  1. Really? I just did the arc a few days ago and was sure he did not pop up... perhaps I missed somthing?
  2. Just did Battle for Illum on my Jedi Knight, and an option shows the Jedi knowing who Serevin is, yet I cannot remember any point when we meet/hear of him... am I missing something?
  3. Favorite: Agent - Fantastically well written, with great characters and choices. Honestly made me want to make Agent my main after completing this! Least Favorite: Smuggler - It has some interesting points, but overall I found it bland and a little boring. Its saved mostly due to the wonderful V/A from the female Smuggler.
  4. I am making my way through the KotEE story, and I just LOVE Vaylin's voice. I do not suppose she could be romanced and become a companion? Go on... I mean yeah she is a mad psychopath, but still...
  5. Not an NPC, but the main reason why my main is a Sith Inquisitor is because of her brilliant voice acting, in particular with Dark Side choices.
  6. Not really had much time to check out much. Last time I played Knights of the Fallen Empire was new, so who knows? Yeah, very good points. I should perhaps point out that I know that they will probably never add them as a race, so this thread is a bit of a jest... though I still hope they do it one day... somehow.
  7. No Ithorian playable race. Why BW? Why!? I mean, I have been waiting for so long to make a male Jedi Shadow... when will I be able to be a cool slug-like hammerhead alien!?
  8. Umm... you still play as your original character, the Outlander is simply now what they are called by others. Perhaps you should wait and try it out before judging it so?
  9. You know, I was thinking about just going to downgrade to F2P, but this news has convinced to stay subscribing. I care about the story more then anything in this game, and it really looks like they are serious in making that a priority again. I have faith in you BW, do not let me down!
  10. I must admit, as someone who loves to re-play quests and stuff on their alts, I was a bit disappointed to find they had changed the way side-quests worked. The lore and immersion value that comes with cut-scene and dialogue is one of the main reasons I play the game, after all. Still, it could be worse. At least the main story and the one-off class missions still felt the same. And it is nice that we still get dialog and not just a very small bit of writing. Thinking about it, I would have actually liked more info in the boxes, they are rather barren. It is a system that is perfect for things like daily quests, but I just think it is a shame that all quests bar class and main are likely going to be like this from now on. It would actually be interesting to find out just why they have done this, and whether it is an attempt to streamline the leveling process or a money saving move. I do think some players underestimate the amount of work and cash that goes into creating these quests, getting the voice actors etc...
  11. MOBA's are not my thing, so it would likely be a no from me.
  12. Indeed. It is not the case that they did not want to continue, but rather they simply could not given what happened after launch. I bet most members of the staff were as gutted as we were. I get the feeling, though, that SoR and its Class Mission could be a toe in the waters by BW, to see if Class Stories will be worthy of being bought back. Especially considering how the game is much more stable and more profitable then it was pre-F2P.
  13. Hmm... I have not played any pre-55 content since before 3.0 launched, so I cannot add to the ongoing investigation. However, it dose seem like some mobs are stronger then before, and it is possibly something BW will/are looking into. That being said, I do kinda think the OP is exaggerating a little in regards to how much of a 'fail' this is. Arena quests are meet to be harder then your average quest. If it is to hard at the moment, why not just skip it and return in a few levels time? I would be more forgiving of such extremes in words if the quest in question was a class one, or even a normal side quest. It just seems a little much to threaten un-subscription/boycott of the x-pack over. May one also ask, what companion are you using and how well geared are they in regards to your level?
  14. I have experienced a few little bugs, but I do not think I have ever played an expansion which did not have issues at launch. To me, the game is far from unplayable. Sorry if that is not the same for everyone else.
  15. Not sure why some are getting so mad at this lightsaber... it is just a first look at one lightsaber. I doubt every Force-wielder will be carrying an exact copy. Anyway, I quite like it.
  16. I'm... not that overly fond of SandBox games, to be honest. Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas are the only open world games that I have really connected with. I tried SWG in the early days, but i just never got on with it. i suppose I just prefer a more linear path. I like to know where to go and what to do. Also, I think core storytelling is best told in such a format. Take Skyrim, for example. It has a beautiful amount of lore and ideas, bu the actual core storylines are rather poor, I would say. That is just my opinion though.
  17. It depends on whether this was done due to VA budget, or an attempt to streamline the leveling process (A common complaint is that long cut scenes for side quests makes the game repetitive, after all.) Cannot say I am that happy with this, but remember this is only side-quests which have received this treatment. It would be nice to hear from the team as to why they have chosen this path, anyway.
  18. It was rather disappointing to find that. I suppose it is either to do with the budget or them trying to streamline the leveling experience. Still, in some ways it is no different then the daily/data-pad quests...
  19. I will wait until I actually experience the new Discipline system myself until I make a decision on its quality. From what I have seen and heard, and I am actually quite interested in it and what it may offer. As I said though, I will just wait and see...
  20. No, I do not think it is. All signs seem to point to the game making a good recovery after going F2P. Financially the game is doing great, and the in-game the world seems very well populated. We also have a big new expansion on the way, which is sure to boost the current number of players. My advice is to just enjoy the game. I am quite confident to say it ain't going anywhere soon.
  21. I am really looking forward to the SoR storyline mostly, and the Discipline system sounds very interesting.
  22. Well, a while ago some of the companion voice actor did tweet that they were recording new lines for their characters. With a class mission being added (Which while just one, could be very interesting and a hint of things to come) as well, it could be that they will at least speak up in some form. Not sure if we will actually get specific companion missions, but who knows?
  23. I dunno. I would like to think so, as I loved the Cathar and new races would add more variety to the game. We will just have to wait and see. If they ever add Ithorians to the game, then I will be a very happy Sith!
  24. Actually, it was five months until subscribers had RotHC for free, and it is not yet free to F2P players (Although they get it free if they pre-order SoR, I think). True, Strafighter and Strongholds were free, but to be honest I would hardly call them expansions, more like updates (Hence why they still came in under the title of 2.*). RoS is very different to them, and much more akin to RotHC in terms of content which, as I said, was purchasable and still is to F2P players. The game itself actually seems to be doing well enough, nice profits and a healthy population. You seem to have a dislike for the game at the moment. Why, may I ask, did you/still do subscribe? Perhaps you should take a brake, or find a game more suited to your taste? No one is forcing you to buy the expansion. It may become free later on. If you really want a refund though, you should probably contact costumer support. Although, personally speaking, I do not think you have a good enough reason to warrant such a thing.
  25. Is it wrong that I am vaguely optimistic? I know I probably should not be, but two planets and a new story makes me hopeful for something. I know Lana will never be a companion/truly romanceable () but like Treek and HK, they could add more optional companions, perhaps with bi/gay romance. Likely I am delusional, but we will just have to wait and see!
