  1. I like the idea... but as others have mentioned, it would require server mergers or cross-server matchmaking.
  2. Healing is completely out of hand. I just started playing again recently, and I play a level 60 Sage Healer, and the amount of mobile healing I can produce is insane. Sometimes I literally spend the entire WZ at one objective, because nobody can kill me, and nobody dies. It's so bad, that sometimes when I know we have victory in hand, I actually let my opponent kill me or my teammates, just so they have something to show for all their effort. Now, I can't comment on organized or ranked WZ's. Obviously when I face a pre-made who know how to focus DPS I can be brought down quickly. However, I'm also playing with pugs who don't peel, protect, or cross-heal most of the time either. I think the issue, at least with Sages, could be fixed with a couple talent tweaks. For example, taking away the ability to cast Healing-Trance while moving would make a huge difference. My death rate would probably double without that talent.
  3. I've only been playing a level 60 Sage for a few days, but I felt OP in WZ's wearing rated 168 quest gear from leveling. I can only imagine how tough I'm going to be to bring down once I'm geared up. Honestly, I haven't played the WZ's in years (just returned), but what I played the last couple days feels broken. I played one match where the other team didn't get a single kill... despite a battle in the middle of the map for the entire WZ. Literally millions of damage produced, and not a single kill.
  4. We should have seen the warning signs when the Devs got smoked in PvP by a bunch of people who had never played the game before. Too much focus on numbers, and not enough focus on actual gameplay.
  5. The real good PvP happened long before Jedi were running rampant. The Jedi class put the final nail in PvP. Of course, there was never really any balance. From Acklay Stun Batons to Combat Medic poison/diseases, there was always some grossly overpowered class combo. I remember I was a Master Pistoleer / Master Fencer dodge/defense stacker for awhile. I could literally lay down and let people let people attack me with no armor on and would dodge/evade everything. I actually played on EU Chimera quite a bit, but my Jedi was on US Gorath. I recognize a few of the names from the video, good times.
  6. I feel bad for people who spent months grinding BM gear, only to have others get the same gear in weeks. I was lucky to get the timing just perfect, where both my 50's were full champion right before 1.2.
  7. The Jedi are no better than the Sith. They use the force to maintain their control over the Galaxy. Peace is a lie.
  8. Amazing how a game that came out in 2003 has 10x's the features of a game released in 2011/12. And by amazing, I mean embarrassing.
  9. I didn't realize people were failing in Operations.
  10. I just use the Force. Sometimes I even play with my eyes closed.
  11. I read the entire interview on Eurogamer, and it just doesn't add up. Read it here, it's a good read. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-05-04-free-radical-vs-the-monsters The developer claims a bunch of new suits came in and torpedo'd a close to finished product for no reason... at least the developer gives no real reason. My first reaction is to side with the developer, but none of it makes sense. My only thought is that Lucas Arts simply didn't think there was enough money to be made with Battlefront 3 as a PC exclusive. Pirating was growing fast in 2008, and the economy was crashing. My guess is if we do see a Battlefront 3, it will be a cross-platform title, for X-Box, PS3, Wii-U, and PC. And I too loved Battlefront 2.

    Ravage

In Rated Wz's Mauraders on good teams will be specced Rage, and coordinating guaranteed crit 12k Smashes. It's amazing how overrated Ravage is on these forums. The DPS over 3 secs isn't that impressive, especially if it doesn't crit.
  13. Everything is fine. This is not the thread you are looking for. *waves hands*
  14. You assume they will actually test the content sufficiently before releasing it.
  15. Voidstar is the worst, and it isn't close.
  16. Only place I call out game plans is on Voidstar. "Stealth right, everyone else left." is a good strategy to get an easy win, and people actually listen sometimes.

    Ravage

Ravage is situational at best, and any Maurader that relies on it isn't very good. It's on a 27-30 sec CD... you know how many people I kill in 30 seconds? I have a 50 Maurader and 50 Sorc, and on my Sorc, I have NEVER eaten an entire Ravage, EVER.
  18. Even 4 man teams rofl-stomp pugs. A couple times we managed to get two pre-mades in the same warzone, on the same side... and it was complete massacre. Not a single person even died on our side.
  19. Tera will flop in the West. FTP within 6 months.
  20. Farming pug's isn't fun either.
  21. I stand corrected. I thought the tie-breaker was total medals though.
  22. It's a draw, and they have more medals.
  23. If you make strong penalties for leaving, people will just sit afk somewhere. How is that any better? They should just bring back the daily/weekly for WZ's completed.
  24. Those numbers are supposed to be overpowered?
  25. Because not all Marauders are Annih spec? I would personally recommend Carnage for leveling. Most stuff dies so fast when leveling, that using a DoT spec seemed pointless (at least to me). Carnage is also easier to just mindlessly play, for those long leveling sessions.
