  1. Guss Tuno! He heals you with Jedi powers!
  2. I would love to see that commercial.
  3. Why not just reset the cooldown on your stun break on death? Or just get a working system to deal with the issue.
  4. I find that I do better after I get home from the bars. I'm already doing less thinking, and act more on instinct.
  5. Not passing and calling incs gets me a bit fired up. I'm usually a laid back dude, though, so I tend to let it slide. What does get me, however, is when someone starts to berate the team. Being constructive is fine, but when someone in Huttball says, "why are all you *********** idiots fighting back there? Move up!" I get irked and follow it up with a G*YS and enter troll mode on that person.
  6. Make sure to use the grade 5 beam generator. Compared to the grade 7 beam generator (6 shots per second - no other stats), the grade 5 puts out much more damage (9 shots per second - no other stats). Unless there are hidden stats that I don't know about, this is the go to load out for me. It did take a couple of tries yesterday to finish the daily heroic mission, but I like to equate that to my hands being cold ...
  7. Clicked the link ... closed the tab once the music started.
  8. Awesome! Thank you very much for this information.
  9. I just got HK-51 for my level 7 alt. When I entered a fight with him, after the fight, he had the red broken armor looking icon flashing over his bars stating that he does not meet the requirements for the level 50 equipment he came geared with. I was hoping that it would just scale down, and increase as you level, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case.
  10. The safe zone was supposed to be Nar Shaddaa, which is where the neutral GTN was as well. I admit that I was tired of Huttball after Huttball after Huttball because the opposite faction was essentially done for the night, leaving us with the same faction against each other. I still don't like facing my faction in warzones, but I suppose it's better than waiting for a half an hour ... just to play Huttball against my own faction. I also don't think that one should be able to play as both factions on the same server. I understand what you are getting at, though I don't agree since there is a very clear line between the factions, and it would not make sense, in my opinion, to have them team up for anything. ...except maybe bounty hunters and smugglers. Why they are attuned to a specific faction and not a criminal organization other than for the class stories is beyond me.
  11. I'm for this idea. The problem I have when people say they want to keep the classic orange gear class specific is that it isn't really class specific, just weight specific. Heavy orange armor can be worn by either Juggernauts/Guardians as well as Bounty Hunters and Troopers, even though you can clearly tell which class it is made for. Underneath that is the faction restriction, which I'm on the fence about keeping. While I would love to outfit my Trooper with Bounty Hunter gear, I can't, yet I can put it on my Juggernaut. It would look silly for a Bounty Hunter to be wearing Trooper armor, however, with the Havoc symbol on their chest (unless they hunted down a member of Havoc Squad ... I'm looking at you, Tanno!). So class restrictions off, yes. Faction restrictions off, maybe.
  12. Third Faction Classes: Trooper/Bounty Hunter = Soldier - Infighter(Vanguard/Powertech) or Ranger(Commando/Mercenary) Just wants to fight and get real paid; working with both the Empire and the Republic at times, as well as any private sector civilians that would want to hire them. Smuggler/Agent = Shipjacker - Opportunist(Scoundrel/Operative) or Fringer(Gunslinger/Sniper) A pirate that preys upon any weak or lucrative targets, regardless of faction. Everyone wants a piece of them, whether if be for revenge or their services. Knight/Warrior = Brawler - Berserker(Sentinel/Marauder) or Gladiator(Guardian/Juggernaut) Like the mercenary, but only melee based. Perhaps a rough character that had been getting into fights all their life, and things have come back to bite them. We could use a non-force-using melee class. Consular/Inquisitor = Technologist - Gadgeteer(Shadow/Assassin) or Droidsmith(Sage/Sorcerer) Relying on droids and gadgets to get them through various situations either ranged or melee. Maybe they created a droid that has gone berserk, and they are the only ones with the means that can put it down. The third faction's fleet could be Port Nowhere or some other fringe station. Queueing for PvP would let the character choose which side to queue for. Depending on the number of players in the queue from each faction, joining for the side with the lower amount of players would give a small bonus to coms/creds. The problem with changing what is already there is the story. So creating a whole new faction, with their stories, exclusive planets, and dialogue would be the best route to go, perhaps in an expansion. Just suggestions for a topic of discussion while I'm bored at work.
