This is a topic that make a lot of players uncomfortable because of how split the game is on the topic of PVP. I love SWTOR and have been playing since the first beta and finally the launch in 2011. Since the launch of the game, pvp hasn't had much attention as I think it should. The PVE aspect of the game will always be there because of how much story is in the game but what I would love to see is an overhaul on the pvp side. I know people feel that everyone wants this game to be SWG, but its just because of how great of an experience pvping with friends and guildies was. SWTOR is already special in the overall story, fully voiced, choice making, pve is fun, however the game could be greater with a new pvp system. SWG had the GCW pvp system that I feel worked well for the game, besides the ranking system that would derank you for not playing, it was a fluent system. It used the planets that we all love being on like Tatooine, Coriella, Naboo, and Rori as spots for open pvp to take place, it was an event where you built forces on the offense and defense, those on defense protecting the city and their General for their respective faction. If you won, you had loot access to certain items and these events would happen right after the other so there was always an event happening to do some pvp. There were also arena and warzone type of modes that you could also challenge a specific guild with specific rules to the game like a capture the flag or team deathmatch style. All of these gave you points to the GCW system and once you reached General you had access to a lot of amazing gear or collection items for your house or personal. There was also a leaderboard each week for the person with the most open world kills, arena/WZ kills, and also tracked who did the most damage in pvp for the week which was awesome for creating names in the community that you play in and to know who to lookout for in PVP on a week to week basis. Just imagine if PVP was transpiring in the game all the time and having that competitive aspect to it, a lot of the planets that we all love we only take adventure to if there's a mission we need to complete or a holocron we haven't discovered or maybe for a little RP. We've been doing arenas and the same Warzones since the game launched with some additional Warzones here and there but nothing that completely knocked peoples socks off. The gearing system has had some turns but still feels stale and carried over from past systems in the game. Utilizing the planets that we all love to create some open world pvp atmosphere and changing the way we pvp would be something that I feel would bring a lot of star wars/SWTOR lovers back who enjoy world pvp and pvp in general. And for people that pvp isn't their thing, they still have hours of rp pve gameplay to play on every class, the pvpers need some love and the game needs a new look in that department. I love SWTOR but this will make me love it even more and make the game more fun.

PVP is going to be a major thing for us, we want to change the way people look at pvp, not just going to WZ's for comms and doing the same routine every day. We want to be server active, have long night battles with republic guilds on the sands of Tat, or snowy mountains of Illum or Hoth. We understand that world PvP doesn't offer anything, but what it does do is offer a fun time where Bolster buffs don't get involved and you show off your true skill. PvP is just one thing, we also intend on forming a PVE purpose group, where we go into hardmodes to defeat tough bosses and get gear. The guild is ran by me known in game as Bastosa, Bastosaa, bastosa'z or any bastosa with something on the end of it .
