  1. I'm in after 0800 PDT and I'm not seeing any sign of an XP boost.
  2. Not progression quests. Dailies/reps aren't really story advancing. Though when I hit 50 if my choices are pvp/crafting/2-4 dailies, bleh.
  3. I'd much rather story quests give too much XP than be forced to do warzones/space combat and waste time LF flashpoint/heroic groups.
  4. AFAIK there is no cross faction mailing. Youd have to use the GTN and hope someone didnt ninja your item while it was up.
  5. And this is why most test drives have a salesman with you. The dealer doesn't want to put up with your crashes.
  6. I think someone else already started that. Something like 'I used to be able to read, then I took a cylak to the knee".
  7. Other than how movie theaters operate is now a common business practice, I wonder what it would take to get a suit like that to pass first blush.
  8. I'm guessing you weren't informed because you didn't really read the text that pertained to the game/order or the email with the code... Your failure to read the rules doesn't give rise to a duty on the part of EA/Bioware to let you in earlier. Ergo, they aren't liable to you for anything. Let me re-use this analogy: You arrive at a movie 15 minutes before showtime. There are two hundred people in front of you with tickets. You buy a ticket. Do you then: A) Go wait at the back of the line or B) Run to the front, cut two hundred people and yell "I paid the same as you so place in line should all be the same" only to suffer a nuclear wedgie?
  9. I didn't pre-earlier because I'd followed the game, signed up for beta, stopped following the game looked at the game, realized it was out and then pre-ordered.
  10. Yeah. If things keep going @ Tuesdays pace them being "wrong" will result in me getting 6 days of early access instead of 5. If things go slower then Tuesday a "wrong" time frame will net me 5 days of early access instead of less than 5. I fail to see the downside for me. Also, the terms: may or up to ! = WILL or SHALL /starting to ponder if some of the QQ wouldn't be here if schools were better at teaching reading comprehension and we stopped with the special snowflake participation award nonsense. //should clarify in the US its always been UP TO 5. No clue about other countries sales material.
  11. Note quite. I see where you're trying to go, but you know if you arrived on Jul 21 you're seeing the movie long before the girl who showed up Dec 1. The not knowing or even being given a guesstimate is rather fail tho. /is an adult who can deal with a SWG* or anticipated range, has a harder time dealing with "whenever" *scientific wild a**** guess.
  12. No, they'd clog trade chat. For some reason trolls are too stupid to figure out how to use the actual general chat channel.* *Applies to WoW, assumes trolls will follow suit and muck up an inappropriate channel rather than use a general channel.
  13. Possibly. While they are staggering now that's out the door on the 20th. Further, with what appears to be a very low number of people invited on day 1 with a very early cut off (2pm CST) it seems they don't actually trust their servers to be scaleable. Sure there's not much lag but if a server is at 1% capacity there'd better not be. Then there are the issues with logins/client downloads/installs/patches/graphics cards that are still (forgot to mention the sexist quest bug for the female bounty hunter) show stoppers that have been present a long while in Beta. I'm not sure how their already overstressed support system will deal with a deluge on the 20th. If they haven't been able to handle the small numbers let on day 1 of EGA, they're going to need a higher power or six come the 20th. I wish them the best but their tight lipped policy and seeming inability to figure out a decent server load combined with what appears to be zero effort to fix known issues has me not holding my breath.
  14. So tell me how you deal with movie theater lines if you arrive after a lot of other people? Cut to the front of the line because you paid the same price as everyone else?
  15. Yes. Otherwise it's not truly a soft opening rather something more akin to a private party.
  16. Not everyone has been constantly updating it. Also IIRC it depends what your build was whether you can just patch it or need to start from scratch.
  17. I guess my issue is the rumors or tales of people getting in ahead of those who have earlier pre-order submission date. If that's true /QQ.
