  2. The default focus keybinds are Alt+F to set your Focus target. You can then target anything else and watch them cast or whatever you need to do. If your focus needs a heal you just press END+(heal button) to send your cast to the Focus. END + (ability) sends the cast to your focus. There is also a keybind to swap your target and your focus target, that might be better for you in some cases.

  4. Hmm, perhaps I am misunderstanding your request but I have my OPS frame expanding from left to right horizontally? I just had to click on the OPS frame and change the options?
  5. You are misunderstanding the tiers, tiers indicate what set bonus goes with that gear. Tier 1 is the only gear released yet, that includes Tier 1.1 Tionese, Tier 1.2 Columi, and Tier 1.3 Rakata. Tier 2 armor/weapons will be coming with the new Operations in patch 1.2
  6. I have been using modded bracers and belts for awhile now. This will help me find that smuggler one instead of the fleet light belt I have been wearing to reclaim that bit of armor hit I was taking. Thank you for another great guide Dulfy!
  7. The alternate way is to have everyone spread out. The person he pops up next to is the one that you need to instantly Cleanse the dot off.

  9. As a matter of course we do a phase reset after each try at SOA and that solves the platforms not being there. We had him despawn last night once in P3.

    Gear?

    The best gear is orange gear that the crafter has critted on to add an augment slot. The exception to that is the set bonuses from Columni/Rakata/Battlemaster and the devs have said that they are changing the gear to allow the locked mods as well as set bonuses to be transferred to new pieces. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=1398252#edit1398252 In addition there are the Bind on Pickup Rakata belts and bracers that the crafters can make for themselves. Do your research before you say you are disappointed, just becuse it will take a lot of work to make the best does not mean it's not there.
  11. Works fine on HM if you have a healer that just can't pull his own weight. I have sat out as a healer when we had super DPS and I have killed my own on HM. The healer just sits out and does nothing while the DPS kills the first mob, as soon as the mob is dead the healer heals that DPS up to full then DPS begins to attack the next mob. He needs to wait otherwise you will get the debuff.
  12. It is not for sawbones, it is for the other two trees that do not have EM or improved UWM. For sawbones there is no reason to have it on the quickbar.

  15. Talent bonuses are additive. In other words after all bonuses from everything else are determined (with their diminishing returns) the 30% Crit bonus is added to those number straight up.
  16. I agree that DS is fine and works wonders in PVE, but more than likely those that say it's useless are not healing HM's/OP's or are entirely PVP. In PVP it is pretty worthless and in non HM's and OP's it is not needed so it may be just that they haven't hit that level yet.
  17. This is a list of the true interrupt abilities so you can understand what your various group composition can work with. These are ones that will work on bosses that have an interrupt-able ability. Some classes have things like knockdowns that will interrupt non-bosses as well but this is purely for boss info. Note that not all boss abilities can be interrupted.   18. - REMOVE PUGNACITY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD and give us the same regen you would have with it up 100% of the time. Agreed, as others have said this is meant to always be up and is annoying. Either extend the duration to 10-30 minutes or better yet just up our regen and remove this ability. - Kolto Cloud healing needs to target the lowest 4 percentage health targets within 30m range and if self targetted, should heal yourself, plus 3 others. That still doesn't help it in FP's where there are only 4. I would prefer to see it either increase to more ticks or have higher healing numbers, this way the Sages AE hit more people but ours heals fewer people for more health. - Make Alacrity also reduce energy cost on heals, its currently counter intuitive. - Increase the benefit of Alacrity. Power, crit and surge are all better choices No. Sages favor Alacrity, we don't. I am happy with differences in classes. - Increase damage for Sawbones. No, we are healers, not DPS. - Get rid of the double stacking for our single target HoT, it just makes the class even more "fiddly" than it already is. Agreed. Change the Hot to double effectiveness and make it single target. We could then roll it out on the entire raid with work if we had too. - Add a HoT to Kolto Pack that does 100% of the current healing value over 12s in addition to the current heal. That might be too extreme but I do believe something needs to be added to make this heal worth casting. Maybe just remove the Upper Hand cost? That might be too extreme also though. - Diagnostic Scan heal needs to be increased by 300-500%. - Patient Studies needs to restore 5 energy per crit up from 2. No to both, but I think that the talents going from 1,2 up to 2,3 would be reasonable. 5 would be godly. - Increase the healing on Emergency Med Pack by 300% and put a 4s cooldown on it. HECK NO. UWM+EM is our rotation, it is a good heal followed by energy regen. I would be happy if they upped the healing a bit on EM but I am happy with it now. - Make Emergency Med Pack available without Upper Hand on targets below 30%. No, it's not hard to generate UH's and you should always have one up for the bonus 9% healing anyways. - Remove the 10s of healing reduction on Disappearing Act for Sawbones. Agreed. - Remove the vertical beam graphics on XS Freighter Flyby in PVP. Would be nice for PVP since all it does is tell people to get out of the way. - Reduce the activation time of XS Freighter Flyby by 1s. No, it is fine as is if we could get it to land on people without the warning. - Give the Shoot First knockdown to all specs of Scoundrel. No, we are NOT DPS.
  19. Inspecting Skill Trees will not help you determine their skill, only that they found a spec online and used it. Keep track of the good ones in your friends list and put the bad ones in your ignore if you have to. Play, evaluate, learn.
  20. For pre fight throw SRMP on the tank and two dps, don't worry about yourself. Keeping that up on three people is easy on energy and then in your rotation you can do UWM followed by EM on whoever needs it (this could be you/dps for the random agro but usually the tank). If you are topped off on energy then throw out KC and the combination or SRMP+KC is decent healing along with EM and bypass UWM until you need it. Using one of those two methods I can usually heal just fine until the dps acts nuts and over agros and starts dropping low. Don't be afraid to blow through your energy and use Cool Head with its two minute cooldown. Next fight it will be up and you should be good to go again.

  23. If this is for spammer protection couldn't the spammer just add everyone online to a friend list if they wanted? They are spamming so they don't care who they get to, rather the volume. Please Devs: Allow an option for Global Friends List Allow offline friends to be added to Friends List Allow notes for Friends List (i.e.- Mikes alt, Johns alt, Artificer, healer, etc)
  24. Auto Turn only works in PVE, there is NO Auto Turn in PVP. Are you saying that in PVE you are finding it hard to win fights in one of the easiest leveling games ever made??
  25. If it is an actual mod then yes. Not all purple gear consists of mods, some are just a purple version of a blue recipe. If you go into your preferences and enable all four of the Tooltip options then you can see the mods on an item. If you can see the mod you can pull it out. Presently the Armor Mod is NOT available to be pulled out yet. I say yet because a dev post indicated they were going to allow both that mod and the set bonuses to be pulled and transferred between Orange items.
