Gaming on both the PC and Xbox. I play RPGs, FPSs, and MMOs.
  1. I hope we remember that whenever you want to play Grand Theft Auto (Scotland), or Battlefield (Sweden), or Arkham City (England), etc.
  2. Im sure its being said and Im glad about the new system but for the mean time people say that they wait until everyone has greeded before needing for companion but what if they could have used it for companion, then if they knew you were going to need then they probably would have too. There is another problem that if two people want to wait until everyone else has gone, an they aren't communicating for whatever reason (eg. language) then how do you know if they are waiting like you or they just comparing to see if they should need or not.
  3. I play a 50 guardian and we get 28 combat abilities: 4 of those are defensive cooldowns, one of which is the require companion one. The only ones I rarely use are the two aoe stun/slows and the 'enure' cooldown which is pretty pointless. That leaves 24 abilities so you can fit them all on your two centre bars. I also use a naga and its very easy to find space for the other 12 without even using modifiers on your keyboard (or 10 if you use the two index buttons). Sorry but it sounds like you simply haven't though about it because I can cope with 24 abilities in my sleep.
  4. Have the devs said it will come in the future?
  5. I found the imperial boarding party on mandalorian raiders to be very difficult to tank considering the fact that none of the four can be considered a main boss and 3 of them (all but the inquisitor) had the abiltiy to start attacking the healer either interrupting them or from range where it was difficult for me to even notice. An OT would have been a great help.
  6. I agree with you on the whole, but to presume there aren't cons to the system is ignorant. It defeats an element of diversity if you can have 2 roles, letalone 3 and hence restricts the idea of 'meaningful decisions' but my main worry about it is the person who rolls need on some tanking gear in a fp that I just tanked because they need it for their other spec. Whilst I would like a dual spec so I can level dps (before I get my healing companion) and group as a tank, ignoring the problems to which there may be solutions is unwise.
  7. You can tank and dps as a juggernaut you know...
