I really like the fact that each guild members progress in the game helps the guild as a whole. Makes it even more important to keep you members happy and staying ethical and not greedy. Because if you piss off the membership then the progress stops. I also believe that it helps each member feel that they are doing there part to help the guild.

So, WoW put features in the system to appeal to all 3 types of the guilds mentioned earlier! No one said that it had to be a exact copy of WoW's system but I do think what they have is a good start just with a SWTOR touch like everyother thing they copied from WoW.

I don't think any of those things are freebies. those perks have to be earned as a guild. if it has to be earned what about that makes it free.

Ya... Your right I am loving that idea. I think its great that a guilds hard work at being a team and completing things that other guild can't do can be rewarded with things that can be shared as a guild.

Not according to the link provided earlier. As the guild does things in WOW like raids and events. They earn some sort of XP. This xp unlocks levels upto 25 I think it said . Each level offers something the whole guild can benefit from.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood the 33.3% I mentioned was telling you that out of the 3 types of guilds someone mentioned my guild participates in all 3 efficiently. We have members that don't care to raid but like to level. We also have members that love to raid and we have roleplayers. Some members do all 3. For the most part each member contributes to better the guild one way or another.

I guess in WOW they offer these things called guild perks. Its a system that allows a guild to work together to get cool stuff as a guild. I think it would be something worth working into SWTOR. Not the exact same thing but something fitting to SWTOR.

I really am not feeling sorry for this small guild that is destroyed because they failed to adapt to a change in the market. My feeling about that is that the guild would have failed anyway because of lack of good leadership.

I would say that its about 33.3 % for each group. Like I said if they truly felt cheated out of the deal they would /gquit. The choice would be on the player.

I know that people in SWTOR sometimes forget they are playing a MMO. But I joined a guild to be social with many players that share same goals. I wouldn't shut down a deli just because the sandwich guy on the corner is going out of business. Small guilds would need to adapt and contribute to the members.

I disagree but then again I am in a great guild that does apply all 3 of those and it runs very efficiently. From the reading I have done on the perks system it offers the change to any size of guild to work toward getting all the perks. So even your 5 person guild could someday have all the perks that a 300 member guild has. Maybe not as fast but still available.

Because with a cashflow the guild can purchase items such as gear and mats for the crafters in the guild to enhance the guild and help its members. Helping the in-game economy and increasing the effectiveness of guilds. It should never be for just one person or a small group. and if it was I am sure the guild would lose members.

Why be in a small guild when I can benefit from a large one and get good stuff. Your not helping your point. The fact that something can help make my experience and that of others in this game and bring me and the others into a community in a community is awesome. I'm sorry your 5 person guild wont survive without changes.

Now having seen the guild perks that WOW offers I would really like to see something like that made to fit with SWTOR.

I feel really sorry for you and the rest of your guild mates if your guildmaster is the only one that benefits from the guild bank.

You all must be in horrible guilds...... There is all kinds of advantages to a constant cash flow coming into a guild bank.
