The only thing keeping the good ship Tortanic afloat is the desperate lack of an alternative. The game was released when it was for a reason. I hazard a guess in 6 months the sub numbers will have crumbled.

I have several friends who test games too, they said SWTOR was rubbish and urged me to wait for gw2. did you see what i did there? I am a longtime gw player, i have no pink glasses as far as 2 is concerned. No game matches upto the hype players create for it. but if it is only half as good as people think it will be twice as good as this game.

yeah right whatever Casual for me is someone who is nice and relaxed about gaming, does not need to play 50 hours a week, does not go into spasm when they see sunlight or girls, mostly they do not cry about every little thing that upsets them. Some of them are damn good at gaming too

You do realise the whiners have jobs, they work hard and dont have time to farm commendations all day and night, but would like some even combat for their money. What they do however is pay the same money as the basement dwelling social fund gang, who are the ones who DO have the time to waste. You seem to have got your gamers mixed up arse backwards. Well enjoying is an exaggeration, what they are doing is making do with what is available till a better option emerges. If anything half decent launched now sw subs would crumble pretty fast. EA knew what they had on their hands and released it now precisely because they knew what they had on their hands. Its dull, its average and its longevity is questionable Its a great single player game.. as an mmo it sucks bigtime

No its not, dont delude yourself. If there was anything else new worth playing on the market 50% of people would be gone like TODAY. Bioware have been very crafty on their release, ensuring a good financial return for themselves. They know full well the nature of the gamer. Their are one or two things on the horizon that they full well know will shatter their sub numbers.
