  1. ive played in total about 330 hours on my main to 50 and on my alts. Unfortunately I am not enjoying the alt experience as the story is not enough for me , it has turned out just like other mmos and i keep thinking to myself that im doing tghe samre thing ive alreadydone, even with the new spells. For the £65 I paid, this game was an awesome experience and im so glad I chose trooper, it was an awesome experience getting to play Commando as i missed out on that on SWG. If this game had been catered for mmo players i would be staying but at end game , i cant find anyone to do the darth malgus flashpoint and nearly every planet has max 25-30 people but on ilum its 13 or so round abouts. I canot be bothered getting the battlemaster gear as level 50 pvp has less people joining up than when everyone was in pvp. Also thesocial ten speeder i wanted, i do not want to spend 3 more months just doing flashpoints to get enough social and cahs fpor it. I wanted to help people with heroics but ive found out in order to help people with heroics, those people have to already have done the social aspect of the quest, otherwise they wouldnt need help. So social doesnt work to allow us to help lowbies with heroics. Operations, i have never seen anyone offer to do operations so that part is a waste of time too. I play single player by the way and not groups. According to the updatesa coming more operations is pointless as there is no one offering to do the ones that areavailable now. As ive got 38 days to play, i may log in every so often and kill some player imps but really what else is there to do now ? Anyway for 330 hours for £65 its been a great game, but this isnt a proper mmo, its a single player expeirence with group quests. Itsnot working as intended and its all thanksto world of warcraft we have games as they are today. I will join tera when it comes at Release and hope some of you will be thetre too. Again thanks bioware, even though ths is not a proper mmo with proper mmo aspects (social points is mmo aspect but what else ?) I have still throughly enjoyed this star wars mmo and also im leaving this mmo on a high , not like SWG which was a proper mmo and ended in a total mess, again because of world of warcraft Thanks again this is my feelings at end game. Im posdting in hopes maybe someone wil see this and see how a solo person feels about getting to 50 and doing alt characters. I tried a new alt on tythos and ord mantell but I was only one there both times.. also you have made half the game for imperials, in other words you want me to side with the evil people of society just to paly the game with fresh content ? lol no way i can list several types of crimes that evil people weould do and im not going anywhere near that thanks. Next time for me make a sw mmo were we can play all the characters in a battle between two sides without the empire there . It wouldbe great to play all content without resortying to playing evil characters and saturating our mentals on how to be an evil person etc Thank you now to try complete 70 odd steam games before Tera Releases Enjoy SWTOR everyone, hope you get to 50
  2. Ive just found out that it is also great to help people out while at level 50 just to help them out No personal reward helping is fun too Think ill go to Taris nowand see who needshelp there
  3. I have levelled 50 and doing my utmost to gain social points for a speeder i want on ilum. Flashpoints are great for getting social points, however its a waste of time me trying to go round planet to planet helping people with heroics, if I cant get the social points because; a) People already have the quest and done the initial social interaction with npc, when they need help with it. b) Not every player you help with heroics will go right away back to the quest giver to hand in the quest meaning again just so you get social points. The current system for getting social from helping others with heroics is an inconviieniance for both people needing help and people offering help. Developers if you want people to help others in the game with quests and flashpoints etc, you have done ok with flashpoints, however there is no way we can logically get social points for helping people with heroics for the 2 reasons above. Please can you fix a method that allows us to get social points from heroics, without having us force players we choose to help to go all the way back to the npc that gave them the heroic quest just so we get the initial conversation roll social points, or have us forcing players to go right away back to quest giver to hand in quest for social points then too. You really need to fix social points specifically on heroics. Please help as I like offering to help people from planet to planet with heroics. It is a fun aspect for me at end game as im level 50 now. I need to get some social points when im given the quest as a share quest. Also you need to make it so us who help in heroic quests ar eable to get social points from the quest giver when we hand in the quest. We most often will be alone when we hand in the quest as people we helping most often wont right away go back to the npc that gave that heroic. Please help so us high levels can go about helping others from planet to planet. Please also make it clear somewhere a page on the website for example that tells us what bonuses we get from social points, so more people are willing to offer help.
  4. On Facebook, there appears to be; 1.5 million people who have chosen to like the SWTOR facebook page, after only going live less than 2 months... 1 million people who like the world of warcraft facebook page, after being out for around 6-7 years .
