A lot of unnecessary crying on this board today. The servers for the forum are on the same hardware as the game servers so yes, both go down. Maintenance has also never been extended past their timeframes, only postponed.

Can we stop this thread right here? Meters did not kill the WoW community. The community is far from dead and if anything, its the LFR and LFG tools that are killing it. In 5 years of WoW, I had never run into a group that was more worried about their dps in a fight except when enrage timers had to be met. If the player was good enough to hit at least the minimum dps and a little more to cover any slack, they wouldn't even worry about it. Over-exaggerations are quite common in this community.

They only feel slow because you are on a string of planets that are very open. Their speed is fine, its just human perception.

Your thread is on page 2 mid-way. It has the server tag in front of it for Rogue Moon. I was a little confused too but honestly, its easy to get used to. You may be losing a lot of requests since the change but that will change in a few weeks. Yes it will be hard but soon the requests will show back up. Now that you don't have to bump your thread every 2 hours, it is much more manageable so you will get more eventually.
