  1. I can't see how it really has much of an effect, cos once they resolve one of the bugs, I'll close the others. To me, they made sense to be 3 different bugs : 1) I encountered an issue 2) Your patch didn't work 3) You told me to make a ticket It comes down to their CS system not being trustworthy. Depending on how process though their bugs, for all I know, updating my bug that I made on the 24th could put it later in the queue because it makes it seem like a more recent issue - so why would I want to do that?
  2. I have 3 tickets in on this bug. The first I made on the 24th when I first experienced it, the second I made on the 8th when the patch claimed to fix it but didn't, and the third I made yesterday when Tait said to make a ticket. I made all of them in the "mission" category - technically, I also made on in the "bug report" category that they closed on the 25th. Still waiting....
  3. I am very disappointed in their lack of response on this bug. I came back to play KoFE cos I heard such good things about the story, and I paid for a subscription through to when I'm due to have a baby. Because of this bug, if I want to play the content I paid to play, it looks like I have to skip content that I've been told is important to that story....so I won't get a complete experience. Since they didn't fix the bug today, I assume the next chance for them to fix it is next Tuesday. One week before my baby is due, two weeks before my subscription runs out. So I doubt I'd be able to get through it all. Looks like I'll have to resubscribe next summer and hope they fix it by then.
  4. I had this same bug today as well. I also had the Rishi class mission bug for my Imperial Agent "Forfeit" quest, which I submitted a bug report on 4 days ago and they finally fixed for me to today. Really bums me out because I was told the Ziost storyline was important for the Fallen Empire storyline, which was the whole reason I came back to play swtor. So I guess I get to sit around for days (hopefully) waiting for them to fix it before I can continue on. And here I'm due to have a baby in 3 weeks, so if I don't get to play through the storyline before then, I basically won't get to for a few months.
  5. Hi! I'm a west-coaster who been stuck on east coast servers since launch, since I started playing with friends who all wanted to play on east coast servers who quit the game a year ago. So I'm excited to finally be able to move to a west coast server that can fit my schedule better. My main has been my engineering sniper - in the process of getting conqueror gear right now, but the guild I was is pretty much died in the last month so I've been focusing more on my alts lately. Basically, I have a 55 Sniper, and 50 Sorc, and a 50 Powertech on the imp side, and a 55 Sentinel, 50 Shadow, and a 50 Scroundrel that I'm currently working on getting to 55. I've really been loving playing my Scoundrel lately though, so I'm thinking of switching to that as my main. So, I'd like to join a pvp guild, hopefully on a ranked team if I'm deemed worthy - I could go either Rep or Imp, tho I'm honestly more excited about my Rep characters at the moment. But I also love leveling alts, so if there are any guilds that also have people who play both factions occasionally, that'd be ideal.
  6. Well the gear disparity is comforting. Hopefully I'll get closer numbers to yours with more practice. Keeping track of when everything is off cooldown and need to be refreshed is a lot trickier now than on live is seems.
  7. Man this rotation is tricky. Will take some getting used to. Without scatter bombs: http://www.torparse.com/upload ~ about 1800 dps (when trimmed) With scatter bombs: http://www.torparse.com/a/163516 ~ about 2088 dps (when trimmed) I think I did slightly better dps with my clumsy attempt at this rotation than I did last week with my familiar rotation that I've been using for months on live, so I'm confident that once I get used to it I'll do even better. But apparently either I suck, or have a lot worse gear than you do since your numbers blow mine out of the water. My tech stats are: Bonus Damage: 1122.6 Accuracy: 109.33% Crit Chance: 29.57% Crit Multiplier: 60.96% Alacrity: 2.06
  8. Is that the Relic of Serendipitous Assault? I haven't looked at it on the PTS, but according to dulfy.net, its only supposed to happen when you heal an ally. So it seems like it would be a bug that it procs cos of vital regulators. So you should report that. Edit: That's the PVE version, she doesnt have the PVP relic description on her site.
  9. I agree that people default into trading objectives, a la the lines that formed to turn in orbs for the gree event. Not sure if kills would get traded as easily though, just cos of the communication barrier between sides. I don't see why they couldn't do a daily to kill 5-10 players of the other faction wouldn't work, so long as it only counts to kill that's the same level as you - maybe at lower levels it only counts if they're within 4 levels of you or something. I think keeping it to a small number of kills, and allowing it to be fulfilled on any planet, would help keep the crazy Ilum mob situation from happening. And make the rewards be solely PVP related.
