    Conqueror Cost

Man I'm surprised on how many people don't know about the best way to store coms in this game. I'll explain this once more so all you guys can get ready for 2.4 like i will. OK it goes like this: Step 1: Buy ANY item that costs coms of any type. Step 2: Hold onto item. Step 3: Buy new item and sell back the old one before the two hour return for FULL refund runs out. Step 4: PROFIT To explain a little more. When you buy ANY item for ANYTHING you can sell it back and get a FULL refund, this allows you to save your coms TO ANY DEGREE. Also that two hours is INGAME TIME ONLY. P.S. i have done this for my guys when lvling from 50 to 55 and having saved 14 (900 com weapons) thus giving me an extra 12,600 WZ coms to pend on a FULL set of Partisan gear when i get to 55. I also have done this before with lvling a character and saving all my coms till i hit 55, you can even save up for a FULL set of Conc gear if you so wish.
  2. Hello, myself and a few friends are looking for a new Imp guild to join. We currently are doing Flashpoints and Reg WZ's but want to start getting into Ops and Ranked WZ's. The roster for our group is myself, an experience player with a few years of Wow with end game raiding and Gladiator in 3v3 the year i cared about it. I currently heal on my Op which is in full 69s. I also play DPS on my Merc or heal when i want a challenge, he is in almost full Conc (65s). Next we have a new player a lvl 55 Powertech Tank or dps but still working on the DPS set. This friends its a casual player but wants to do end game stuff. Then lastly we have my other friend playing a sniper but also leveling an Assassin for dps in PVE and Tank/Dps in WZ's. He is very knowledgeable but still working on perfecting his playing. So again, we are looking for a nice big guild, so we can fill up some groups to start doing endgame content and lots of WZ's at least for me.
  3. I'll give your tryouts a try, also what AC of healer are you looking for? I have a 55 Op in 69s and a 55 merc in mostly Conc. hit me up in game as Soobydoo as my Merc or Evelynn as my Op.
  4. Hello, I'm interested in trying your guild out. Currently i have a 55 merc, and 55 OP. Just came back from the Republic side, where there i have 3 55s and several 50s, needless to say i know how to play many AC's. If you need me to list some previous competitive games i have played in. They are Magic the gathering at stats level twice, once in the top 8, Gladiator in wow once in 3v3, and got gold in League of legends in second season. So, again I'm interesting in getting a Ranked team and for the up coming 4v4. Hit me back in game as my Merc (Soobydoo). Thanks PS. I am usually Dps but have healed often too on both Merc and OP.
  5. There is one thing that i have not seen noted in this forum yet and as a Concealment Op as my main, i have one more thing to add. The stim boost need to be changes to a 20 or 30 second CD not this once in a blue moon 2 min. My reasoning for this is because its should be part of our rotation and something we need to keep going. I don't know about other Concealment Ops but i ALWAYS use stim boost right before i HS so i get the first 15 second of the fight at 16% alacrity (as well at starting with 2 TA). This puts your energy regen at 7.1 with no other points in to alacrity. That is a HUGE buff to not having problems with our energy management. The ability reminds me the Rogue ability in WOW, Preparation (gives you two combo point while in stealth so you can open up easier) This change form a laughable 2 min CD to a 30 sec (24 sec with talent point in concealment tree) would allow us to use it on every other back-stab so we can roll 7.1 energy per sec more consistently. Well there you have it my little suggestion to an ability that got a really bad re vamp and a way to make it useful to our class.
