I think not ever having to buy a starter mount on any toon I ever roll is pretty much worth it. Starter kit items will never give you an advantage on a sub based MMO but they are neat little things that come with it.

This. I'm kind of suprised that people thought that they would actually have combat and leveling advantage with a virtual pet. I guess the little description could have been worded better.

It really doesn't seem like Jedi and Sith are in need of single target dps increases. Typically, force users in pretty much all SW movies and games were never huge AOE damage dealers. So, it makes sense if you think about it that way. I believe that the developers may buff their AOE damage somewhat, but it never as good be as good as BH and Troopers.

its a major issue with the game currently and needs sorting out as it can be a game breaking issue.

 

i hate to say this but WOW has done very well in sorting this common MMO issue out to near perfection.

There were many issues that Blizzard didn't fix within the first month of WoW's release also, probably many more.

I think most MMO vets are afraid of the "Alliance" stigma and the type players the "good guys" usually attract. I'm playing Sith just because I'm a Sith kind of person.

 

In real life? That's hard to believe. You should be in jail if that's true.

I don't have any stats to back this up but most people like to play as a Neutral/Evil to Evil sided character in rpgs.