  13. Are you serious? I'm going to take the rest of the day off and hit this place ... HARD. Those medpacks are no joke.
  14. Wait a second here. You have to PvP in order to wear PvP gear? Go figure! The ability to wear crafted battle master and war hero gear is a reward for attaining those ranks through PvP. I don't do much, if any, PvE, and at the moment, couldn't care less about campaign gear. What I gather is that to get PvE gear, I will need to *gasp* PvE! Oh my stars!
  15. Level 50 and Valor 60. Before 1.2, you needed a valor of 60 to wear the purchased battle master gear. Now, you only have to be level 50 and buy it with coms. Being that valor 60 gives you the battle master title, I see no issue with it. Like with the crafted war hero gear requiring valor 70, which grants you the war hero title. Either way, to wear PvP armor, you will need to PvP. Go figure.
  16. I agree with you that the set bonuses should transfer into any piece of orange armor, but I guess they haven't figured out a decent way to do that yet.
  17. Could have sworn it was for both sets. Oh well, set bonuses aside, my underlying point still stands. I'm a scoundrel anyways, and would rather wear armor with an augment slot since the set bonuses are pretty "meh" to me and our PvP armor is ugly.
  18. There aren't any set bonuses for wearing a complete suit of social gear, whereas there are set bonuses for wearing PvP armor. Being able to remove the mods from existing BM gear and placing them into the crafted PvP oranges will retain that set bonus - it will not be retained with social gear. While we are allowed to take the mods and now armoring out of our existing BM gear, if we want to keep the set bonuses for it with an augment slot, we have to use the critical crafted orange. There are other schematics for orange gear if you can find them, where they require a certain level to use. Should we just reduce all orange gear to not have a level restriction, or a social restriction? What I gather from your OP is that you're level 50, haven't PvP'd enough to get the WZ coms to buy BM gear, and so you want to try and craft it, but it restricted you because your valor (from PvP) is too low, and so you just want it because you want it.
  19. I only have 60 valor, but I am able to purchase and use the schematics for war hero gear.
  20. As a scoundrel, I see the PvP set bonuses as useless for my play style. So I might just end up plugging them into orange gear so I don't look like a complete tool.
  21. I'd rather they keep the countdown for unbalanced teams so it can hurry up and end, I get nothing, and requeue. That way I only lose 2 minutes of my time rather than up to 15. Lately, I've started out in a warzone with 3 other people, only to fill the team up halfway through, and even then with a false sense of hope that the team will come back, some will look at the scores, and quit thinking they won't get the 3 medals. At least then stop the timer when the team reaches 6 or 7 players instead of interrupting it when just one person joins to combat the latter.
  22. I would much rather be in a guild of mature players, and preferably those players being over 18, as I can use my colorful language and sexual remarks without having to hold my tongue/fingers. What it really comes down to is respecting those in your guild, and the guild itself. Not everyone will be ok with everything you do, but it's easier to have a conversation with a more mature person about an issue than with (most) teenagers. I feel that when you're in a guild, and you're wearing the guild tag, you're representing said guild. This is why I choose not to trash-talk or create conflicts with random people, as I want to uphold the image of my guild. When I see others saying, "wow, you suck," or, "you're an idiot, why didn't you (insert action here)," I get a bad taste in my mouth for that player, and it makes me not want to associate with whatever guild they're in, as it paints a bad picture for the rest of their members, and more often than not, it's a true portrait. Age doesn't always have everything to do with being mature, but it helps to weed the immature out more. In the end, just don't be a douche!
