As i'm sure everyone is aware there have been numerous posts asking questions about this possibility for quite some time now, but the last update i have been able to find was in july. As i don't believe in resurrecting dead posts , i'll make a new one. Dear protocol droids, I would absolutely love the option to transfer characters from my old EU server to my new happy NA server. I have found alot of posts about this and there is a definite and large interest in this feature. I know that in the past , responses have informed us that BW would like to implement this and that they are currently working on it, but i would like to kindly request some additional information.... 1: Is there as of yet a timeframe for implementation? 2: If not, may we be advised of the nature of the delay? 3: Would it be possible to transfer an entire server of characters? ( at an increased cost of course ) I am aware that there are literally thousands of posts per hour posted on these forums and that you poor droids are worked to death looking at all of them, so i (we) appreciate any time you could spare to address these questions as you peruse the forums. Thanks in advance!

Bioware never respond to these ( if they even read them ) and i know for a fact the devs would be saddened by the fact that so many people don't want to play a game they designed because the design is flawed as hel. Get it together!

Seriously? Ok, they have had this done since before the game released, then took it out so that they could release it later as a " new " feature. Much like single player games make a full game, then chop a chunk out of it and sell it to us later as DLC. Adding individual checkboxes is a walk in the park, if you can't understand that then i feel sorry for you.

I used to always wonder why the C/O had to "tell" them to boost the confinement beam, i mean if you're trying to get a lock on someone and it's not working, then it would prob be the first thing you would think to do but instead they all acted like it was the greatest idea in history and wondered why they didn't think of it themselves !

Respec costs are reset if you don't respec again for 1 week. If you are using respeccing as "dual spec" then you deserve to be charged an arm and a leg. Wait for dual spec or pay 50k a pop, your call. To those saying it doesn't reset, it actually does. You will get a message telling you its going to be 50k or whatever. but once you click accept it says " you have not respecced for 1 week, so the cost is 0 " or words to that effect, and you are not charged.

Surely you can see the point he is trying to make, he is not saying that it is HIS loot, but that it should be HIS loot. Even if you are not any sort of decent or moral person, you must certainly understand that BH armor should go to the BH(s) in the group instead of to another class who physically cannot equip it just so they can have 5k of credits at the vendor or for a companion who is useless in FPS, OPS and Warzones.

I'll tell you EXACTLY what's happened here.... People played Alliance side on WoW for years, got smashed over and over again by Horde players in battlegrounds, got so frustrated with annoying trade chat and trolls that, when this game came out, they all saw Rep/Imp as Ally/Horde and all wanted to be on the perceived " winning side " creating the massive faction imbalance on many servers. I can say with almost complete certainty that this is what happened in almost every case.

Games have to move with the times to succeed. I'm tired of people going " WoW didn't start with an appearance tab or a LFG tool, so why should SWTOR? " It's like this, mobile phones 10 years ago didn't have apps, decent 3g or 4g internet connections, touchscreen interfaces, the ability to watch tv or make video calls. Those things were added in later and have become standard features. Try making a cell phone now with the same launch features as a 10 yr old cell phone, then use that line " but the most popular cell phone 10 yrs ago didn't have those features " and see how many you sell. Just because other games added bits in later, does not give BW a reason, or indeed the right, to launch a game without basically any of the standard features we are used to. I find the fact that they launched this way ( and the attitudes of those defending it ) disgraceful.
