Most likely it is in as a time sync. It probably wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the load times. Thing is, a good time sync is not noticeable. This one is very noticeable.

Most of the players want a LFG tool. One of the reasons people are quitting is because it is hard to form groups on low pop servers.

If AC's are your class, then is should be the AC's that each have a unique class story, not the base classes.

If they let you change your AC and you don't like that, then you don't have to participate, just because you don't like doesn't mean no one should be able to do it. Besides if they allowed it they could add another money sync in, seems they cant get enough of those. I an game where it is hard to find dps to fill group spots, let alone tanks and healers. Any and all dual-specing/ AC respecing should be allowed. "Meaningfullness" of a choice in a game, a hobby, is in conflict w/ efficiency and playability of that game. If you are looking for meaningful choices, I suggest you endeavor to live a richer fuller life and not delude yourself that the ones you make in a game have any true meaning.

Food for thought After the 6-month subs and free time runs out, how many active subs will there be? The six-month sub people will be gone but so will their money. The less money coming in the less new content you will get. If this game fall too low below 1 mil subs (current 1.3) it will either go free to play or be shut down.

I hope this is not what they consider multi-spec. Having to redo your whole plot allotment is a half measure, especially if you must pay the respec fee each time. A proper multi-spec system saves presets of point allotments and should not be tied to legacy. If we are to get a true multi-spec system then the field respec feature is a redundant and unnecessary money sync.

There will be mergers once they find a way to spin it positively. Something like this: "We have increased optimization of our servers and are now able to allow more accounts per server. We can now accommodate the same amount of accounts on half as many servers. Taking this into account, we are going to merge some of our less active servers to enhance the player experience of those populations.
