  1. Dance off, Dune Sea. 1/1/12 at 7 PM CST (5 PM PST). A friendly dance off between Empire and Republic, bring your speeders and set your companions to passive, this will be crazy. Will probably evolve into pvp battle later, but try to keep it friendly for a little while. Contact Spin (Empire) or Marbo (Republic) for details.
  2. Join us for a cross-faction dance party on Tatooine. Located in the Dune Sea, we will be celebrating the new year under the hot suns. PVP combat is discouraged, but pvp dancing and other emotes are highly encouraged. Bring your party supplies. Be there 1/1/12 at approximately 7 PM CST (5 PM PST). Look for Spin (on the Sith side) and Marbo (Republic side) for any questions. Exact location TBD, probably between the two outposts.
  3. I use windows phone, so there are at least 2 people so far that would enjoy a windows authenticator app...
  4. Please EA/Bioware, come down hard on those who sell credits or power leveling and be harsh on those who buy from them. The game hasn't even officially released and I've started getting whispers from this trash. I can promise I will be reporting every one. I want to play in a game where cheating is not acceptable. It's up to the mods to enforce the game rules and and I hope they administer the harshest penalties to credit sellers/buyers. Just my opinion, anyone agree?
  5. Ya, I get that server stability is top priority, but I can't help feeling like I'm being punished for not ordering hour 1 of day 1. Just super excited for the game. But I also know that once we do get in, we'll appreciate servers that aren't crashing and we'll be so engrossed by the stories that all (or most) will be forgiven.
  6. well i meant 50 waves spread 10 minutes apart, with 1/50 the number of people in each wave as today. get the same number of people in, but spread the server load out, you know?
  7. I hope they do more than 5 as well. My guildmate who got in today says the server is nearly empty and he's having difficulty finding people to group with aside from the same 5 people he sees everywhere. And I wanna play too
  8. In this launch BW is adding waves of players to the servers because the flood caused by letting everyone on at once would risk server crashes. But I wonder if there is a more efficient way of getting people into the game. Consider not 5 waves in a day but instead 50 ripples spaced in the same time frame. Smaller groups of people, but a much larger number of groups would mean the pulses of server load would be more evenly spread out and more people could get on without stressing the servers. Better yet, a constant stream of people getting access throughout the day would most efficiently maximize player access without overloading the servers. Of course, I may have a completely incorrect view of server mechanics, so please correct me if I'm wrong. If you like this idea, please discuss it and maybe it'll catch Bioware's eye.
