  1. You're right, but the "best" guilds left the game long ago because they realized that this game will only have very casual raiding content. It's really sad they give a damn about more hardcore players but thats the way it goes nowadays. The most money is being made from the mainstream casual players and not from the 2-5% hardcore players.
  2. Need an answer for that, i pulled out all of my enhancements which means now all my Battlemaster gear will be worse than the gear from the people that just left their bad mods there? I swapped out 5 enhancements and 2 mods, so that means losing 7 x 25 expertise?
  3. Why dont they just remove all the gear and let everyone play naked? People want to achieve something, people that invest more time want better rewards, thats just human nature. If i do more work than you then i will be able to buy a better car, drive faster etc. Bioware just hands out the same Ferraris to everyone, be it afking scrubs or hardcore PvPers.

You can just get to level 50 and join some ranked warzone solo games, lose like 80% of the games and you will still get your ranked warzone commendations, same as you get warzone commendations now, the difference between losing and winning is so minimal that it practically doesnt matter, there are dozens more medals to get and the cap is only 8! so everyone who gets 8 medals a match which is so friggin easy in 1.2 (catch a hutball, throw a hutball, score a goal, kill a hutball carrier etc.) will get like 90% of the commendations the winning team gets. A couple weeks later everyone who puts in some time will have their warzone gear, will then remove the mods and put them into augmented orange gear and will have the best gear possible, better than the ranked warzone players who need 2400+ rating for some of their stuff which has no augment slots.
  5. Anyone knows if they added new good looking orange craftable gear? Are there boots/gloves/belt/bracers? Because right now there are only Helmets, Chests and Legs craftable and most of them look crappy.. If this goes live most people will run around in a couple Level 10 orange items because those are the easiest and cheapest to craft and get that augment proc. At least the rated warzone gear should have these augment slots, then people would not complain.
  6. I really enjoyed my Pyro PT, it felt good, alot of fun, not much utility or survivability but we were competitive, now it feels boring and so damn predictable - totally destroying the fun of the class. Really feels like i am quitting if this goes live.
  7. What do you need to buy one piece of regular war hero gear? Do you need the equivalent Battlemaster item + regular warzone commendations?

I guess it depends a bit on when 1.2 is released and how challenging and fun the new operation is, my powertech is getting quite boring in 1.2, very predictable and boring to play, so not sure if i will play much longer, the game seems very very casual catered, about 95% of the more hardcore raiding guilds already quit because the raid content is so damn easy and uninsipired. Tera will be coming out in a couple weeks and Diablo 3 will be released in 2 months, at least by then i think SWTOR is over for me.

New Pyro will be insanely boring..at least before 1.2 we could take some risks, try to force the kill and overheat..got a couple back to back procs, now its just..oh wait another 6 seconds and then hope to get another proc, we can still be unlucky, but its certain in a timewindow of 6 seconds nothing can happen, also our rotation got simplified even it was still easy before, they made the new Pyro boring and predictable not fun and dangerous like it was before.
  10. From the patchnotes there seems to be only one spot in Belsavis where we can get that crystal, that spot will be camped day and night....

Funny thing is that the powertech is the most fragile glass cannon, our defense sucks, yeah we can get lucky and get a nice string of burst, but if we get jumped its all over, no tricks, no escape, no powerful defensive cooldowns, just that crappy shield where we still take 75% of the incoming damage. Tank-Assassins also have a high burst potential and they are much harder to kill than us - also Marauders, they have insane burst and so much more defensive and surivial abilites. Powertechs are bursty but they are also the real glass cannons in this game.

If you were a decent pvper (who knows how to shut down healers down and KILL them, instead of just dpsing them forever while they heal themselves) and used the TD build you would have probably had "only" about 500k damage, but many more killing blows and also probably not have lost the game 0:5. Sustained damage is good for long PvE fights but not really useful in PVP except of max damage screenshots. Burst and actual killing/shutting down healers is what matters in PvP.
  15. i approve to this thread...that system should be common sense, why isnt it implemented asap?
