  1. Serious pvp requires a highly responsive camera, and responsive attacks. Neither of which are in the game, and both make having true, serious pvp in this game impossible.
  2. We were originally told we would be able to trade "bags" with other members of the raid. That is clearly not the way things worked out. I still don't have too much of an issue with this, as it is only for normal mode. The higher difficulty levels allow only a single set of drops, like a normal boss.
  3. This absolutely must be fixed. I am almost certain it was an intentional design decision by Bioware, and I genuinely have to question whether their testers were idiots or not because of it. Interactive world quest objectives take far too long to respawn. I just had to stand in front of a computer console in Hoth for 5 minutes while I waited for the objective to respawn. I completed my bonus mission to kill a certain number of mobs before it respawned, and still had to stand around and wait. This is highly problematic, as not everyone is willing to party up so everyone can get credit together. I had a similar problem on Taris with a quest which had an objective to plant an explosive on a transport ship. It took at least 5 minutes for that objective to respawn as well. Interactive world quest objectives should never take more than 30 seconds to respawn. Mobs are an entirely different story, of course. I'm sure it was done like this to increase immersion, as I'm sure Bioware thought it would look silly for the thing you blew up to suddenly be there in working condition after only a few seconds, but the reality is that function must always take precedence over form.
  4. I love people like you. "I know my graphics card is good enough." Then... "How do I find my specs?" If you don't know how to find your specs there is no way in hell you know for a fact that your graphics card is good enough for this game.
  5. Planet instancing was a good idea for starting planets on launch. It was even a good idea on the Capital planets. However, beyond that, it is both unnecessary and it damages the sense of massiveness in a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. I play on The Fatman, Empire side, and I have yet to find myself needing to race or compete with another player to complete an objective for a quest, and I believe I am closing in on 3 days /played. Planet instancing is harmful to immersion, but it is also harmful to world pvp. I rolled on a PvP server to fight the opposing faction while I did quests. Ganking, being ganked, and fun duels and revenge attacks are part of being on a PvP server, but that is made less common because of planet instancing. What I find most interesting is that as completely unnecessary and harmful as planet instancing is for most planets, the one place where it could actually be useful and productive it is not used. I am referring, of course, to the Fleets. If there is one place in the entire game where using planet instancing would be valid and it would not damage immersion to a high degree, it is the Fleets. I would kill to be able to avoid having my framerates become unstable upon entering the fleet. In conclusion, the implementation of planet instancing needs to be re-evaluated. Planets beyond the starters and capitals simply don't need it. The Fleets would greatly benefit from it, and people's computers would thank you if you implemented it in them.
  6. A universal Official LFG channel would be fine. Like General, but it goes across all planets.
  7. Anti-sign Does not sign Disagrees Etc Server queues are part of MMO launches. If you expected anything else you are completely delusional.
  8. I suppose best is too subjective. How about most active? I'm trying to decide what my secondary server should be. I'm gonna roll republic on it for when I have long queues to get into Fatman with my Empire characters.
  9. No, it means exactly what it said. By pre-ordering you are guaranteed early access (access to the game before launch on the 20th), and you may get in up to 5 days early.
  10. Indeed. The only thing I take issue with right now is the warzone xp exploit.
  11. 50s It's about 10-20 years since the sacking of Coruscant, and that war lasted years. She was in her late teens, mid 20s when the Sith returned.
  12. Up to 5 days. Up to 5 days. Up to Up to There is nothing difficult to understand about that wording. You are not guaranteed 5 days, you are guaranteed up to 5 days. Meaning you might only get 1, you might get 3 or 4, some will get 5.

    The Fatman

I just logged on. No queues on Fatman for me.
  14. They are simply quests which are difficult enough to require a group to complete.
