This thread is not so much for anyone else as it is for myself. There is game information that can be found in faqs, other websites etc, and then there is knowledge learned through gameplay and discovered by players themselves that can be invaluable. I have already lost track of some threads and posts before i came up with this idea, and i dont want to have a subscription list 30 deep that may only contain one reply to a thread that has useful informaton. as i gain more entries, i will begin to organize it better. this might not be needed anyway if there happened to be a forum search funtion but what can you do. feel free to bump it to subscribe to the thread. also, feel free to as informaton as you see and if its useful and helpful i will add it in. please let me get 2 reserved spots before you start to flame.

how long ago in the past is this supposed to be set? they may have light sabers and faster than light travel... but they obviously have not done their dairy growth hormone tests and its effect on their youth. give it some time, im sure bioware will introduce the first galactic FDA soon enough and the regulations will start pouring in.

really? is there some problem with wanting to know whats coming up, maybe for no other reason then curiosity? I would also like to know whats coming up just because.... I don't mean to be rude but... go play the game and stop trolling the forums and posting just to see your count go up.

other than the large heroic quests or flashpoints, i have not once been able to find a group or partner to just run around and do random side quests to speed it up / make it easier, and i am not part of a guild yet. needless to say i also have been soloing most of the game and been doing very well. if you cant solo some of the "normal" stuff then you need to go back and do more side quests to gain more levels... understand how equipment / mods work////something b/c you are obviouly too far ahead and attacking creatures that are too high in level in general or using the complete wrong gear. and yes, the companion tanking makes a world of difference.

this is true, i think putting together a few of the other replies into one place, the companion conversations are based on affection level, not character. they can be started at any point, as one reply said you can wait until the end to do have them, however if your affection level is high enough to unlock the next 5 conversations and you are not to that point in the story yet, they will indeed be held back until you are at the correct spot in the story. I myself just had two back to back bc i finally got to where i needed to be in the story line

Ok the biggest point is still being missed. The devs in those other games didnt decide where the players were going to meet up and gather, the players did during natural gameplay. so grab your sign and picket the location you want... or do you want bioware to send a rep over to your house and play the game for you as well? C'mon Bioware! why havent you cured cancer yet or made a time machine or something...... you obviously failed at this game by not spelling out the social location for us to hang out.

I have been on another planet and still had side missions from a previous planet shown, and when i went back there were no problems when i went to complete them. I was also watching a live stream of like a 1000 2000 whatever guys running around. anyway in the vid the guy streaming opened his mission log.... he had a HUGE list of side missions that were not done and all were listed, by planet. I do believe you can go back and finish missions at any point. Now... getting new ones i dont know. my first planet stop i made was to another starter planet to get codex entries... when i was there i was not able to take any side missions at all. i know the missions are listed 1-10 for the planet.... now i dont know if that had anything to do with it being a starter planet... or lets say you are level 45 and try to go back to taris if it wont let you take them.

because we all arent as lucky as you and grew up knowing all along we didnt have to be by the mod station in SWTOR. When i first started i thought you had to be beside it as well so:p

when i started out i received this gun called flashy, it glitched out and i can only assume in the same way you are describing. even if not, then there are two issues that need looked into. best course is to submit a ticket ingame and describe the item by name, possible what quest it may have come from, what mod station you are using, anything that may help them out. if its a single glitched item it may take time for some of the smaller things to get looked at. in the very least, they will become aware of it, or at least another tick beside the issue saying it needs looked at.. and hopefully send some sort of decent reply. who knows maybe even just give you a non-gltiched item.

I am looking for a database that has just materials, in this case scavenging, that has them sorted by level for easy viewing. on torhead for example, you can go through the menus and say find a list of all the mods in the game, lowest level up to highest, from there click on one and get info and stats. however, i can not find a way to sort, or just a pre-made category in general, that will list what im looking for. ie. http://www.torhead.com/item/1TUXCkK/amorphous-carbonite here i can see the material listing, which is an item that can be found through scavenging, but I linked to this from a random item that it happen to be a component for making. Its category is listed as Database - Items - Uncategorized, but even going to the entire uncategorized page, i can not see filters that let me view just those items i want. Any help would be great thanks.