  5. Have you seen how little fixes they are doing ? it may be that reason.
  6. What abougt the most important bug of all the laser effect on many planets. It should be top priority, as it sticks out as the only bug that needs an 8 hour patch ! Why fix all thesel ittle things when we are still playing on worlds with a huge greaphical error blasting right across the screen every few seconds. Come on please can you not see priority ? Or aresome people not getting the laser bug ?
  7. Ok .... Wouldnt it be better though if the light side/dark side option was hidden ? I mean as you said sometimes you chose dark side points because you felt it was right ? Wouldnt it be better if it was hidden, as it would force you to read thestory and pick an answer you feel is the right answer you want for the faction pionts you want ? I have a total of 3850 light side / 0 dark side points last i looked, but that is because i know what is light or darkside... Surely it would be better if the light and dark aspect weas hidden so when i hit level 50 i get a good idea by looking at my light side/fdark side points how well ive done at using the force wisely ?
  8. I wonder if anyone else is with me on this ? The general idea according to Bioware, is that sTWOR would be a story based system. Also they used the conversation role system they use in other games. That is great, I mean I love to choose answers to questions in a game, the conversation role system is actually a greaty idea...however, Why is it that every choice of answer seems to be , light side comment at the top, mid range feelings in the centre, and darkside comment atthe bottom? Also why Tell us in certain situations what is a light side conversation comment and why tell us whats a dark side comment ? this totally ruins the whole point of using multiple choice answers, alongside a story ? I mean how many people have watched in a conversation role when a light side/dakr side request is asked, when in a flahpoint or heroic quest ? Youll see everyone basically chooses the light side points almost instantly or dakrside if your a dark side group in a flashpoint heroic, its like you can see clearly nobody pays 100% attention to the choices given to you because almost instantly everyones points show up on bottom left of screen. Whats thep oinmt in having us listen to a story and then give us multiple choice answers, if you cant mix around the comments so people choose comments based on their natural incline ??? The way the conversation role works is far too easy, it makes it so that all your doing is reading a story, then clicking the mouse to get the story moving on, the choices are basically already set out in a way that you know which of the three options to choose. the game is meant to be story based, but theyve messed up the multiple choice system, whos with nme ? 2 things need to be changed, mix up the multiple choice answers, and also get rid of the light side/dark side icon in the middle of the Circle. This is for these reasons alone, so we live the Star Wars game based on our own desires rather than off what is top answer and what is light side point anser, and so we actually pay attentino to the story by force, because the choices you need to make in the story have to be accurate to the description of the story being told by the quest giver. This is meant to be story driven game isnt it ?
  9. you need to find people to join your group, i dont think hardly anyone picks you for group from the LFG window unless your standing around the computer terminal at the actual flashpoint. You need to get people to come join you, also join a guild as you can get guild mates to help you. Overall its hardly difficult to get a group together when you only need 2-4 people max...
  10. lol Maybe in the end ill get to flirt with her and get a kiss from her like i did from a mission on Corruscant it was
  11. Another factor to consider, is your nmotherboards pic express x 16 slot, is it gen 1.0 or gen 2.0 ? If you go for a 6850 as someone stat4ed above, can this run at pci epxress 1.0 without bottlenecking ?
  12. Everytime I see her holocalls after completing a zone, I get this impression that she is quite fit for an old lady lol Anyone notice this too lol
  13. This game is super awesome, I love it every day , it is as easy to play as Star Wars Galaxies was pre-cu. Love it love it love it
  14. What about coming out with new planets so when we play SWTTOR and when new playersa play SWTOR, each time we roll a class, there isdifferent combinations of planets we can go through to get to max level ? I dont know about you but at end game, i dont think i can live on just operations and flashpoints over and over ?? New planets are key in me rerolling a new character and experiencing fresh contact in the process. This is just my feelings, uim not upset just stating what I think would be cool , youve given us the storylines for each class, so thats really 4 different roles if you stick tpo one faction, but the abundance of planets fior each tier is sparce dont you think ?
  15. Watch this Skyrim video it is truly epic They should invent new games based on the epicness found in this video !
  16. I find the top option tends to be a good answer if your light sided, the middle option tends to be both a mixture of the above with a hint of the third option and the third tends to be dark sided. I think this is biowares mistake, as I tend sometimes to compeltely overlook the choices available andpick the top one. Ive found though a mixture of top and middle gives me companion points.. i have never tried the third option to see if it gives companion points as im scared I get dark side points. I think the choices should be mixed up, and also the dark and light icon should be removed so we get dark or light sided points for the things we naturallly choose to say. Whats the point in creating multiple choice , if in fact there is no actuall multiple choice as you know what to expect generally for the top, middle, and bottom choices ? If we had all the choices mixed up, and lioght or dark sided hidden, we would actually get lightside, and dark side faction based on what we naturally think. It would allow us to try to fathom out why you made a bad choice before and got darkside points ??? Is anyone else with me on this ?
