This. ^^^^^^ I'm a girl myself and i'm saying that in the most non-hypocrite way I possibly can after above statement But I have a few female friends who I can't stand playing MMOs with, they get into the kind of guilds with guys/maybe even other girls who would feed them the attention they seek. I even had a friend who logged onto the game for like 4 hours every day just to sit around idly while simply talking in guild chat about the things she does because she's a girl. I wanted to peel her face off.

I have mixed feelings towards DPS/HPS meters. While it's sweet to see your improvements and compete against your friends, assuming it doesn't come at the cost of standing in fire, I'm also afraid it'll bring hate into this game. Because it's much easier for certain people to just flame a person who does poor DPS, than I don't know, maybe ask them about their rotation or tell them what to do differently. I love BWs games, and I'd hate for SWTOR's playerbase and the community to turn into a WoW clone. (read 'HQ of basement dwellers')

Hahaha, awkward silences ftw. I have a couple of friends who I occasionally greet more randomly, I'm sure everyone does this (example: http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/photo/2660660_460s.jpg) So one time I wanted to crack a lame joke instead of say hi, and I typed in general: "A neutron walks to a bar and asks how much for a beer. The bartender says, "There is no charge for you." ;P awkward moment since general chat must've thought I was actually trying to be funny.. Same with accidentally saying 'hello' to general chat and then you feel like you must start a conversation or you're just weird.

I'd also like more answers. Got a level 8 counselor on the way and soon to choose the Ac and I really can't make my mind up I kind of want to heal, both in PvP and PvE, but my main's a sniper so I'm kind of missing lightsabers, and sages don't seem to find much use for them. Loving throwing debris and rocks at the enemy however I have a sith assassin, wouldnt mind making a jedi shadow knowing they're mirrors but.. I have no idea how they do in PvP. I'm not the kind to go for the "most op class for PvP", but my DPS with my sith has been kinda "slow", and I really enjoy PvP , so I'd hate to pick that class and feel like I'm throwing tiny stones at a concrete wall

Please no. Maybe something that'll help you find a FP if you're inside the Fleet, but none of that 'click button, find group, no one says anything for the entire duration of it unless you wipe, loot, leave, repeat"

I played WoW before SWTOR and I always told myself WoW's community is the way it is because of like 20 million players or something, I mean that kind of an insane amount of players also has its fair share of unchangeable tards like that Thankfully on my server most people are really nice and I tip my hat to the general community of it, but I constantly hear stories from my friend who plays on a PvP server that the playerbase's made of poop. He's thinking of fleeing over to my server, but is afraid he'll miss the world pvp'ness of it. Maybe when character transfer's available he will. I really, really don't know what people are trying to prove by acting like this. If they did that IRL, I'm pretty sure someone would set them straight instantly. But on the internet you're "invincible," apparently. Thankfully I've grown my 6th sense already, "ignore the tards."

I read a couple of pages, not all because there's 97 of them. I really appreciate it Bioware, EA and Lucasarts are listening to players wishes on these boards and did something in the patch to fix the appIearance of the global CDs. However jjust like many people have said in these posts, at least for me as a sniper player it's become even more difficult to see which skill is usable after the global CD. For me they appear completely grayed out until the global CD is off, then become 'colourful' again. It makes me feel I'm constantly out of energy even if i'm actually 80% in. The previous appearance of the toolbar was better imo BUt i can only tell in the PoV of IA/smugg ^^

I just find it rather cool that there are many accents and ways of pronounciation in the game. Not just the same guy and same gal doing the voices over and over, but changing the voice so that it sounds like they're someone else. I'm not a native but spoken English for 11 years, and so far I've not noticed anything pronounced "wrong", just differently.

Agree, playing a merc at the moment. I love them in PvE and gives you that awesome feeling you're actually blowing stuff up with your flames, missiles and guns, but in PvP I feel like I could just as well sell my pistols to fund my missile construction factory inside my arms better.
