  1. Just to say, I'm not saying things should be easier. I'm saying we should have lockouts on loot, not instances, to cater to the casual, or so we can help casuals after other runs. I'm saying enrage timers are so tightly tuned that it's almost unforgiving of any mistake, a group geared for that content is usually within seconds of enrage timers. I'm saying there needs to just be one damn server with instancing, other games do it, why can't this, or at least forced mergers, not pick and choose, people will still be screwed with that system. But thanks everyone that put words in my mouth instead of reading...
  2. Guess that means we're just trying to do the endgame stuff when we shouldn't be, we're just screwed out of all endgame content i guess, well I have no fun leveling alts. Really hoping Secret World doesn't turn out like this game did.
  3. Cause I'm so upset, in a depression, annoyed that the devs have done NOTHING to correct the inconsistencies of server pops.So many guild issues ALL because of the game...
  4. Not being able to help out undergeared or guilds not divisible by they're arbitrary number does cater to the static hardcores. Enraged timers and tight tuning does cater to the hardcores. Not being able to get tokens to at least work towards pieces of gear when you can't finish HM EC does cater to the hardcore.
  5. The problem is, I DO CARE, and watching my server and guild slowly die out makes me so freaking sick to my stomach that I ever even spent money on this game. And all you people are talking about leveling, I'm talking ops, and all the new stuff, It's way to hard for even the semi-casuals, no people that will even attempt pugging it cause servers are dead. Enrage timers ruin any chance of running without their optimal grouping and are way overtuned. Can't even rerun instances for guilds not divisible by 8. All you would have to do is loot lock bosses, and let us help out undergeared people. Had 12 people prepped for EC in our guild, could only do 8 cause couldn't get enough people for 16, people rage not being in that group of 8, cause of course we can't redo instances to help out. SO MANY THINGS!!!!!! I DO CARE!!!!!
  6. ...The game is NOT casual or EVEN semi-casual friendly. It was at least semi-casual friendly at launch, but since 1.2 it's only geared towards the hardcore, get over it, that's why so many people have quit. If you want the game to survive, you need to get over this whole hardcore enraged timers/tight tuning bosses/not letting groups rerun ops and just be loot locked that is going on. All these people that have left were the casual and semi-casual, and now you're realizing that the hardcore is almost the only ones left. Our server at least is dead in the water, and transfers are going to fix nothing, there needs to be forced mergers.
  7. The problem is, WE NEED FORCED MERGERS NOT TRANSFERS. TRANSFERS PAID OR NOT DOES NOT ALLEVIATE THE ISSUES!
  8. And you know, they probably are, cause again, those games have no problems finding people for raids....
  9. Did i say that? Nope, but at this point there are never any problems finding people for raids in that game.
  10. Yet again, other game do it with no problems, we still have a guild running in dcuo, and for all the things that game does wrong, their raiding is done right, right now tor is driving a wedge between the casual and semi-casual guilds, which again is the bulk of their playerbase but won't be much longer.
  11. Then change it to a mark system instead of a token system, that's way better anyways... only the super hardcore would do such a thing and that's like less that 5%, meanwhile more than 70% would be happy with these changes, and wouldn't you rather have the majority of your paying player base happy? No guess not,, cause people are quitting in droves, and there's only 30 on our fleet at prime time...
  12. What's to stop them from having 8 raid ready alts right now and doing it? Seriously it's pve who cares if the hardcore get stuff faster, they already do. TOR devs need to learn to prioritize these casual guilds, and on the now tiny servers, cause everyone who doesn't mind releveling everything moved to fatman, grabbing pugs is impossible.
  13. OMG, people need to read before they post, this is not what we're saying at all...
  14. Prob is other mmos do do it, these people just don't think that they're any good. Well they're wrong and not changing this is driving away more people than they think. Like I said this is something that would help out the more casual guilds so much, it's not game breaking at all, it's not like we're asking for free loot, we just want to be able to run an instance more than once a week to help the others that get left out before they quit cause the keep getting left out cause the raid system is fail and doesn't accommodate for the low pops, or even high pops but people who don't want to run with pugs.
  15. The only BoE loot is a few random mods and crafting gear, and if it takes making all BOP then do it, we'd seriously like to not keep leaving people out of raids cause we can't get enough to do them cause our guild isn't freaking divisible by 8, and don't say just alt, cause people with lives do not have time to alt as well, some of us have time to raid a few extra times for other members but not enough time to alt...
  16. yes they both did, stop being an elitist and check your facts
  17. Everquest 2, Everquest 1. And all are still running? Free 2 play doesn't mean they fail, and at this point are better games than this one cause of this very reason!
  18. Nope, DCUO does it, Lotro does it, champions does it. I'm sure there's more others have told me about. And if that's the case for EC hardmode, who freaking cares if people want to spend that much time and effort to cheat a system that needs to be in place to help out casual guilds(which is the bulk of your market bioware!) then let them, who cares!?
  19. Any chance lockouts in ops can be changed so you're just locked out from loot rolls but not locked out from entering? It would really be useful to guilds that are not divisible by 8, or have more than 8 geared for a new instance but less than 16. Please look into applying this as many other mmos do.
  20. Are you stupid? Look the system of locking out of loot only and not whole instance has been a staple in many new games. Not all loot would be for that person that is the only not locked out, and if people want to waste that much time on one character each just for one or two pieces they're crazy and good for them, so what? Seriously, we just want to be able to help out the low geared members and be able to run more than one freaking EC when we don't have enough for 16 and have more than 8 that's geared enough. WHY WOULD YOU BE AGAINST LETTING PEOPLE HELP FOR NO REWARD!?!?!? This is my biggest pet peeve in the game and the HUGE thing that's driving our guild apart! PLEASE DEVS CHANGE THIS AROUND!
  21. Yeah but like we're saying, they don't have to keep giving us loot, just lock us out of loot once a week but not out of ever doing the instances more than once. It isn't that hard to just have a flag in place if you're locked to even just roll on loot.
  22. I have been saying this since launch, TOR is using an archaic system that shouldn't be used anymore. Would love to be able to help out guild members in guilds not divisible by 8, or just people that can't make every time. PLEASE DEVS, WE WANT THIS!!!
