Hello all. First of all let me apologise if this topic has already been covered. But, I have google searched and searched this forum for the answers I seek and couldn't find any. So I'm sorry if I missed something out there already. These questions relate to possible 1v1 in OWPvP and normal WZ. The questions I have regarding this amazing class so far is as follows: I want to play as a Tactics Vanguard but, I was wondering do tactics specced troopers have good survivability that PvP tanks do? What are useful Utilities to pick? Even if I stay tactics should I gear up with shield and absorption rating mods? Or just go out full power, alacrity and surge? Could you give me a break down on what stats I should go for as a Tactic Vanguard please? One final question is: Is a Tank specced Trooper viable in PvP? Hey all I was wondering which faction is the under dog in normal WZ and Ranked WZ at 60. Do Imperials seem to win most of the time or does Republic? As I would like to join the faction that seems to be the underdog as I do like to have a challenge when I play games. Is 50/50, 70% Imp 30% Rep or vice versa. Thanks. Voice

Hey Ah ok thanks Lhancelot. I understand that better now. Does that only really come into better use between 55 and 60 then? Cause I don't think that would be too useful between 10-55? At the moment I'm level 17 so I'm thinking that I might pvp level to 30 then normal level to 50 or so then continue PvP leveling while using the weapon thing. Thanks. Voice

Hey Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate all info you have giving me. My plan was to use PvP exp as well as Valor exp while leveling up. One thing a few of you have mentioned is saving up weapons.. how does that actually work? Don't they have a time limit before you can't refund them? My only real goal is to try and have a load of PvP consumables and also have comms to buy Exhumed(?) and items I need to start PvPing at 60. Voice

Hey I have just recently came back to SWTOR and have decided to restart and level a Gunslinger as I tried playing my old level 50 classes and I feel that much has changed and it will just be better to start a-new and learn a new class from the beginning rather than at end game. So that being said I was thinking to just level via PvP and only doing class quests. How viable is that as I read an old post from last year which said that he didn't need to worry about mods etc as his gear would get boosted anyway. Is this still the case? Also I expect that once I reach 60 the gear I have won't be good for any pve content since it will still technically be low level. Has anyone else that has done this found this hard to recover from? When it comes to comms my plan was, once I'am capped I would convert my comms to rcomms untill im capped then reached cap in comms and then buy pvp stims etc as I think that was written in a sticky at the top of the page but I'm not sure if its still viable in 3.0 I also have bought the PvP experience perks on my Legacy as well. If anyone could give me some advice on leveling this way or if it's a no go. Would it just be better to level the normal way? Thanks. Voice

Hey I started replaying SWTOR again after a long period of time and I'm actually looking forward to do some RP. But, like most people I like to PvP aswell. So I was wondering.. I'm decided to play a Trooper and I would like to know how the PvP Republic side of things? Do we win wz, hows the rated wz going, is there any RP/PvP guilds that are recruiting? Hey I just came back to SWTOR a couple of days ago and resubbed on the same day aswell when I realised that I still enjoyed the game. Which is a good thing. Initially I was a bit skeptical when I had heard that SWTOR seemed deserted now but when I was online Korriban had over 100 players online on the planet and when I went to the fleet it was full aswell. Well from what I could see and knew how the population was distributed. So all in all I was pleased that I wasnt coming back to a ghost town of a game. That being said I'am now looking for a Guild that specialises in the PvP aspects of the game. I'm looking for a guild that organises daily Guild run Warzone matches. I dont really mind if they are full guild matches or even half of the guild participating. I just want to be able to have fun while playing with guildies. If the guild also runs PvE aspects of the game aswell as PvP then that is a upside aswell. I'am looking for a guild that already has a established presence of the realm. I'am a Sith Assassin and at this time I'am level 18. But, I will level up pretty fast as I have at this moment a lot of time as I care for my gran which means that when my gran doesnt need me I play the game. So because of that I have no life. Hey I was wondering where do I get the schematics to make mods and armoring modifications 23. I can craft 22 mods no problem from the crew skill trainer but I can't seem to find the 23 mods anywhere. I have checked the AH for any schematics and found none. Is it something you get from a Slicing Lock Box or UT? I have hardly ever gotten in Cybertech Schematics from UT at all. If anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks. Voice

Hey I've been having a look and it seems to start the Ilum quest chain I need to start a quest called First Strike but I don't seem to find it anywhere. I have checked all ships in Imperial Fleet, Corellia, Voss and Belsavis and can't seem to find it. Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks.