  6. As asked before, which spec are you talking about? For my answer...its going to be how to maximize the DPS burst for a Concealment OP. First rotation when all CDs are up going something like this: 1. Apply Acid Blade BEFORE THE FIGHT (it has no duration now so you can do this) 2. Stim boost (this is key to get the most out of your opener) Also why you do this is because doing this right before you open with HS you will start the fight with 2 TA and 16% alacrity. This is HUGE for you energy regen (now at 7.1 energy per sec instead of 6) and getting mroe attacking in a short time. 3. Lacerate (2 TA then back to 2 TA due to proc) 4. Stun (2 TA) 5. explosive probe (2 TA) 6. AB+BS (2 TA) 7. Lacerate (1 TA) 8. Shiv (2 TA) 9. Sever Talen (2 TA) 10. Lacerate (2 TA due to proc) 11. Corrosive Dart (2 TA) 12 or 13. Shiv (depends on proc) (2 TA) 12 or 13. Lacerate (2 TA) 14. lacerate (1 TA) 15. Shiv (2 TA) I know this is a long rotation but you will get the jest of it. Some key pointers for Concealment OPs dps is ALWAYS do three to four attacks then SHIV!!! You want to shuffle around the 1 and 2 TA to keep up the damage boost and not to leave you hanging with no good attack to do. You can put Corrosive Dart in there too, i do often, depending on the length of the fight. Just remember to watch your TA's and the CDs on Shiv and BS.
  7. GET THE MATRIX CUBE NUB!!!!! that is BIS and is a lvl 50 item. It only takes about an hour to get all the pieces. Also for implants, i say just have a buddy craft you some lvl 50 ones or just wait till 54 for the new crafted ones. Lastly, for you other none Matrix cube relic, get one from the old daily venders. Hopes this helps
  8. Personally, i stack as much main stat as i can (3057 atm) but for secondary stats, i get one piece of Alacrity for the last percent to decrease you Grave round/Tracer missle down to 1.4 since you already get 3% from your Cell. After that i get around 200 acc for the additional 2% bring you around 96% so your tech attacks do not miss (you might want more then this but i am still unsure since it only helps your Unload and basic attack). Then i do some crit to get around 30% with buffs (roughly round 250 crit rating) . Now, i do this because you will do better burst if you crit and my main kill move is Grave round with a Demo round. An average burst of 4500 from grave round fallowed up by an average 8500 Demo round. This is where i don't get people who say, stay away from crit because if you don't crit you don't burst., so I think its worth the stat. Lastly, i stack power (currently at 560) every where i can. Hope this helps.
  9. This isn't the question of needing to do it just for the defense, but how many you have on your team in the first place. Personally i just ask at the start of the WZ how many healers there are and if i don't see two i respect to heals.
  10. Oh I know! We seem to have gotten a lot of server transfers and for once it was some good Pubs (at least with my experience). I remember the days where it would be maybe once every other week to get a Pub vs Pub game and now its happening more and more often. Yay for evening out the faction imbalance.
  11. The funny thing about that "one guy" is that he noted that he plays the Sniper and Assassin. Also for a good laugh look at the post then he tries to explain why he wanted to do CC breaker CD reset on death. He says stupid stuff like how when it lights up when your CC'ed it lures you into using it!!!! Man you could not have chosen a worse person to do class balancing if that is his mind set. COME ON BW get your **** together.
  12. Mandos/Mercs 30% kill shot is playing smart and using your sticky grenade and time it with a Demo round and BOOM you got a kill shot. Also, your a Mando! you got electro net, which in itself with your rotation can kill any healer. You guys need to learn to work down a guy to less then half, make sure they pop their CC breaker then net them sticky grenade and use your burst rotation to get the kill. PLEASE PEOPLE learn to out play healers. Lastly if you scare the heals away with your damage then you should be swapping focus and burst some other poor guy down.
  13. You do know that Trooper's stealth scan could not be used without line of sight, and this was a KNOWN issue. This was a fix to the class that should have never been there in the first place, so please learn to play like any Trooper's has since the start. Also, you might want to check forums for known bugs due to many other threads have been made on this and how it should have been fixed. Thanks for the old news, guy.
  14. Yeah i know right, I too just had one guy i wanted to change, but when it came out they said we would get our free one on a later date. My guess is that they wanted to get as much money as they can before giving out the well deserved free name change to their loyal subscribers that have been paying them. I would assume that it would just take a week after it went live, to get all of the people who just couldn't wait for the free one and just cave into spend their money, so, what give BW?
