character to see what ones are still needed. Once I am finished, IF I can figure out how to do it, (and I find out no one else already has) I plan to make it download-able so that anyone can use it to find out which schematics they are missing and how to obtain them (RE/Trainable/Lootable/GTN purchaseable). So if anyone has seen something similar to this, I know torhead.com has pages for the schematics but that's not what I am doing, please let me know so I can check it out.
  9. Not sure if these are bugs or working as intended but thought I would post them here just in case, I was going to include screen shots of them but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. For the schematic Redoubt Optoelectronic Might Package (blue strength implant for level 33) I noticed that all the green components needed are grade 3, however the blue component needed is grade 4 (The blue grade 4 component listed is Synthetic Blood). For the Schematic Overkill Memory Resistance D-Implant (Purple willpower implant for level 29) I noticed that instead of requiring a purple component to make the item. Instead it calls for the blue component twice in the list, doubling the amount of blue components used and using no purple components that I can see. (The blue component required is Neuro-Stimulator and it requires 8 of these to make the item) For the Schematics Experimental Absorb, Efficacy and Triage Adrenal (level 32 adrenals) The schematic calls for 3 green components 2 are grade 4, and one is grade 3. The blue components is grade 4. (The green grade 3 component listed is Bio-Energy Cell Sample) Thus far these are the only ones I have noticed that are possibly listing and using the incorrect components. If I happen to notice others I will add them to this post.
