There needs to be a way to +1 posts. I've done this before as well. Almost made me leave the game completely. They need a better purchasing interface with more obvious buttons and details about each armors purchase.

I just bought a new computer and I plan on replacing the GFX card in it, but ATM it has a Nvidea GT 630. What level should I be able to play on comfortably. In case you were wondering I plan on getting a GTX760

I went sith because the gear is better, the stories are better and everything you see, touch or talk about isn't colored various shades of poop.

This is one of the most frustrating things in the game for me. As a Republic player I really would like my character to look like a Dark Jedi and wear some of the masks/gear that Empire has. The empire has the best looking armor. I'm not asking for any of the main sets like tier gear or pvp epic gear(however, I envy the lvl 40 pvp suit of the warrior), I'm just talking about the random mod-able pieces. I play Republic, my guild is Republic, but the Empire has WAY better gearing options. Hands down, I don't think there are many people who believe differently. This really has a negative impact on my play-style because I like to get into the look of my character as well as the story itself. Honestly I don't care if you make this a Cartel Market option or just change it outright, either would be great, but please make this change. Gear shouldn't change its look when it crosses faction. The gear one wears, tier/pvp epics aside, shouldn't be the identifier of the faction but of the character itself. Revan wore his mask as a Jedi, Duku traveled through the Republic without changing his look, Anakin wore a black leather suit before encountering an at work incident leading to an asthma issue, etc.

Nautolan, Togruta, Voss, Gormak, and Kel Dor. Then I'd be temporarily satisfied.

This would be a really easy way to make some money in the Cartel Market. Just saying

I would still like to see a developer response to this, if they do that sort of thing.

Sith/Dark Jedi that dress like Jedi: Reven, Duku, Ajunta Pall, Atris, Kreia, Starkiller, Yun. Jedi that dress like Sith/Dark Jedi: Reven, Qui-gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Maris Brood, Barriss Offee, Dar'Nala, Galen Marek, Dark Woman, Luke Skywalker, Atris. As for the people who wear masks, those are mostly to cover scars obtained in battle or help them breath. Neither the Empire nor the Republic are light/dark. It comes down to the individual. There are Dark Jedi and Light Sith. The cloths they wear reflect that. In reality your "alignment" doesn't effect your fashion sense, so it's stupid for it to in game.

I think they should have made all the non-force users to be on both sides. It could have been done with minimal changes. Imperial trooper: Join the OG Havoc squad. Imperial Smuggler: Haven't played their class yet but they usually go to the highest bidder. SIS Agents/Imperial defector: already there. Republic Bounty Hunter: Same as smuggler. Highest bidder.

If they put in SGR I really hope there is an opt out option like they have for skipping cut-scenes. Not a big fan of that decision.

I'd really not like to see this thread die. Especially without a response from a Dev or a CSR. This would be amazing for F2P as well. They could make it a Cartel Market option. You pay X amount of coins and you can use both factions gear appearance. Just think of how many people would pay for that.

I really hope this isn't the problem. lol. I'd love to hear something from a developer on this subject.

Can we please get some BH armor that looks more like Ironman/War-Machine than a goofy astronaut please? Very few sets even resemble the Fett's gear.

I really hope this gets changed in the future. I want to make a Reven style dark jedi and this is putting a huge damper on my day.