  15. This we noted back a few months ago, but we have yet to get it for us subscribers, what gives BW? I had done a search for "free name change" in the forum search but every link that was in old post that showed them saying this have been replaced with new links. So, don't have a links for you but if you do the same search, i can assure you that they did post that subscribers were so post to get a free name change. Here the best one i found, so from now on I'm just going to have to screen shot the information they post because they seem to go back on their word often. 16. Then why are they different stats? if is was just to show Force and Melee, why are they not the same stats?
  17. So, if you looked at the stats and see a minimal difference in stats and no he was not trying to showing us the difference between Force and melee. It was a comparison between pve and pvp gear, and as you could see everyone in the form started talking about the extra force or tech power that they think they will get.
  18. I only made this thread to show how you people just jump to conclusions WAY to quick and all the talk was about how much more force or tech power you got from the 54 gear. I'm here to tell you its not true and you people need to look more closely before spewing out nonsense. Its TWO different stats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. If you looking at the http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6381526&posted=1#post6381526 post PLEASE look at the two pics closely you can see hes showing you one in FORCE STATS and the other in MELEE STATS, its not a proper comparison.
  20. My only problem with you pics is that your showing us your Force stats in one pic and the Melee stats in the other, thus not showing a proper comparison. Please show us the same ones so we can actually compare them.
  21. One thing i would like to note, is the mount of off healing they can do and still get good numbers for dps. I wish i was at home to link you some of my screen shots but I'm at work. I will say its average for me to get 400k+ dps with an easy 200k+ healing done. USE THOSE kolto missiles all the time!!!! Also, i regularly use the 5 stacks for the instant cast on your 12 cd heal, side note if you use it with 4 stacks is a .3 cast time, its SUPER fast and not much lost in dps for extra survivability. Lastly use your CD that gives you two instant cast, use them to save yourself or other buddies, two instant big heals (often critting for 6k) plus a kolto missile can bring you back from death.
  22. I do have gotten the Keypad and must say its AWESOME. One huge positive to it, is its form fitting to the hand for extreme comfort for long term play. One thing i must tell you before you buy one, is if you like to use control modifiers (shift, ctrl, and alt) this is because it is a MUST with any keypad out there due to the amount of keys. I know for myself that i use darn near every key on there with all 3 modifiers and i also have a Cyborg MMO mouse, which is where my next point comes in. The Cyborg MMO must (http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/mmo.htm) is a GREAT buy; its up there with the price of the Orbweaver, but man is it a better buy then the Naga. This is due to button positioning and being able to grip you mouse without a worry of hitting that MASSIVE keypad on the side of your mouse. These two have been my MMO set up for about 2 years now and i will say its all so smooth that i could not go back to a keyboard and normal mouse for any game.
  23. They did say that it would be coming on a later date, but we all know its because they just wanted anyone who wanted it so bad would pay for it before they gave you the free one, thus getting more money out of it before you getting the well deserved free one. This is another **** move by BW just to make more money, now lets see them actually put that money to a good use to the game other then CM fluff.
  24. OK nub, first what you can do is be more original and not use such common names. I know my friend uses the random name generator till he finds one he likes and can pronounce. Second do what people have been doing for over a decade in MMO's and make an alt with the name you like, so it is not taken till you want to change your name. This concept of using an alt for saving a name can also be used to see if your name is even available. That's two ways around what your complaining about, before jumping the gun on something you know nothing about or at least not putting any real effort into, other then making a stupid thread.
  25. Well for pve this is the build you should use. (i believe its the same as the one your using) http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/commando/223/?build=022322021210003012110320023000100203003000000000000000000000000000200000000000000000000000000000&ver=20 However if you wish to cut out 2 of the 4 alacrity talent points, you could get the immune push back for oh **** situations and reducing the cost on your Kolto wave (concussive charge) to 0 so its a nice free group heal. These are all personal choices, however though solid stats are usually the way to go in PVE.