  17. People here have a rightr to air their views, but what can be said about a staggered release for EGA is that it allows everyone to be spread out failry and keeps people from all piling up at one area. The SWTOR staggered release though was not so good as they didnt make the staggered release happen every 90-120 minutes for 24 hours till everyone got access. This would have been a fairer and faster approach inmy opinion. sorry for thosde waiting till tomorrow i know how you all feel, i can tell you though that as soon as you wake up tomorrow all that pain will go away because you will know for sure that today you can play I should get access today after what I saw earlier from a dev post. I havent been feeling like i did yesterday which was not a good feel, like that xmas eve feeling you got as a kid
  18. At least you dont have to pay for the game after playing pre -order... Most of us have to pay £40/$40-$50 on the 20th to keep playing, you dont
  19. you know how with SWTOR youve got social points that you can get from grouping up and talking with npcs ? Well that little thing there, is not done in any other mmo, but its designed to get people grouping up and meeting each other.... SWG had absolute stacks of that right there and roleplay was exceptionally easy to get involved with. SWG was open ended and had so many things you coulddo for yourself but you had to find things out yourself and was really steep learning curve and required patience sometimes, sometimeswaiting hours at time for krayt dragons to appear but the wait was exceedingly rewarding indeed SWG had more, SWTOR though has all the star wars feel about it that was in SWG but just not so in depth as SWG. There is only 8 classes in SWTOR, in swg, you could pick and choose combinations of 39 unique individual professions, you could mix and match skills and [professions in uniqe ways that you cant do with SWTOR. SWTOR , you choose a class then a sub class then your stuck with that for rest of game. With SWG though, if you maxed the skill trees and got master title for professions, you could sacrifice youre professions at any time, in order to start new ones. It allowed everyone the chance to try anything they wanted, to see what did what. SWG also had player citties with someone being the mayor, and it was the mayors job to try and stay in the city as the mayor, and depending on how good a myor you were, then people at the end of the month would vote you in or out of the mayor job in that city. Mayors built and added services and facilities and gardens and terminals and shuttleports etc to the city, and the idea of a city was to keep as many people on your side as possible and at same time look after the city base if you had one because at any time a group of enemyt players may come to try take on your base. In the ground where we played on, you could survey resources and everywhere across each planet, there were percentages of resources scattered all over the palce ,ie one spot on the ground might have 10% of one resource, but somewhere else on that planet might have 90% rof that resource, the idea was if you found a high percentage for the resource you needed, you would plant a farm on top of that resource and pay upkeep for a week or so and then use the resources from that farm to make stuff or sell to others. SWG was a huge experience and i swear its had the most amount of things to do in a game out of all mmos, but that is just based on what ive experienced with other mmos. I played 8 hours a day for one year and a half on modst days, one day i did a 24 hour stint and i remember as well grinding combat medic up while sleeping an hour then waking up and getting my skills updated that were grinding as i was asleep. It was ok in them days to auto macro grind, and at night that time i did combat medic i was sleeping on and off one hour asleep then 20 minutes or so getting my skill updated then putting macro on while going to sleep for another hour. There were garages you could fuel your vehivles with all over the planet in npc cities and also player cities too. There was just a ton of mmo facilities in SWG pre CU After nge the game had gone completely sideways and wasnot one bit like the oldway of playing. You can imagine how pissed people were to find their ace game completely ruined beyond belief with 39 or so professions wiped completely for 9 professions only that you could not mix and match anymore SWG lost about 80% of its fun and became something of a drab mess. It was a very sad day in SWG then there was a lot of hating going on just before pre cu. but that can be put down to the awesome amount of energy by players in those days to make the game super awesome Everyone burned out in the end Todays games are completely different .... All iveseen so far in sWTOR that involves players interacting is with the social points and the group missons and pvp zones, whats that 4 things ? In swg there was a lot more stuff to do a hell of a lot more actually. I played 1.5 years and still hadnt mastered everything. SWTOR possibly will last a long time too though because each profession has a unique story to be told as you play. The 8 professions might keep us all entertained, not like othermmos were if you play onme cklass and visit all planets, its not as much fun roleing a new char because the story is just the same..
  20. 5 for sure Most mmos are great, SWTOR is more because its Star Wars, its already proved to me it can satisfy my needs and is allowing me not to think about SWG.
