  1. how does a game go to launch when the basic controls of the character don't work? we had a million beta testers, and I gotta imagine some of us reported this?
  2. nah, he's just a fan boy that trolls these forums looking for anything that challenges them or this game. This issue is vital to the success of this title, and the way it's been largely ignored is very frustrating.
  3. I wouldn't expect too much movement on this issue. They're talking about rolling out more content now, but they still aren't giving us any real insight on fixing the issue. "Soon" doesn't mean doesn't mean a whole lot.
  4. lololololol! it took them seven years? they wouldn't have gotten to where they were if they hadn't achieved it much sooner than just last month when wow turned seven. BW should fix it asap.
  5. im no developer, but to me it seems an easy fix. just speed up the animation times to fit within the activation/gcd times.
  6. the amount of vitriol related to the wow/swtor relationship is hilarious. bioware/starwars fanboys have complete and violent faith in an unproven product. wow fans just seem arrogant about swtor can never be as good. so many good lols here.
  7. this whole "it's that way for everyone, so it's fair!" argument is way off. the different classes have different animations, even the mirrors have different animation times for the mirrored abilities.
  8. because people aren't going to go to some sketchy fansite.
  9. if this isn't fixed i dont see any reason for them to add ranked warzones or any form of pvp ladder. This needs to go to the top of their queue of fixes.
  10. It's really hard for me to understand their stance here. The guild recruitment thing might work now, but what about when people are all level 50? They aren't going to want to join a guild on another server where they'd have to start from scratch. How are we to plan world events without a set meeting place for the server? Bioware is encouraging the community to start their own server forums, which is stupid, but even that idea fails. I play on Port Nowhere, and there are already two unofficial Port Nowhere forums that have popped up. This =/= Community
  11. Yep. It's funny to read all these qq posts
  12. this qq has me rolling. I'm sure they're waiting on the official launch before they make any drastic moves in regards to queue times. I have confidence that the problem will be addressed sooner than later.
  13. nah, they shut that game down. this is a new game with new systems. It might be cool to change your look, but I wouldn't cross your fingers waiting for much swg to be incorporated into tor.
  14. it's not like we can romance any of the children, what's with the qq. maybe the kids developed faster a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.
  15. you know, it could also be that they don't want them. A lot of what happens on server forums for other games is flame wars and troll fests. Maybe bioware just doesn't want that with this game.
  16. How are they going to do Ilum? Will they keep the strict 200 person caps on an open world objective based pvp area?
  17. Longest I've had to wait on Port Nowhere was 650 people, about 45 minutes. It'll be interesting to see if they'll do server migrations, or raise the server pop-cap or something. I think the servers would feel better populated if they held another 200-400 people. Obviously, I have no idea the capability of their hardware, but it does feel surprisingly empty for how long a queue we have to wait in.
  18. I hate that I'm not very good yet. I can't seem to put out close to as much damage as other players and it doesn't make sense to me :-/ I don't like how long it takes to ride back in Ald if you don't have one of the two sides.
  19. to some extent, yes. It should be a system that tries for the first X amount of minutes to find a game on your server, then looks cross server. There is very little cross faction rivalry in games that offer this.
  20. seems like radiant and chilastra are ending up on port nowhere
  21. nah, don't bother learning to play, just get out.
  22. yea we mostly pvp too, but we're republic, so im sure we'll be seeing you
