See most of the people who have stuck with Concealment through thick and thin have learned how to be good even with the nerfs, at least somewhat competitive, with this new patch, those people who know Concealment inside and out are going to have a field day

Resolve only allows you to get stunned twice in a row, save your breaker and l2p. Roots and slows is another matter, you can cleanse those usually. Seriously, I don't like being stunned but it's not that bad.

Valor 87 Operative here on Jung Ma: Operative DPS is not an easy class to play, you have to know the enemy classes, know when to stun, when to move, when to cleanse, it's very involved. Your going to pull less numbers than others, unless you work really hard. That being said. Speaking from personal experience, nothing scares the crap out of me more than a good DPS Operative or Scoundrel opening up on me while I heal, they make excellent healer control. It's hard to be good at it, but if you can, you can do some serious damage to the enemy. If you aren't good at it, your going to be a waste of space on your team, not trying to sound mean. They also excel at 1v1s, ninja capping, etc. TL;DR Good DPS operatives are scary good, bad ones are VERY bad.

Operative Healing needs a nerf, but it's DPS needs some love, mainly in the area of Defensive Cd's and sustained DPS

According to everything I read, Operative DPS Is not viable, so is it just our server, or do we have some hackers or something. Seriously. Operatives like Delvok, Kollo, Menenosyne, topping the boards. How?! Going over Assassins and Marauders. Not every time granted, but still, they shouldn't even be close ever. Pulling 800k DPS,, like it's nothing. Can someone explain. Is it just our server has an influx of Operative DPS players who are good?

Rivik doesn't always have epic team ups, but when he does, it's with Delvok, and then I die before I get up off the floor

Operative cover was a fair nerf, I never used it because I thought it was unfair, You aren't a sniper, you should only be using it for explosive probe. Not Healing. 2nd, Overload shot........ yeah that's pointless. 3rd, No survivability buffs? Seriously? No sustained damage buffs? While Sins get MAUL BUFFS?!

Shadow/Sin just needs better force management, otherwise, its fine, the Volatic Slash damage boost is fine, Tank stuff is fine, but for the love of god, MAUL DOES NOT NEED A BUFF!! And Yes, Operative changes affect basically nothing.

I feel like the additions to Maul are unnecessary and quite frankly worrying

It's about time Mara's Undying Rage got nerfed. But Smash still needs a dps reduction

So let's just add more damage to Maul to make the class ridiculous in PvP and not fix its force energy problem? okay.

From the sound of it, they are going to reduce Maul's damage (Which I am ok with) and Move some damage into Volatic slash etc, to give the Assassin more sustained damage. That would be a fair tradeoff to me, Maul is insane.

Concealment Ops and Decep sins seem to be fantastic at bursting down Healers IMO, as well as controlling them

I found out, Looks like some Operative named Delvok caused it to happen. Apparently he runs some sort of agency of 30 people, and Xaadus changed his name to try and hide from him, Venzon = Xaadus apparently, although he lied to us and said he was a different person. Now he runs Nightmare Squadron and is mass recruiting, he also took the 3 mil in the guild bank for himself

Agreed, I play concealment operative and love it, I refuse to play any other spec, other than heals when playing defense on voidstar

Got maxed out Ranked and Normal Comms, whats the first things I get to ensure I don't get trashed in PvP? This is not my first 55, but I recently returned to the game after a 6 month leave. I have 8 55s, so I know how to PvP, any tips for a Concealment op would be great, I know its not heals or Lethality, but I love the spec and can put serious pressure on key players when I chose, and routinely hit 300-400k

There is an operative tearing *** and leading teams to victory right now in the sub 30 named Delvok, hes currently unguilded, but I've played a few games against and with him, and he actually uses ops announcements to guide the team, he also routinely puts up 300k-400k in numbers unless the game is pressed for objectives and hes focusing on that. Whoever gets him in their guild is gonna have a powerhouse wz player and leader. And he only plays by himself O_o he wins without premades. I hate playing against him.
