  1. Login to state I love my Operative heal's now. The changes have made healing better for me in pvp and I have no issues keeping people up or myself even with two or more focus fires. I love the healing again as an operative so much I quit lvling my Sith healer. These changes are what I've been waiting for. Good to have non-force using love. I'm glad again that I made the choice to be an Agent at launch instead of a force user. Not only do I get the great story and play something I love, but the quality heals to go with it. I'm not unstoppable, but I don't even have all Battlemaster pvp gear yet. No one is going to be able to live through everything in pvp; as long as I'm making a difference thats all I can ask for. This is not even including the new medal system that I find enjoyable, as well. Played til servers went down had so much fun with 1.2. Hell, I even forgot about the fact we don't have a push/pull/jump hippdy hop of any sorts like the other classes, but still rocked on. Now if we can just get the ability to manipulate the look of our gear to look like other gear would be a blast. I could fancy a nice officer's uniform with a few medals on it. Have so much mod gear saved in my storage.
  2. Hi Deployed Soldier, My guess you are sitting in Camp Bondsteel Coffee shop with a Makiato in one hand and a mouse in the other trying to do this. Been there myself with WoW. While I was deployed to Kosovo at the time lots of us were playing WoW on our downtime, but my point is even with the crappy net service the locals provide you should be able to download the game and patch fine. This might take longer than normal but you shouldn't have any issues doing it normally. We never had an issue with WoW other than the repeated disconnects from the network nor did we have to use a proxy server that I'am aware of. I don't understand why this would be different with SWTOR. A good tip is move as close as possible to the wireless tower that sends your signal because I know some of those huts/bunkers get poor signal up on the hill further out from the main chowhall. Good luck to you and sorry if I wasn't much help, but all these tips helped me when I was trying to do the gaming thing while keeping in touch with the family. Last resort we had some soldiers have their family express mail them the game downloaded to a drive of some sort fully patched and ready to go. P.S. If you have family, have the local in the PX that does the hand chalk drawings do something for you; you won't regret it. My wife loved it so much she framed it and it still hangs on our wall almost 5 years later. Take care, be safe.
