It doesn't help that the fragments are super hard to get. I'm halfway through the reputation track and have about 300 (20%) fragments, which is completely insane.

But...They did inform us. The achievement description was very clear.

20k is still 5 weeks of work you'd need to put in. I can't remember seeing them either, but I always check achievements for things like this. If your total was reset, that should be fixed though. Thing is, if this is made available, then EVERY other time limited achievement or reward ever should be made available again. Which is a whole different discussion, but still.

Thing is, you didn't do the event thing. Since launch, players that miss out on an event thing get less than those that don't. Rep vendor not being a thing was weird, yeah. Cap was low so that you had to be dedicated to get the achievement. That's why imo it should be restricted to those that did it - they put the work in, read the cheevo description, etc. I mean, I guess they could have made clear it only counted if got during the event, but the cheevo itself mentioned that.

Just because you don't use the titles doesn't mean they aren't a reward. And if they do that, what reward are those who did the event going to get that you don't get? But a new rep vendor would be good yeah.

Disagree on that. The achievement quite clearly stated 'achieved max reputation DURING THE SEASON'. While I do agree in continuing to get reputation afterwards for the special titles etc., the cheevo should be a special reward for those who a) put in the extra effort or b) read the description.

So, despite almost reaching rank 100, 'The Shadow of the Underworld' and 'Season Objective master' and associated rewards are impossible for me to get. Despite there being 40 days left, I will be 9 short of the required 100 weekly objectives completed no matter what I do. Why not make it so that even if they don't reward and seasons points, we can still complete the other objectives after we've got the first 7? It seems really unfair that despite getting 7 constantly for weeks, I'll barely miss out on the achivements.

They've already said they're going to feats of strength (which means ungettable), and the gear/set bonuses will stop working.

Agreed. Delay 7.0. Introduce SOME new things, such as Seasons 2.0 (and maybe weapons in outfit), but nothing of substance till you fix this.

That's also been the case. Set bonuses either stop working, become useless because the set was tied to the armouring rather than the shell, or still technically work but due to abilities changing/being removed/etc. they might as well no longer work.

Nothing. Gear is regularly made obsolete. Every time we get a level increase, whatever you currently have becomes worthless. Been this way for 10 years, and if you wanted to spend real money, that's on you. Sorry, but I kinda agree with the rest of your post, just not this bit.

Thing is, this is basically just going back to how it used to be. Playing solo used to get you nowhere. Edit: One thing I haven't seen mentioned....Ranked. Toxic cesspool that it is, to do well in ranked you'll now need to be a top-tier NiM player as well as being good in PvP. You might be a PvP god, but you'll never have as good gear as those NiM PvErs.

This is nothing new. 1k achievements worth of points were wiped off the map when everything in the Original Dark vs. Light event was removed. Ditto for Nightmare EV and KP, and the Galactic Command achievements. I'm guessing this is just the first time it's happened to you?

So I just joined an in-progress FP via GF. As soon as I did, got instantly booted from the group (to the point where I loaded into the FP for about 3 seconds before being kicked out of it), and of course GF then stops me from doing anything for 20 mins because I 'left a group that was in progress'. Can Devs not make it so that only happens if you leave voluntarily?

Excellent news. Maybe now some of those 'kill 55 people' achievements in PvP will actually become doable.
