  1. Second that! This (and it's sibling Light Battle Headgear) is the most awesome head-piece in game since it doesn't obscure face features or mimics that were so painstakingly built by developers. Companions still can't be rendered without helmets, can they? It actually shares the model with green IA quest reward "Lacqerous Battle Headgear" I was dismayed to find out that orange craftable "Lacqerous Battle Headgear" has nothing to do with this awesome 3D model
  2. Indeed, which recipes for orange gear you get from UWT fully depend on mission Grades. Grade 1 would bring you first 2 sets (those without head piece, skill 20 and 60 to make, for each armor type), and it goes higher from these. I won't help you with exact Grade margins though
  3. Most certain it comes from Underworld Trading like the rest of recipes for moddable items. I believe I got once a Hooligan's leggings recipe from UWT myself
  4. well, yday I got Red Savage crystal (blue) replaced by a 31 level offhand (epic) in a queue while doing a space mission, so it seems possible to expoit it
  5. The only catch here is orange armormech crafted items with class requirements. Well, and looks and icon of the armor could be different on the other side: nice Rep medium armor coats could become something ugly on an IA and vice versa
  6. Entering your ship triggers loading screen so that is a common choice. Also handing in a quest refreshes the list
  7. There's no willpower shield among green offhand recipes learned from trainer. It seems like an oversight On the other hand there are schematics for blue willpower shields for levels 25 and 37. Searching Galactic Market would be the best way to find it, but it should be pretty rare
  8. Hooligan's Jacket, Leggins and Headgear is orange (crafted by armormech) set. Hooligan's Prototype orange/blue items are another matter - looks like quest rewards or drop or else.
  9. Speaking about interrupts, I wonder what was the reason to assigning (reasonable) price for interrupt ability to half of the ACs while other half has it completely for free
  10. Well, when you put it that way, Sage/Sorc has an aoe knockback and a stun also, right? This isn't a sound argument Grouping: sure thing, but well, still 7 out of 8. Wierd As for suffers less or more: care to explain what is it you mean? All 3 healers in game have an instant heal or two, not only Merc/Commando, if that was your point here
  11. When 7 out of 8 ACs have interrupt and 1 doesn't it definitely looks like a bug or design overlook rather then balancing out or class specifics. I feel for the cause
  12. Find a bored tank slightly above your level and two-man flashpoints with your dps companions out! That was fun I tell you
  13. I do hope they would make it possible in the future
  14. I believe Rakata pieces are BoE so sell them on Galactic Market for a million or two Could buy some nice 25 mods if there's any
  15. Bracers and belts are empty-Orange drops. I suppose any class has a 10ish level ones and like 30-40 level ones. For Inquisitor I have Saber Marshal (10ish) and Supreme Inquisitor (30ish) bracers and belts, all bought on Galactic Market. They say farming grade 1 lockboxes with missions or elite+ mobs around 12 level may get you some of those lower ones Armormech and Synthweave only craft head-chest-legs sets, withouth the head piece for low-level ones. There's a set for all supported armor types every 40 skill up, starting form 20 (20, 60, 100, 140...)
  16. Dont' worry, Biochem packs will become BoE. But you will need money to buy them, so you could take care of it with your skills. There's a plenty of guides here, or you could just research your own server's market General direction: try not to sell your raw mats but rather find the way to craft it into something useful While dailies can provide pretty income too, crafting is also an optional way to earn money (and help your leveling friends if any). Dropping for Biochem would probably close this option, since Biochem crafters cry here for no demand. This could change after BoE-packs patch People who opt out of profession for next top-skill end-game bonus risk loosing it over one night when it gets patched to require said profession to use
  17. Well, last boss in class quest kills Ashara with aoe, but Andronikos leaves it without a scratch :/ As a tank I can't help it happening For 3men Flashpoints on some bosses you would find Ashara's default mobility - I mean, tank moves boss and she moves too - usefull. On other Andronikos long range will allow him to avoid whatever danger is happening in melee. Both could help your healer and avoid loosing your companion since you can't yell at your companion to move him/her to selected spot or out of fire. Being alive would cover the dps disparity - but some do say Ashara does more damage. Personally for 2men runs I always used Andronikos, but I think I was biased
  18. For Synthweave: orange gear sometimes does match, so don't loose your hope completely: Dark Acolyte and Sith Dueling matches, Inquisitor doesn't. It's gear from 1st planet, just like Agent's
  19. That's right, but "standard" one is 15. For Andronikos - our second companion - it's 27, there's no way to get an affection bonus less then 27 from him. For 3rd companion it's 40, and 55 for 4th, 102 for 5th. It's the 1 coin value for them, while you still can get "I love this desicion" reaction from your companion with other, higher, values
  20. Personally, I was trying to figure out how I could keep both of them when it all went down the trash compactor
  21. Now that I think about it your idea explains all that perfectly! There are indeed 40ish elites and loot boxes. Xalek comes in rather late in the game - 45 I believe? He could be excluded from the quests that way.
  22. Some classic-SW looking options is definetely a must for force-using classes. I hope so much it's already somewhere in the pipeline, cause you hardly can miss the problem Checking Global Market every 30 minutes and killing literally hundreds of low-level elites - that's unprovoked pain it takes to get some nicely looking gear. I found myself hunting both sides of GTN for recipe of Dark Acolyte Robe and leveling a Synthweave alt just to make the character stop looking like a clown. It took a lot of time to find it
  23. Xalek is definitely the only Inquisitor combat-capable (not 2V-R8) companion that completely ignores you deeds in 50 level Belsavis area. Does anyone know if that is some kind of a trend for other classes' last companion, or is it a bug I'd better report?
  24. Tank "stance" for assassin is Dark Charge which compensates for base armor difference between light/heavy armor classes. Then you aim for 100% uptime of Dark Ward (more shields!), Wither and Discharge for debuffing and threat (they hit you less!), Shock as much as possible and heal yourself through Force Lightning (self-heal!). Also anticipating incoming heavy damage and using CDs (2 relics, medpacks, Force Shroud, Deflection) in time to counter these spikes is what makes you the best tank ever for your healer For PvE tanking you could grab some moddable gear and fill it with blue or epic 50 lvl mods (say, daily quest rewards) that have max endurance and other tanking stats on it. Takes 7 days to grind it to full set. That's between 17k and 18k HP unbuffed, I believe. That's it, 8k HP difference is obviously gear, nothing "base" about it