  10. How about so someone with 1-3 friends can actually play a multiplayer game with their friends and have fun? Edit: Premades don't guarantee a win - I can't tell you how many times I've solo qued and ended up on a team with a premade thinking "sweet, I'm with a premade, so hopefully we'll win this one!" only to get crushed horribly.
  11. I'm playing sub-50 pvp on my Shadow right now - but I feel like there are a lot of idiots on the republic side who don't call incomings, leave node unattended, etc. The other day I was capping mid in Civil War - I had one teammate with me who just stood there and watched while one guy from the other team ran over and interrupted my cap. And then that teammate got the most MVP votes. Though I haven't played sub-50 pvp in awhile on imp side, so I couldn't tell you if they're any better. However, I think at 50, most matches I play are imp vs imp, but usually when I'm pugging against republic, republic wins. So I can only assume that the idiots get bored before they hit 50 and only the good remain.
  12. I got mine yesterday as well. Love it.
  13. So it used to be that I only used Snipe if I was waiting for cooldowns on other abilities, and only used Overload Shot when I was on the move for free in place of my rifle shot. I'm wondering now if its worth using those more often in place of other things like Ambush or Corrosive Dart.
  14. Yea...pretty much every empire character I have has been confused about why she's fighting Malgus.
  15. It'd be cool if they added different color rakghoul pets you can get. Easy to them to do, but depending on the color, would make me want to work for another one.
  16. I'm happy its coming back. There are a lot of people playing the game now that weren't playing it when the event happened, and its dumb that they would never get to have it otherwise. I hope this time, thay add a few new items (even just different color pets and armor) to make it more appealing to those of us who have done it before, but also add reputation and/or achievement stuff to it.
  17. This is why my 5th and 6th characters will both be stealthers. So I can skip all the trash mobs.
  18. I hate not being able to give companions gifts on my ship. When I get an alt to 50, all I really want to do with that character is finish all my companion conversations - which I have to be on my ship for a fair amount of. So I hate having to sit through loading screens to leave my ship, give them gifts, and then go back on my ship to talk to them. I want cross-server rated warzones. There aren't enough teams queing on our server for a new team (like the one I'm on) to get matched with anyone else their level, which is very discouraging.
  19. Are you playing for objectives ? I think if you're playing for objectives and getting 300k on a good night, you're doing fine. Its more important to play for objectives than get super high damage numbers. And a Sniper will get significantly higher damage numbers based on their team makeup - the highest damage I ever did was in a very close Novare Coast where everyone was fighting at mid the entire game, and I had 2 healers keeping me up. Edit: Also try Engineering and just AoE the **** out of everyone.
  20. I'm a little puzzled by the changes, but it seems like they're trying to bring back some survivability to Engineering tho vital regulators being made tier 1 will also give every spec the option to have it. Also seems like they're encouraging us to use Snipe more often...
  21. This is what I've been afraid of. I love my Engineering spec. If anything, it needed a boost to make it more useful in raids.
  22. Playable Torgruta would be one of the few races I would actually pay extra money to be able to have. I've also wanted to be able to make a Voss character ever since my first character went to Voss.
  23. My understanding is that you can only hit level 55 if you buy the expansion.
  24. Pleased to meet you! What I tend to do when leveling characters is to buy some orange gear that I like for all my armor, and at the end of every planet I use all my planetary commendations to buy the highest level mods/armorings/enchantments/etc that they sell and putting them in my gear. My rule is - if a quest offers me a commendation, I take that, unless if offers another piece of orange gear with better mods than my current one has. I don't quite know the rules on what level 50 gear preferred status players can wear, but 2.0 is going to come out soon, at which point everything that's currently the best gear at end game will no longer be, so it's pointless to advise you on that now. I believe you get a limit on how many end-game flashpoints/operations/warzones you can do - I think for operations, you actually have to buy a weekly pass to do any of them. However, you can buy that pass with either real money off the cartel market, or in-game credits through the GTN. Same goes with passes to do more than the allotted warzones and flashpoints. I would take Biochem on your characters that can't heal themselves, as reusable medpacks are awesome during leveling. I also think Biochem is more useful to have on your main then Cybertech, but that's just me. However, if you do take Cybertech and put forth the effort, you can make yourself better mods to put in your orange armor than you can buy - I did that with one of my characters. I know subscribers can send their other characters items/money in the mail, but I think that might be limited to subscribers - that's the main reason I decided to keep my subscription, sadly. If you can't do that, you can at least send yourself money by putting something on the GTN for way more than its worth and then buying it with you character who has more money. I guess you can also send yourself items that way, but just hope no one else buys the item in the time it takes you to switch characters.
